The event\, organized by the Consorzio Tutela Nebbioli Alto Piemonte in collaboration with AIS Milano\, will take place in the elegant spaces of theWestin Palace Hotel\, in the heart of the Lombard capital.  \nA day entirely dedicated to discovering the Nebbiolos of Alto Piemonte\, including tastings\, meetings with producers and in-depth moments designed for operators and enthusiasts. \nThe heart of the event: 10 denominations\, more than 33 companies\nTaste Alto Piemonte Milano represents a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the 10 appellations protected by the Consortium\, an expression of a territory that in recent years has regained centrality in the Italian wine scene thanks to the quality and strong identity of its wines. \nMore than 33 wineries will be present\, ready to talk about their work and present for tasting the latest vintages of the Alto Piemonte appellations\, including Gattinara\, Ghemme\, Lessona\, Bramaterra\, Boca\, Colline Novaresi\, Coste della Sesia and other territorial expressions related to Nebbiolo. \nThe tasting desk will allow direct discussions with producers\, offering the chance to explore different interpretations of Nebbiolo in a unique context of terroir\, altitude and soil composition. \nMasterclasses and insights\nAlongside the tasting counters\, the program includes thematic masterclasses designed to delve into specific appellations\, vintages or production aspects. DESCRIPTION:Barolo and Derthona go on stage in Milan – 5th edition: March 22 at Palazzo Bovara with producers\, tasting room and masterclasses.\nOn Sunday\, March 22\, 2026\, Milan will host the fifth edition of “Barolo and Derthona go on stage in Milan\,” a tasting dedicated to the great wines of Piedmont in the heart of the city. The event transforms Palazzo Bovara – Circolo del Commercio into a sensory journey through the excellence of the Langhe and Colli Tortonesi\, offering wine lovers and trade operators the opportunity to meet producers directly and taste dozens of prestigious labels.  \nPromoted by Strada del Barolo e grandi vini di Langa and Terre Derthona – Strada del Vino e dei Sapori dei Colli Tortonesi\, with the support of Consorzio Tutela Vini Colli Tortonesi\, I Vini del Piemonte\, Confcommercio Milano and with the collaboration of Go Wine\, the event offers a focus of the highest quality on two of Piedmont’s iconic appellations: Barolo DOCG and Timorasso Derthona DOC. \nTastings between Langhe and Colli Tortonesi\nThe east wing of Palazzo Bovara will be transformed into a true tasting path where the producers present will offer their interpretations of Barolo and Derthona\, with a wide selection of different crus and vintages to be tasted directly at the counters set up in the rooms. \nThe Langhe is world famous for Barolo DOCG\, one of Italy’s most iconic and structured reds. In parallel\, the Colli Tortonesi are making a name for themselves with Timorasso Derthona DOC\, a white wine of great character and territorial identity.
