Magré – SUMMA 2026

April 11 - April 12

SUMMA 2026: International meeting of winemakers with 115 producers from nine countries between organic and biodynamic wine returns to the Alois Lageder Estate

On April 11 and 12, 2026, one of the most special and fascinating events in the European wine scene returns: SUMMA, the international meeting of winemakers hosted at the Alois Lageder Estate in Magrè on the Wine Road, South Tyrol.

Established over twenty-five years ago, SUMMA is not a wine fair in the traditional sense of the term, but a moment of authentic encounter between producers, professionals and enthusiasts, where dialogue and shared values are at the heart of the experience. In a cosy and informal setting, among the vineyards and historic spaces of the estate, the event offers the opportunity to meet winemakers directly and taste wines from some of the most interesting realities on the international scene.

A different fair, based on meeting

Since its inception, SUMMA has been envisioned as a place of exchange and inspiration. The event reflects the philosophy of the Alois Lageder Estate, a historic South Tyrolean winery that has been committed to organic and biodynamic viticulture for years.

The common thread uniting the producers present is precisely the sharing of values such as quality, sustainability, curiosity and the spirit of experimentation. Many of the participating companies work according to organic or biodynamic principles, or are engaged in a path of conversion to more environmentally friendly agricultural practices.

More than just a tasting, SUMMA is a place where wine becomes an opportunity for discussion: between different territories, between different production approaches, and between generations of winemakers.

115 winemakers from nine countries

For the 2026 edition, 115 winemakers from nine countries are expected, with a selection ranging from international icons to the most influential new voices in organic and biodynamic wine.

Key players include names such as Champagne Tarlant, Georg Breuer, Gravner and Dr. Bürklin-Wolf. Italy is strongly represented by cult producers such as Pian dell’Orino, Frank Cornelissen, Arianna Occhipinti and Giulia Negri – Serradenari, joined by great classics such as Château Musar from Lebanon. Realities such as Wittmann, Jurtschitsch and Ökonomierat Rebholz represent the dialogue between tradition and innovation, while producers such as Schödl, Kristinus and Otronia trace an international arc from Central Europe to Patagonia.

What makes SUMMA unique is precisely its size: not a large, dispersed event, but a deliberately collected event that encourages direct encounters with winemakers and in-depth discussions about wines.

Over the course of the two days, it will be possible to taste the labels of the featured wineries, participate in moments of dialogue, and enjoy an immersive experience in the heart of the South Tyrolean region, amid historic architecture, vineyards, and a strong wine culture.

For many industry professionals and advanced wine enthusiasts, SUMMA has for years been a must-attend event for discovering new interpretations of contemporary wine and meeting some of the most influential producers on the international scene.
