DESCRIPTION:A Sea of Leaves 2026 – National Bio Guide Presentation: a toast to the sustainability of Italian wine\nThe Organic Guide – Wine Selection is the only Italian guide entirely dedicated to wines from certified organic agriculture and in conversion. A well-established reference for wine professionals\, enthusiasts and wine lovers interested in sustainable and quality viticulture. Edited by Antonio Stanzione\, it is published by Rubbettino Editore. \nThe Guide was created with the aim of chronicling the Italian organic wine scene through rigorous selections\, blind tastings and scores ranging from 2 to 5 leaves. The prestigious Foglia d’Oro is awarded to labels that stand out for their elegance\, typicality and organoleptic quality. \nThe 2025 edition reviewed more than 2\,500 labels and involved more than 550 wineries. The seventh edition 2026 aims to further consolidate its role as a compass in the world of Italian green wine. \nThe national event “Un Mare di Foglie 2026” will be held on Saturday\, January 24\, 2026 in the prestigious setting of theHotel Villa Pamphili in Rome (via della Nocetta 105). The day will open with the official presentation of the Organic Guide 2026 to the press\, operators and the public\, accompanied by the “Golden Leaves” award ceremony; a moment of celebration in which the most representative wines and producers for quality\, typicality and consistency with organic values will be recognized. \nOne of the new features this year is the introduction of special awards dedicated to specific merits in the fields of innovation and sustainability. There will be categories such as Best Female Winery\, Best Winery North\, Central and South\, and Best Winemaker Under 40. The special awards reflect the growing focus on diversity\, inclusion and virtuous practices in the wine industry. \nIn the afternoon\, starting at 3 p.m.\, the tasting tables with all the award-winning wines selected in the Organic Guide 2026 will be open to the public. This is a unique opportunity to taste the best realities of Italian organic wine\, meet the producers and learn more about the stories\, territories and techniques that make these wines an expression of sustainability and respect for nature.

SUMMARY:Tortèl & Gropèl 2026 at El Zeremia Winery
DESCRIPTION:Tortèl & Gropèl 2026\, the authentic taste of Val di Non: \, every weekend until March 1 potato tortèl\, Groppello\, dedicated menus\, restaurants and masterclasses.\nUntil March 1\, 2026\, Val di Non celebrates one of its most beloved gastronomic rituals with Tortèl & Gropèl\, the food and wine festival dedicated to potato tortèl\, a symbol of conviviality in the valleys of the Noce River\, and Groppello\, an indigenous red wine that tells the area’s most authentic winemaking story. \nAn appointment that is renewed every weekend\, transforming restaurants\, agritourisms and wineries into meeting places where tradition\, taste and local identity meet at the table. \nAmong the most anticipated events on the calendar is a special masterclass on Saturday\, January 24\, at the El Zeremia Winery in Revò\, designed for those who want to discover the secrets of true homemade tortèl. \nPotato tortèl: the dish of conviviality\nTortèl is not only a gastronomic specialty\, but a true collective ritual. Served at the center of the table in large steaming trays\, it is accompanied by the symbolic products of the valley: cheeses from local dairies\, lucanica\, speck\, mortandela\, carne salada\, to the ever-present cabbage and borlotti bean salad. Each diner constructs his or her own dish\, making the moment of dinner a convivial\, informal experience deeply linked to local culture. \nGroppello\, the “heroic” wine of Val di Non\nNext to tortèl\, the star in the glass is Groppello\, a rare grape variety grown by only five families on steep\, terraced slopes overlooking Lake Santa Giustina. It is an elegant\, spicy wine with vibrant freshness\, capable of enhancing every mouthful and telling\, sip after sip\, the patient and courageous work of the valley’s winemakers. \nTortèl & Gropèl Menus.\nAll participating establishments offer a dedicated menu\, featuring potato cakes and local products\, enriched by personal interpretations: pokies\, sauerkraut\, peperonata\, homemade jams or traditional desserts. Many restaurants also offer gluten-free options\, always by reservation. \nThe review involves numerous restaurants and agritourisms in the Non Valley\, active on weekends or for selected periods. A complete and updated list of participating establishments is available on the official Visit Val di Non website. \nFor every Tortèl & Gropèl menu purchased\, guests receive a 10% discount voucher for the purchase of Groppello and other local wines at participating wineries\, valid until March 31\, 2026. \nTortèl & Gropèl Masterclass – El Zeremia Winery – Saturday\, January 24\, 2026\nThe masterclass on Saturday\, January 24\, 2026\, takes place at Cantina El Zeremia (Revò) and is a unique opportunity to learn how to prepare tortèi according to tradition. After a welcome toast\, the chef will guide participants step by step: from choosing the potatoes to grating\, from the dough to the perfect frying. At the end\, tasting of the tortèi prepared together\, accompanied by local meats and cheeses and a glass of Groppello wine. \n\nWhen: Saturday\, January 24\, 2026\nWhere: Cantina El Zeremia – Revò (Val di Non)\nTime: 4:30 pm\nDuration: about 2 hours\n\n\nParticipation in the masterclass is by reservation only\, with registration open until 5 p.m. the day before \nFull details about the Tortèl & Gropèl festival and upcoming events are available on the official website: www.visitvaldinon.it
