DESCRIPTION:Mangialonga 2026 returns with one of Italy’s most famous food-and-wine walks\, an event that for nearly forty years has celebrated the perfect blend of scenery\, traditional cuisine\, and the great wines of the Langhe.\nLa Mangialonga\nNow in its 38th edition\, the event will take place on Sunday\, August 30\, 2026\, in La Morra\, one of the iconic villages of the UNESCO World Heritage Site\, offering participants the opportunity to enjoy an authentic experience amid vineyards\, rolling hills\, and local flavors. \nThe Mangialonga is not a sports competition\, but a non-competitive food-and-wine walk designed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace\, letting yourself be guided by the beauty of the landscape and the region’s culinary delights. \nThe route\, approximately 4 kilometers long\, winds through the picturesque vineyards surrounding La Morra and takes participants along a path dotted with numerous tasting stops. At each stop\, guests are treated to dishes inspired by the culinary traditions of the Langhe\, prepared with local ingredients and paired with a selection of wines from local wineries\, offering a sensory journey that showcases the food and wine heritage of one of Italy’s most prestigious wine-growing regions.  \nThe atmosphere is one of the event’s defining features. The day is all about camaraderie\, discovery\, and the pleasure of sharing good food—without rushing\, and surrounded by scenery of extraordinary beauty. The event’s format alternates between walking and stops for tastings\, transforming the route into an opportunity to experience the culinary and wine culture of the Langhe up close. Even in the event of inclement weather\, the event will proceed as scheduled.    \nThe 38th edition of the Mangialonga\nThe 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday\, August 30\, starting from La Morra\, in the province of Cuneo. At this time\, the organizers have not yet announced the start times\, which will be communicated to registered participants closer to the event\, along with practical information regarding registration and the day’s schedule.  \nParticipation is reserved for registered attendees and requires advance registration through the event’s official website. For 2026\, the participation fee is set at 60 euros for adults and 25 euros for youth ages 9 to 17\, while children 8 and under participate for free.
