SUMMARY:Rome - Autoctono si nasce
DESCRIPTION:Cool… I didn’t know that! The opening date of the “Tour Autoctono si nasce” in Romeis Tuesday\, September 22\, at the Grand Hotel Palatino.\n\nGo Wine is resuming its series of events at hotels in Rome after the summer break with its traditional September event\, which is entirely dedicated to indigenous Italian grape varieties. \nOn Tuesday \, September 22 \, in the halls of the Grand Hotel Palatino\, located at Via Cavour 213/M\, a selection of wineries will meet the public face-to-face\, sharing stories about their wines\, regions\, and companies.>Other producers will be represented through a special “Enoteca degli Autoctoni\,” which will round out the tasting experience and further expand the range of varieties featured. \nA Journey Through the Biodiversity of Italian Vineyards\, Glass in Hand\nThe event will focus on the extraordinary richness of Italian vineyards\, which are home to hundreds of grape varieties linked to the history\, culture\, and identity of different regions\, from the north to the south of the country. \nVisitors will have the opportunity to learn about and taste an impressive selection of wines made from over 70 native grape varieties. These include both well-established varieties and rarer ones\, some of which are grown in limited areas or have been revived thanks to the efforts of small-scale producers. \nA journey through different colors\, aromas\, and styles\, designed to give voice to grape varieties that reflect specific terroirs and represent one of the most unique and precious aspects of Italian wine heritage. \nThe initiative is part of the cultural project “Autoctono si nasce…”. It was launched years ago by Go Wine through the book of the same name published by Go Wine Editore\, and continues the Association’s longstanding commitment to promoting awareness and appreciation of local wines. \nAn evening for industry professionals\, Go Wine members\, and wine enthusiasts to taste wines\, meet producers\, and discover the many different identities that coexist in the Italian wine industry. \nProgram\, schedule\, and booking information:\nThe event is open to Go Wine members\, supporters\, and industry professionals. \n The list of wineries participating in the tastingis now online at \n.
