SUMMARY:Rome - Cantine d’Italia- Guide for the wine tourist
DESCRIPTION:Presentation of Guida Cantine d’Italia 2025 in Rome\, presentation of special awards and tasting of Top Wines from the wineries honored in the Guide.\nGuida Cantine d’Italia 2025\nThe Guide Cantine d’Italia 2025 published by Go Wine Editore and dedicated to wineries that are “worth the trip\,” invites the reader to travel to the places of wine\, that is\, to the wineries. Wine is first of all history of people\, places\, animates the social life of many territories. Almost always behind a great wine there is an important project\, there are quality people. \nCantine d’Italia tries to give voice to all this: we reach the wines through the story\, to get to the winery and know something more about the protagonists we wish to meet… For each winery\, a page full of news: from the company’s biography to production data\, to the internal contacts to contact; from the days and times to visit\, to the main wines to know. \nMore than 830 Italian wineries reviewed\, interviews with men and women of wine\, events to experience and the wines to taste\, places to stay and where to eat in all regions of Italy for an increasingly indispensable guide for the wine tourist. \nNew: a special feature on indigenous trails and wine museums \nOfficial presentation of the Guide Cantine d’Italia\nCantine d’Italia 2025\, the Guide for Wine Tourists\, will be presented at the Hotel Palatino in Rome on March 04\, with an evening of promotion and tasting.\nAn important evening for the Go Wine Association\, an opportunity to reintroduce the Guide theme towards spring\, dialoguing about itineraries and tourism to discover wineries and territories. \nAt the presentation\, a group of wineries selected on the volume\, expressions of different territories\, each carrying an important story and interesting wines to taste and comment on. Men and women of wine who have made meeting the wine tourist an important part of their business philosophy. \nThe event is aimed at Go Wine members\, enthusiasts and industry professionals. \nFor event information: www.gowinet.it/evento/cantine-ditalia

SUMMARY:Rome - Guida al Bere Rosa
DESCRIPTION:Rosa Rosati Rosé – Guida al Bere Rosa: on March 1 in Rome the national presentation to the press and producers of the 7th edition of the guide by Renato Rovetta\nRosa Rosati Rosé – la Guida al Bere Rosa\nThe Guida al Bere Rosa is a guide dedicated exclusively to pink wines including still\, sparkling\, Martinotti Method and Metodo Classico. A panel of judges from all over Italy selected the best among the pink wines offered from Alto Adige to Sicily\, passing through Tuscany\, Lazio\, and all the Italian regions\, awarding the different certificates: the Quattro Rose\, La Rosa d’Oro\, and the Gran Menzione. In the 2025 edition\, the Golden Roses and Grand Mentions have increased\, certifying the excellent quality and in many cases the excellence of many labels. Alongside the best labels appear in the guide the recipes related to Pink Wines presented by chefs and restaurateurs in their Wine List. The Pink\, Rosé and Rosé Guide is edited by Renato Rovetta\, expert taster and director of Sommelierfriend\, radio speaker\, and founder of the web radio Music & Wine. \nPink wines\nThe guide’s team of tasters are discovering year by year an increasing number of Rosé wines from every region of the Peninsula and from European countries worthy of praise Several regions of the Peninsula have in fact discovered that there are many indigenous grape varieties that lend themselves splendidly to the so-called “rose winemaking” both in terms of still wines and bubbles. Of course\, we are talking about a niche market\, but one that from year to year is giving great satisfaction especially to producers. \nThe presentation of the guide\nLa Guida al Bere Rosa 2025\, Rosa Rosati Rosé returns for the second year to Rome with a major event\, March 1\, 2025 at Domus Magnanimi on the Appia Antica\, near the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella. The event is dedicated to the public of wine lovers\, operators\, sommeliers and the press. Hundreds of labels from all over Italy will be tasted\, all Pink Wines from the companies in the guide. Also scheduled are masterclasses on autochthonous pink wines. The Guide\, from this year will be more “green” with the possibility to print a QR Code and examine online the small volume dedicated to Rosé wines at any time and on all devices. \nUseful information:\nMore details on the www.rosarosatirose.eu/ \nFor Press accreditations send an email to accrediti@decanterwineacademy.org

SUMMARY:Rome - Plan Hunt at Jackie O' Wine Club
DESCRIPTION:Jackie O’ Wine Club\, Caccia al Piano wines star in an evening tasting at one of Rome’s most exclusive wineclubs\, Wednesday\, Feb. 19\, 2025\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Jackie O’ Wine Club:\n\n\n\n\n\nLocated in the beating heart of Rome\, the Jackie O’ is more than just a club-it’s an icon of style and entertainment that has embodied the timeless sophistication of Rome’s Dolce Vita since 1972. This exclusive destination welcomes guests in a refined atmosphere with impeccable service\, perfect for a memorable evening. A true Oasis of Elegance and Entertainment in the Heart of Rome. \n\n\nThe Jackie O’ restaurant\, overseen by chef Federico Sparaco\, offers traditional cuisine that combines the best of Italian culinary traditions with a contemporary twist. Each dish is prepared with fresh and selected ingredients\, ensuring an unparalleled dining experience that stimulates the senses. In this unique setting\, on Wednesday evenings Jackie O’ WineClub opens its doors to exclusive events featuring top wineries\, welcomed and presented by Chiara Giannotti \n\n\n\nHunting the Plan:\nTenuta Caccia al Piano is nestled in the enchanting Bolgheri area\, where the perfect combination of Mediterranean microclimate and clay-limestone soils gives the ideal terroir for great wines. Here\, along the picturesque Via Bolgherese\, which runs between vineyards and olive trees\, winemaker Franco Ziliani has begun a new adventure dedicating himself to the production of wines that leave their mark. Franco Ziliani\, owner of Guido Berlucchi\, pioneered the birth of Metodo Classico in Franciacorta in the 1960s. In the early 2000s\, he decided to bet on an emerging territory like Bolgheri in Tuscany with the goal of making great red wines. The desire to patiently understand the Bolgheri terroir\, respecting what has already been done by the great protagonists who have made the wine of these lands famous\, has guided Franco Ziliani’s work from the beginning\, now carried on by his children Cristina\, Arturo and Paolo. The estate is located in Castagneto Carducci in the hamlet of Bolgheri and was created from the renovation of an ancient hunting estate owned by the noble Della Gherardesca family\, dating from 1868. The farmhouse\, thanks to a careful work of redevelopment in full respect of the surrounding territory\, has been expanded and transformed into the current headquarters of the winery. \nThe Vineyards of Caccia al Piano:\nThe spark\, which culminated in the purchase of the Caccia al Piano Estate in 2003\, was sparked after visiting the San Biagio vineyard\, a wonderful area that enjoys a privileged position in the Bolgheri area and a fascinating view of the sea. At 12 hectares\, San Biagio is the estate’s largest vineyard. Lying 180 meters above sea level\, it is planted in a “humpback” shape on the ridge of the hill overlooking the two slopes with a southeast and southwest exposure. Divided into 7 plots\, it has very heterogeneous soils with a clay and limestone texture rich in skeleton. Constant ventilation and solar reflection from the sea give the grapes perfect healthiness. Over the years the winery spreads to other extraodinary soils. First we find Grottine\, with an extension of 5 hectares and an East-West orientation\, with a characteristic red-colored soil\, optimal for growing Merlot. Next comes Cantina\, a 3-hectare plot where Petit Verdot vines are grown\, with an East-West orientation\, and Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc\, towards the North-South. Finally Le Bozze\, 3 hectares characterized by a flat profile in the lower parts near the sea\, ideal for white grapes such as Vermentino and Suvignon Blanc. \nJackie O’ Wine Club’s schedule for Wednesday\, Feb. 19\nChiara Giannotti will present the evening. With her will be Francesco Lippini\, marketing manager of Tenuta Caccia al Piano. \, supported by the venue’s sommelier Manuel Pompili. Together they will lead you to discover the extraordinary Bolgheri terroir. They will be tasting four exceptional wines paired with the menu created for the occasion by Chef Federico Sparaco of Jackie O’. \n\n\nThe appointment is for Wednesday\, Feb. 19 from 8 to 10 p.m. \nIn tasting \n\nCaP Rosè Metodo Classico Extra Brut 2022 with low temperature veal tonnato with Pantelleria capers\nLungocosta Bolgheri Bianco Doc 2022 paired with rosemary potato millefeuille on Jerusalem artichoke cream and San Daniele petals\nRuit Hora Bolgheri Rosso Doc 2022 accompanied by orecchiette cacio e pepe with Sicilian broccoli cream\nCaccia al Piano Bolgheri Superiore Docg 2021withterrine of coda alla vaccinara with crispy celery\n\nUseful information:\nPlaces are limited. SUMMARY:Nebbiolo Nel Cuore X - Rome

Ten years of enhancing Nebbiolo through its prestigious territories of choice. Through dedicated tasting tables and masterclasses\, once again we will be able to discover the potential of the new vintages that will be presented and new wineries that will participate in the event for the first time – declares Marco Cum\, owner of Riserva Grande and creator and patron of Nebbiolo nel Cuore. – As always\, didactics will be prevalent\, with extraordinary master classes aimed at recounting the absolute richness of these lands. Culture\, faces\, smiles\, traditions\, life experiences\, stories\, emotions-this is Nebbiolo in the Heart. \nThe Italian wine territory is a treasure trove of varieties\, each linked to its characteristic terroirs\, all the more so when it comes to Nebbiolo. Through this event\, it is intended to emphasize theimportance of enhancing and preserving the diversity of the wine heritage of this extraordinary grape\, which the whole world envies us. \nMasterclasses and tasting tables will be the beating heart of this enhancement\, made to deepen and appreciate the different territorial nuances of Nebbiolo. \nThe previous edition welcomed more than 2\,000 participants\, a passionate community of operators and Nebbiolo lovers who made the event a unique experience. \nNebbiolo territories present at the event\nAs in previous editions\, the tenth Nebbiolo nel Cuore will give visitors the opportunity to take a journey through the lands where the noble grape variety expresses itself in all its different and fascinating nuances. \nFrom Roero to Barbaresco and Barolo; from Gattinara and Ghemme to Boca and Lessona; from Bramaterra and Fara to Sizzano\, to the Ossola Valleys; from the Novara Hills to the Coste della Sesia; from Valle D’Aosta to Valtellina\, to Monferrato\, Carema and Canavese; and to the other micro realities in which it is valued in our territory\, including the small but striking production of Sardinia. \nThis year\, as a first\, we are pleased to announce that a company from Serbia will also be present.
