DESCRIPTION:Cantine Aperte In Vendemmia 2025 (Open Cellars In Harvest) \, MTV’s event returns to celebrate the highlight of the wine year \nSeptember and October in Italy have an unmistakable scent: that of freshly harvested grapes and fermenting must. Cantine Aperte in Vendemmia 2025\, organized by the Wine Tourism Movement\, is the perfect opportunity to experience the most exciting time of the wine year up close. \nThis is not just a simple tasting. Cantine Aperte In Vendemmia is a journey through vineyards laden with grapes\, wineries in ferment and territories that\, precisely in autumn\, show themselves in their most authentic guise. You can witness the magic of the harvest\, learn the secrets of winemaking\, meet winemakers and listen to stories rooted in tradition. \nParticipating wineries will open their doors in all Italian regions\, offering guided tours\, tastings of wines and local specialties\, and walks among the rows. There will be no shortage of festive moments with live music\, performances and cultural activities. In many realities it will be possible to participate in simulated grape harvests or educational workshops\, also perfect for families. \nFor wine tourism enthusiasts\, it is an opportunity to discover different territories\, from Piedmont to Sicily\, and live an experience that combines education\, conviviality and discovery. The atmosphere one breathes is that of a widespread celebration: each winery interprets the event in its own way\, but all share the same passion for wine and the desire to tell its story. \nThe 2025 edition will run throughout September and October\, with a continuously updated calendar: exact dates\, activities and participating wineries will soon be available on the Wine Tourism Movement’s official page. \nIf you love wine and its culture\, Cantine Aperte in Vendemmia is an appointment to mark in your calendar: an opportunity to connect with the land\, experience autumn in an intense way and take home not only fine bottles\, but also memories and encounters that will remain in time. \nThe detailed program is still being finalized\, but the event will extend throughout September and October throughout Italy. SUMMARY:Conference Abbey Wines in Franciacorta
DESCRIPTION:Conference Abbey Wines in Franciacorta: “Wine culture and the identity of territories: the work of abbeys. Tradition\, spirituality and winemaking innovation between past\, present and future. \nThe Vittorio and Mariella Moretti Foundation will host\, at the evocative Convent of Santissima Annunciata in Franciacorta\, the conference “Wine culture and the identity of territories: the work of abbeys\,” organized by Abbey Wines and scheduled for Saturday\, October 4\, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. \nThe appointment promises to be a moment of professional discussion on the theme of the link between wine culture and territory\, focusing on the historical and contemporary role of abbeys in the enhancement of the landscape\, the dissemination of agricultural knowledge and the custody of the spirit of places. Tradition\, spirituality and innovation will be the keys to interpreting a day that intends to restore value to a shared heritage deeply rooted in Italian history and\, in particular\, in that of the Franciacorta territory\, which owes its orientation to a viticulture of excellence precisely to the work of the abbeys. \nThe Convent of the Most Holy Annunciation\nThe choice of the Convent of the Santissima Annunciata as the venue for the conference is deeply symbolic: a place of great historical\, spiritual and architectural value\, since 2018 it has been entrusted by the Order of the Servants of Mary to the Vittorio and Mariella Moretti Foundation\, which has taken on the commitment to take care of its management and return it to the community as a center of culture and hospitality. As stated by Carlo Petrini\, who participated in the formalization of the delegation by the Friars to the VMM Foundation: ” The Convent of the Santissima Annunciata is to be a place of community\, a space where the beautiful and the good coincide. A common good returned to the area through the vision and generosity of those who care for it “. \nSpeakers\nThe conference will feature speakers from the monastic\, academic and business worlds including: \n\nVittorio Moretti\, President of the Vittorio and Mariella Moretti Foundation\nRenzo Cotarella\, CEO of Marchesi Antinori and production manager of Badia a Passignano [Florence].\nAttilio Scienza\, Professor of Viticulture\, University of Milan\nDon Andrea Santus\, Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore [Siena].\nFather Stefano Visintin\, Praglia Abbey [Padua].\nWerner Waldboth\, Director of Sales & Marketing Abbey of Novacella [Bolzano].\nManfred Bernard\, winemaker in charge of the winery at the Benedictine Convent of Muri-Gries [Bolzano].\nFather Luigi Cavagna\, Franciscan Convent Rodengo Saiano [Brescia]\, Rector Academy Symposium\nBrother Michele Badino\, Monastery of Bose [Assisi].\n\nKey institutional authorities will also be involved: the Minister of Agriculture\, the Regional Minister of Agriculture\, the Mayors of Franciacorta\, representatives of Coldiretti\, AIS Lombardia\, Consorzio della Franciacorta and Strada del Vino della Franciacorta. Rocco Tolfa\, RAI journalist\, will coordinate the conference. \nTasting of a selection of Abbey wines\nAt the end of the meeting it will be possible to taste a selection of wines from the abbeys present through tasting benches curated by Ais Lombardia. An opportunity to discover ancient winemaking traditions and meet those who still preserve them today. \nHow to participate\nThe conference is free admission\, by reservation only and subject to availability. Information and detailed program are available at https://vinidabbazia.com/la-cultura-del-vino-e-lidentita-dei-territori-lopera-delle-abbazie/ \nThe initiative is part of the busy program of events organized on the same day by the Vittorio and Mariella Moretti Foundation. An open day – from 8 a.m. until midnight – at the Convento dell’Annunciata entitled “Come in famiglia\,” to be together among nature trails\, workshops\, readings and meetings. To give back to this ancient place its dimension of a living and open space\, where culture\, nature\, spirituality and sense of community can intertwine in an authentic way. The event has received the patronage of the Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza\, created with the aim of promoting initiatives that “focus on the value of beauty\, Italy’s true talent.” \nProgram of the day at www.fvmm.it

SUMMARY:Scents of Must
DESCRIPTION:The Valtènesi Consortium celebrates the grape harvest with the 24th edition of Profumi di Mosto\, a journey to discover a unique territory among winery visits\, flavors and landscapes\nThe Valtènesi Consortium\nThe guardian of authentic rosé in Italy\, the Valtènesi Consortium represents one of the most identifiable and refined expressions of our wine scene. Set in the DOC Riviera del Garda Classico\, this sub-area boasts a centuries-old tradition that began in 1896 with Senator Molmenti\, who first codified the rosé technique. Here\, between lake and hills\, wine is culture\, identity and aesthetic research. Thanks to the unique microclimate of Lake Garda\, the Valtènesi is the northernmost area in Europe where olives and lemons grow. Since 2010 the subzone has been officially recognized\, consecrating its role as the home of authentic rosé. Today the consortium brings together 102 producers\, mostly independent winemakers\, custodians of a short and sustainable supply chain\, who preserve the gentle\, pioneering vision of their origins every day. \nThe 24th edition of Scents of Must\nGreat expectations are high for the 24th edition of Profumi di Mosto\, the widespread event celebrating the grape harvest through a unique itinerary among wines\, flavors and landscapes in Valtènesi. A journey on the Brescia side of Lake Garda among twenty-five wineries that will open their doors. A journey then to discover an extraordinary territory\, where the Mediterranean microclimate meets hills and villages suspended between lake and sky. On the hills between Desenzano and San Felice del Benaco\, through the inland municipalities (Calvagese\, Bedizzole and Puegnago) and the coastal ones (Moniga\, Manerba and Padenghe)\, guests will be taken on an experiential tour to discover the wines produced mainly with the native Groppello and Tuchì grape varieties. \nAt each winery\, participants will find three wines for tasting\, paired with a gastronomic sample designed to enhance their aromas and identity. It will be possible to freely construct one’s own itinerary or be guided by one of the three-stage thematic tours\, designed to tell the story of the different souls of Valtènesi\, from the views of the lake to the hills of the hinterland. Nine tours\, each with unique features reflecting the identities of the wineries. \nOct. 19 special day at the House of Wine\nThe 2025 edition also reserves an exclusive appointment. Those who buy a ticket for 2 wineries or a three-stage tour will have access to the special day on October 19 at the Casa del Vino\, where all the labels of the Valtènesi appellation will be on tasting. A unique opportunity to learn more about the wines that best tell the story\, memory and identity of this noble and profound land. \nParticipating in Profumi di Mosto means having an authentic sensory experience. The scents of must and wine blend with the flavors of gastronomic tradition\, in the unique atmosphere of the grape harvest among hills and glimpses of Lake Garda. It is an invitation to slow tourism\, a relaxed journey from winery to winery that allows you to discover unique villages and landscapes. But it is above all an opportunity to connect with a territory. Not just tastings\, but direct meetings with producers\, exchange of stories and values\, discovery of typical products and authentic hospitality. \nHow it works:\n\nOn Sunday\, October 5\, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.\, pow you can choose how many wineries to visit or which 3-winery tour to participate in. \nFor each individual participant\, reservations are required no later than 04 October 2025 \n\nReservations are already open and all information is available on the official website www.profumidimosto.it \n

Nearly 90 producers from the Lands of Pisa will welcome you to their stands. It will be a unique opportunity to discover\, taste and buy local products of the highest quality\, the result of work rooted in the traditions of the Pisa countryside. The producers themselves will be on hand to tell you about the value of their efforts\, their meticulous care in creating genuine\, healthy and sustainable products\, guiding you on a journey of discovery of their excellence. \nIn addition to the market exhibition\, the event will be enriched by a vibrant program of events\, guided tastings\, talks\, master classes and meetings. It will be the perfect opportunity to delve into traditions related to ancient flavors\, acquire new skills and satisfy every curiosity about the world of food and wine. \nFrom extra virgin olive oil to artisan cheeses\, from the renowned Terre di Pisa Doc Wine to innovative craft beers\, and much more: at Terre di Pisa Food&Wine Festival you will find a wide range of products that make this area unique. \nAn experience that can continue in the Lands of Pisa\, which have their fulcrum in the city of Pisa that stretch across a rich landscape characterized by rolling Tuscan hills\, ancient villages\, the sea\, parks and nature reserves\, where art\, history\, food and wine\, crafts\, nature and landscapes have been intertwined since Etruscan times and show a still authentic Tuscany. \nUseful information\nThe Lands of Pisa are easily accessible thanks to convenient road and rail connections\, and even for those traveling by air thanks to Pisa’s Galilei International Airport. \nDon’t miss it! From October 17 to 19\, Pisa awaits you to celebrate taste\, tradition and innovation and continue with the discovery of the Terre di Pisa territory. \nFind all the details at www.pisafoodwinefestival.it

For two days\, the beautiful Villa Mirra will become the place to discover the many facets of Lombard bubbles. \nOn Saturday\, October 25 and Sunday\, October 26\, the doors of the historic Villa Mirra in Cavriana will open for the third and highly anticipated edition of Colline in Bolle\, the Review dedicated to the best Metodo Classico wines of Lombardy\, organized by Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori Mantovani and ONAV Lombardia\, in collaboration with the Municipality of Cavriana. The in-depth study of this increasingly prominent type of wine is intended to be a special example of solidarity and awareness raising.
