SUMMARY:Calvisano - Wine In-dependent 2026
DESCRIPTION:Wine In-dependent 2026 – Sunday\, Jan. 11 in Calvisano (BS)\, tasting booths\, natural wines from independent winemakers\, direct purchase and artisanal products.\nIn the heart of Italy’s wine winter\, Vino In-dependente 2026 returns. The fair-market is dedicated to artisanal and natural wines that favor the integrity of the terroir and a respectful approach to the vine\, natural cycles and the environment. The event takes place on Sunday\, January 11\, 2026 at the Beata Cristina Multipurpose Hall in Calvisano\, in the province of Brescia. Opening hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. \nVino In-dependente was born from the passion of Stefano Belli\, a sommelier and great promoter of natural wines\, with the intention of enhancing the work of winemakers who operate with as little intervention as possible\, both in the vineyard and in the cellar\, avoiding chemical additives and invasive practices to instead enhance the expression of the terroir and the vintage. \nThe centerpiece of the event is the exhibition-market with tasting counters open to the public. Each participant can freely taste the wines offered by the winemakers present and\, if desired\, purchase directly from the producers. The entrance ticket includes the official glass of the event and unlimited tasting throughout the day\, and can be purchased on site. Admission is restricted to those over 18 years of age. \nThe exhibition proposal embraces a range of natural wines from different Italian regions. The producers share a philosophy of sustainable\, artisanal and ecosystem-conscious viticulture. This makes the event not just a tasting\, but an opportunity to meet the protagonists of an ethical wine movement and hear their stories of passion\, toil and research. \nIn addition to wines\, the event often hosts artisanal food producers and gastronomic products related to local culture\, making the tasting experience even richer and more complete. The format of Vino In-dependente is perfect for wine lovers\, operators\, retailers and the simply curious who want to delve into the world of natural wines\, engage with producers and discover new expressions of grape varieties and terroirs.

DESCRIPTION:NOT – Vini Franchi 2026\,the great exhibition of natural and artisanal wines in Palermo\, including tastings\, meetings and natural wine culture.\nNOT – Vini Franchi is the exhibition dedicated to natural and artisanal wines that focuses on the figure of the independent winemaker and the production principle that inspires the very name of the event: frank\, meaning free from excessive intervention in the vineyard and cellar. The format’s historic pay-off – Do Not Modify\, Do Not Interfere – summarizes the philosophy of frank wines\, where the role of grapes\, terroir and natural conditions is authentically expressed in the glass. \nThe festival is spread over two intense days of tastings\, meetings and insights. \nThe first day is open to wine lovers\, enthusiasts and the general public with the classic walk-around tasting at the tasting tables. Here it is possible to meet producers\, taste natural wines from all over Italy (and abroad)\, and discover new realities of artisanal wine. It is also possible to engage with those who actually work in the vineyard and cellar according to practices that respect nature. \nThe second day is dedicated to industry professionals\, with access reserved for restaurateurs\, wine merchants\, buyers and journalists. More technical discussions\, one-on-one meetings with producers and targeted insights into natural wine trends and market opportunities are developed during this professional phase. \nComplementing the program are side events\, thematic seminars and convivial moments – in venues and partner venues around the city – known as NOT OFF. The side events expand the experience beyond just the tasting room\, touching on aspects of gastronomic culture\, territory and conviviality related to natural wine. \nParticipating in NOT – Vini Franchi means immersing yourself in the universe of authentic wine\, giving space to labels capable of telling the story of their terroir and their winemaker\, and discovering how the artisanal\, non-interventionist approach is redefining the sensibility of winelovers and professionals alike. \nUseful Information:\nDates: \n\nJanuary 15 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.\nJanuary 16 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.\n\nLocation: Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa\, PalermoFor tickets and accreditation\, visit NOT – Vini Franchi

SUMMARY:Breganze - La Prima del Torcolato 2026
DESCRIPTION:La Prima del Torcolato 2026: in Breganze\, the ritual celebrating identity\, tradition and the new vintage\nOn Sunday\, January 18\, 2026\, Breganze renews one of its most identifiable events with the 31st edition of the Prima del Torcolato\, the event that celebrates the symbolic moment of birth of the new vintage of Torcolato D.O.C. Breganze\, through the traditional public pressing of Vespaiola grapes. A celebration that unites wine\, territory and community\, rooted in a centuries-old winemaking tradition that dates back to the late 19th century. \nThe heart and thread of the 2026 edition will be the official investiture of the new Torcolato Ambassador to the world\, a role that this year is entrusted to Gabriella Dorio\, icon of Italian athletics and Olympic 1500-meter champion at the 1984 Los Angeles Games. A recognition that goes beyond symbolic value: her sporting history\, made up of discipline\, determination and passion\, perfectly embodies the values that guide the production of Torcolato\, an emblematic wine of the Breganzese territory. \nOrganized by the Pro Loco of Breganze\, in collaboration with the Municipality of Breganze\, the Consortium for the Protection of the D.O.C. of Breganze Wines and the Magnifica Fraglia del Torcolato\, the Prima del Torcolato is confirmed again in 2026 as an unmissable event for those who wish to experience up close the most authentic soul of this great Veneto raisin wine. \nThe D.O.C. Breganze\nThe Consortium for the Protection of D.O.C. Breganze Wines\, founded in 1982 by five producers\, now associates 17 winemaking members. The area covered is that of the Pedemontana Vicentina\, which has always been a land of great viticultural tradition\, and since 1969 has boasted the Breganze Denominazione di Origine Controllata\, the first in the Vicenza area. It includes the hills and the immediate plain included between the valleys of the Astico and Brenta rivers. Of this area Breganze is almost the geographic center\, while the other strongholds are Thiene to the west and Bassano del Grappa to the east. From an enological point of view\, the D.O.C. Breganze groups fifteen types of wines: Bianco\, Tai\, Vespaiolo\, Vespaiolo Spumante\, Pinot Grigio\, Pinot Bianco\, Chardonnay\, Sauvignon\, Rosso\, Merlot\, Cabernet\, Cabernet Sauvignon\, Pinot Nero\, Marzemino and Torcolato. The latter is certainly the most famous and representative of the appellation. \nThe Torcolato\nTorcolato D.O.C. Breganze is a sweet wine\, which is made from the bunches of the Vespaiola grape\, an indigenous variety of Breganze\, harvested perfectly ripe\, selected and put to dry in airy environments (like the barns of old farmhouses). Here they are left until the following January when\, having reached a high level of sweetness\, they are pressed. After a slow fermentation\, the wine rests in small barrels and waits at least two years before being released on the market. \nEvent schedule.\nThe day will kick off at 9 a.m. in Piazza Mazzini\, with the opening of the Market Exhibition of typical products and the stand dedicated to Torcolato\, organized by the Pro Loco of Breganze. Also embellishing the atmosphere will be an exhibition of vintage cars\, which will take the public on a journey between taste and memory. \nIn the early afternoon\, from 1:30 to 4 p.m.\, space for one of the most evocative moments of the event: “Toast in the Bell Tower\,” guided tours of the Diedo Tower\, one of the tallest bell towers in the Veneto region\, with tasting of Torcolato wine at altitude. A unique experience\, curated by the Arci-La Ciacola Association and the Gruppo Campanari di Breganze. \nStarting at 2 p.m.\, the square will come alive with the parade of the Magnifica Fraglia del Torcolato D.O.C. Breganze\, the greeting of the authorities and the official investiture of the new Brothers and the Ambassadress. Among the guests\, also theToresàn Academy of Breganze\, which will accompany the public to discover the local gastronomic tradition related to the spit. \nThe most anticipated moment remains the public pressing of the Vespaiola grapes in the large press set up in the square\, followed by the collective toast with the first must of the new vintage\, a ritual gesture that symbolically marks the beginning of the new production cycle. \nIn the afternoon\, from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.\, the festival continues with the Fruttaio Tour\, free guided tours of participating wineries\, where it will be possible to discover the places of the drying process and meet directly with the producers of Torcolato D.O.C. Breganze. \nInfo: www.breganzedoc.it

The word Convivium\, from the Latin convivere (“to live together”)\, sums up precisely the spirit of the meeting: an opportunity to meet\, taste\, compare and build professional relationships based on shared values. \nRenaissance des Appellations\nConvivium Renaissance was born from the vision of Renaissance des Appellations\, an association founded by European biodynamic viticulture pioneer Nicolas Joly\, which brings together winemakers from around the world committed to strict and sustainable agricultural practices. The goal is clear: wine must be a sincere expression of the place from which it comes\, without shortcuts or invasive interventions\, but with deep attention to the soil\, climate and rhythms of nature. \nUseful Information\nThe event is reserved for HoReCa operators with a VAT number: participation is free\, with a maximum of two accreditations per activity.Accreditation must be requested through registration on Renaissance Italia’s official website and will be confirmed by email after verification. \nFor all useful information on the full program\, accreditation methods and details of the attending winemakers\, you can visit the official page of Convivium Renaissance.

Many restaurants also offer gluten-free options\, always by reservation. \nThe review involves numerous restaurants and agritourisms in the Non Valley\, active on weekends or for selected periods. A complete and updated list of participating establishments is available on the official Visit Val di Non website. \nFor every Tortèl & Gropèl menu purchased\, guests receive a 10% discount voucher for the purchase of Groppello and other local wines at participating wineries\, valid until March 31\, 2026. \nMasterclass Tortèl & Gropèl – Maso Sperdossi – Saturday 31 January 2026\nThe masterclass on Saturday 31 January 2026 will take place at Maso Sperdossi (Revò). After a welcome toast\, the chef accompanies the participants in preparing the tortèi: from choosing the potatoes to grating\, from kneading to frying\, until they are perfectly golden brown.Following\, tasting of the tortèi prepared together\, combined with cured meats and cheeses from the valley and a glass of Groppello. \n\nWhen: Saturday 31 January 2026\nWhere: Maso Sperdossi – Revò (Val di Non)\nTime: 4:30 pm\nDuration: about 2 hours\n\n\nParticipation in the masterclass is by reservation only\, with registration open until 5 p.m. the day before \nFull details about the Tortèl & Gropèl festival and upcoming events are available on the official website: www.visitvaldinon.it
