DESCRIPTION:Sicily and Sardinia Wines and Terroirs of the Great Italian Islands. Go Wine event in Rome\, focus on Sicily and Sardinia\, native grape varieties\, selected wineries. \nOn Monday\, February 9\, 2026\, Rome will host the first Go Wine in Hotel event of the year\, dedicated this time to the viticulture of the great Italian islands: Sicily and Sardinia.\nThe chosen location is the Starhotels Metropole\, just a short walk from Termini Station\, which will host an evening of tasting and in-depth discussion aimed at wine enthusiasts\, Go Wine members and industry professionals. \nThe theme of the evening\nThe event was created with the aim of enhancing two key territories of Italian oenography\, linked by a millennial history of viticulture\, native varieties of great identity and unique landscapes.Sicily and Sardinia tell their stories through their wines\, capable of expressing profoundly different characters but united by a strong territorial imprint\, between sea\, wind and tradition. \nParticipating wineries represent different areas of production in the two islands and meet the public both at the tasting counter and in the thematic wine libraries set up in the hall\, offering a wide-ranging tasting experience. \nProgram and tasting rounds\nOn Monday\, February 9\, 2026 \, to ensure optimal enjoyment of the event\, access is by reservation only\, with tastings divided into shifts. \n🕔 17:00 – 18:30: Preview operatorsTasting reserved for qualified professional operators (wine and food journalists\, wine shops\, restaurants\, wine bars).
