Incantaventu 2026: Tenute Navarra and Telefono Arcobaleno bring “Radici e Ali” back to Butera to make children’s dreams come true.

Tenute Navarra and Telefono Arcobaleno ETS are bringing back to Butera the grape harvest dedicated to the children and young people in Sicily’s foster care communities. On August 29, a Pact for Children was also established: a shared commitment between those who care for the land and those who protect children, in the name of a community that chooses to be there.

“Incantaventu – Cultivating Dreams in Flight”

Some dreams need roots before they can take flight. It is from this image that “Incantaventu – Cultivating Dreams in Flight” was born, the project promoted by Telefono Arcobaleno ETS and Tenute Navarra, which on Saturday, August 29, will bring 65 children and teens from Sicilian foster care communities back to Butera for a day centered on the land, care, freedom, and the chance to imagine the future.

Incantaventu builds on the legacy of the first grape harvest held on August 29, 2025, as part of “Dalla Vite alla Vita,” and transforms it into an annual event. The grape harvest remains the original act: walking through the rows, picking the grapes, and understanding the rhythms of the agricultural calendar. But around that act, a broader narrative unfolds, built on the relationship between earth and sky, roots and wings.

Even the name embodies the three essences of the project: the enchantment of wonder, the song of tradition and voices, and the wind that sweeps through the rows of vines and makes flight possible. “Cultivari sogni in volo” brings together, in the same way, the patient act of cultivation and the freedom of what can finally take flight.

The Incantaventu Pact

At the heart of Incantaventu lies, above all, a vision of community. Telefono Arcobaleno, which for thirty years has been dedicated to protecting and supporting children, youth, and foster care communities, brings its expertise in education and protection to the project. Tenute Navarra makes available its farmhouse in Butera—175 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and almond orchards—transforming the care of the land into a language of hospitality.

The Incantaventu Pact was born from the convergence of these two experiences: an alliance between those who protect children and those who care for the earth, designed to be renewed over the years.

“Incantaventu was born out of the desire to carry on a simple gesture that left a profound impression on us last year: opening the estates to children and young people, taking them among the vine rows, and sharing with them the rhythms of the land,” emphasizes Salvatore Navarra, Business Relationship Manager at Tenute Navarra. “ This year, that gesture becomes a Pledge. We want this day to return, to grow, and to become an annual event that reminds us that caring for the land and caring for people are, at their core, the same commitment. We are convinced that our work serves as a stimulus and a catalyst to mobilize our local community with the goal of growing this important social project.”

Not a fundraiser, nor a formal commitment, but a declaration of presence. The Book of the Pact will preserve over time the names of institutions, educators, local organizations, and individuals who simply choose to bear witness: “I was there.” Because, as the project reminds us, it takes a whole village to raise a child.

The Giant Kite and the Constellation of Sprouts

Incantaventu’s giant kite will bring this promise to life. Its string will pass from hand to hand among the children, carrying with it one of the wishes born during the previous experience under the stars of San Lorenzo. A simple gesture that encapsulates the meaning of the entire project: no dream should fly alone.

And while some things will take flight, others will return to the earth. At the end of the experience, each child will receive seeds from the estates to take home and plant in their host community. From Butera, a“sprouting constellation”will thus emerge—both symbolically and in reality—in various places throughout Sicily.

Because Incantaventu isn’t meant to be just another nice day. It aims to become a recurring tradition, leaving a mark, a memory, and something to pass on to future generations of children, year after year.

Every edition is a seed. Every wish is a flight. Every child is a promise of the future.

Tenute Navarra is a winery located in Butera, in the heart of the Sicilian hinterland. The estate spans approximately 175 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and almond groves, set in an agricultural landscape where production, respect for the environment, and tradition coexist with a strong culture of hospitality. The Navarra family views agriculture as an act of care for the land, people, and relationships.
