SUMMARY:Milan Wine Week 2026
DESCRIPTION:Milan Wine Week 2026: From October 17 to 25\, wine takes center stage in the city once again with tastings\, masterclasses\, events\, and experiences throughout the city\nFrom October 17 to 25\, 2026\, Milano Wine Week returns to Milan\, an event that takes wine beyond traditional trade show settings to transform the city into a vast\, citywide journey of tastings\, events\, and experiences. \nThe format brings together companies\, local communities\, professionals\, enthusiasts\, and new audiences through events held at various locations throughout the city. The stated goal for 2026 is to showcase wine through contemporary forms of expression and ways of experiencing it\, while also engaging those who are curious about the world of wine. \nThe MWW Wine Bar\nThe Milan Wine Week Enoteca will once again be one of the highlights of the event in 2026. The tasting area will be open to the public for all nine days of the event. \nHere\, you’ll be able to discover hundreds of wines from wineries across Italy\, including white\, red\, and rosé wines\, as well as still and sparkling wines. The tasting will be organized using a card that allows you to customize your own tasting journey\, with the assistance of certified sommeliers and WineEmotion automated pouring systems. \nHowever\, the Enoteca won’t just be a place for tastings: the program also includes events where visitors can meet producers and experts\, as well as opportunities for in-depth exploration. \nWine-Filled Milan\nMilan Wine Week will also involve numerous bars\, wine shops\, restaurants\, and stores throughout the city\, which are invited to offer wine-themed activities and events throughout the week. \nThis format allows visitors to experience the event as they explore the city. Everyone can create their own itinerary\, taking in tastings\, events\, and activities in the various neighborhoods and participating venues. The calendar of events in the city is updated regularly on the official website. \nMasterclasses\, Experiences\, and Events\nIn addition to tastings\, MWW 2026 will feature masterclasses\, immersive events\, meetings\, and in-depth activities aimed at both enthusiasts and industry professionals. \nThe full schedule of masterclasses is currently being updated on the event’s official page. \nThe International Project\nThe event’s professional and international scope will also be enhanced through the Incoming project supported by ICE – Agenzia\, which will bring a delegation of international buyers\, sommeliers\, and opinion leaders to Milan. \nThe initiative aims to facilitate the connection between Italian wine and international markets\, strengthening the business component of Milan Wine Week alongside its public-facing aspect. \nThe MWW Awards\nAmong this week’s events\, the MWW Awards will also return—awards dedicated to recognizing the quality of wine selections in the restaurant and retail sectors. \nSeveral categories are planned for 2026. These include the Carte Vini Italia Award\, the Wine Retail Italia Award\, and the Best Italian Wine Selection\, dedicated to the best selections of Italian wine abroad. A new category has also been announced: the Wine Communication Award\, dedicated to those who excel in communication and storytelling within the wine sector\, with a particular focus on the digital and social media spheres.

On October 18 and November 8\, two groups of 30 Italian and European producers will take part in tastings and one-on-one meetings\nTwo dates\, 60 Italian and European winemakers\, and a different lineup for each event\, with 30 winemakers participating on October 18 and another 30on November 8. VinNatur – Associazione Viticoltori Naturali\, chaired by Angiolino Maule\, is coming to the Tempio del Futuro Perduto in Milan with a format that spreads the producers over two days to allow more time for tastings and direct interaction with visitors. \nThe choice of Milan stems from the association’s desire to reach a diverse audience—ranging from enthusiasts to the press to restaurant professionals—and to create new opportunities for dialogue around natural wine. “The capital of Lombardy represents a new opportunity to meet people and organizations we haven’t yet had the chance to reach\,” explains Angiolino Maule\, President of VinNatur. “For us\, this is the most important value of an event\, in keeping with the motto ‘Small is Beautiful’: being able to share the work that goes into every bottle and the core values of our association\,” he adds. \nProgram\nOn Sunday\, October 18\, producers from Campania\, Emilia-Romagna\, Friuli-Venezia Giulia\, Liguria\, Lombardy\, Marche\, Molise\, Piedmont\, Sicily\, Tuscany\, Umbria\, and Veneto will be in attendance\, along with a producer from Franconia\, Germany. \nOn Sunday\, November 8\, the lineup will change completely: winemakers from Abruzzo\, Basilicata\, Campania\, Emilia-Romagna\, Friuli-Venezia Giulia\, Lazio\, Lombardy\, Piedmont\, Apulia\, Sardinia\, Sicily\, Tuscany\, Umbria\, and Veneto\, along with a winemaker from Catalonia\, Spain. \nRounding out the event isa food area featuring offerings from the Tempio del Futuro Perduto bar—including vegan and gluten-free options—as well as food trucks BaoMi\, serving Taiwanese street food\, and El Gordito\, which will bring Argentine empanadas. \nAs with the other events organized throughout the year\, the proceeds from this event will go toward supporting the Association’s research projects and\, on this occasion\, will provide concrete support for the activities of the Tempio del Futuro Perduto\, which hosts VinNatur Milano. \nOriginally housed in a former tram depot\, the Tempio is now a cultural center dedicated to promoting social and cultural initiatives for the community. VinNatur’s contribution will help purchase new furnishings\, with the goal of making the Tempio’s spaces even more functional and welcoming. \nVinNatur Milan at a Glance\n\nWhen: Sunday\, October 18\, and Sunday\, November 8\nWhere: Tempio del Futuro Perduto | Via Luigi Nono\, 7 – Milan\nOpening hours for the press and industry professionals: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.\nOpening hours for the general public: 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM\nTickets can only be purchased on-site at the event entrance.
