SUMMARY:TastinGreve 2026
DESCRIPTION:TastinGreve 2026 is back: The picturesque Piazza di Greve in Chianti\, the heart of the Chianti Classico region\, will host some of the leading figures in Tuscany’s wine and food scene\, coming together for a major event in support of the Meyer Children’s Hospital Foundation in Florence \nThe event\nThe grand and picturesque Piazza Matteotti in Greve in Chianti is one of the most admired and photographed architectural landmarks in Tuscany. Dominated by the statue of Giovanni da Verrazzano\, it is the symbol of the Chianti region. On Thursday\, September 3\, it will once again serve as the venue and stage for one of the most anticipated and well-attended events marking the “return” to the city: TastinGreve 2026. \nTastinGreve is organizedby the Greve in Chianti Winegrowers’ Association and curated by renowned food and wine critic Leonardo Romanelli. Now in its 4th edition\, it has established itself as one of the most popular social events of the Tuscan summer. It offers the public the chance to enjoy an evening in a truly unique setting\, where fine wines and Michelin-starred cuisine come together in support of the Meyer Children’s Hospital Foundation in Florence. \nAn event that will allow gourmet enthusiasts and wine lovers to experience pairings of haute cuisine—created by the six guest Michelin-starred chefs from Tuscany —with the finest selection of Chianti Classico wines from the 29 Greve-based producers who are members of the Association. It is also a special and memorable opportunity for businesses and individuals to support one of the most “beloved” institutions in the Tuscan region. \nTastinGreve brings the summer tourist season to a close\, inviting visitors to discover a region renowned for its exceptional wines\, nestled in an idyllic landscape where life still unfolds at a slow\, natural pace\, such as the area around Greve in Chianti\, and offers the chance to discover unexpected and contemporary pairings with the finest Italian cuisine. \nThe participating chefs\nFor this edition\, Leonardo Romanelli has selected and brought together a dream team of leading Tuscan chefs specializing in signature cuisine. \n\nAlessandro della Tommasina and Riccardo Monco of Enoteca Pinchiorri\, with their “Agnolotti del plin with tomato sauce and 36-month Parmigiano-Reggiano fondue”\nStelios Sakalis of the Poggio Rosso Restaurant at the Borgo San Felice Resort\, with a “Risotto cooked in a light Cinta Senese broth\, tomatoes from ‘Orto & Aia Felice\,’ ginger\, and licorice”\nStefano Pinciaroli of PS Ristorante in Cerreto Guidi presents “Fregola made with Senatore Cappelli wheat\, sheep’s milk\, olive-wood-smoked primo sale\, and summer truffles.”\nNicola Gronchi of the Romano restaurant in Viareggio with his “Cuttlefish Tagliatelle with Snow Peas\, Wild Mint Tartar Sauce\, and Dandelion”\nSilvia Baracchi of Relais Il Falconiere in Cortona: “Pasta with wine\, onions in grape must\, and wild boar sausage”\nAndrea and Paolo Sacchetti of Pasticceria Nuovo Mondo in Prato\, who will delight guests with their acclaimed dessert\, “Zuppa Inglese”\n\nThe Anna Meyer Children’s Hospital Foundation \nAll proceeds from the event will be donated to the Anna Meyer Children’s Hospital Foundation to fund research\, treatment\, and support programs for children and their families in the hospital. \nThe Meyer Foundation was established in July 2000 to support the communication\, marketing\, and fundraising efforts of Meyer\, the children’s hospital located in Florence. Meyer is a leading center in Italian and European pediatrics for research\, innovative treatment methods\, and patient care. The Meyer Children’s Hospital represents excellence in healthcare\, and the Foundation supports it through initiatives with high “added value” that further enhance its standing from both technical-scientific and social perspectives\, making it increasingly appreciated and cherished by the public. \nInfo: https://www.fondazionemeyer.it/ \nFor information and reservations:\nhttps://www.viticoltorigreveinchianti.com/esperienze/ \ninfo@viticoltorigreveinchianti.com

SUMMARY:Franciacorta in Cantina Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:From September 18 to 20\, the Franciacorta in Cantina Festival returns—an event dedicated to discovering Franciacorta.\nThe 2026 edition aims to put wine back at the heart of the experience\, reinforcing the event’s educational focus . The Franciacorta in Cantina Festival is increasingly becoming an opportunity for wineries\, enthusiasts\, and the local community to come together and share experiences. Knowledge of the Franciacorta method\, its production history\, andits identity The name becomes the central theme of the entire program. \nThis year\, the event is expanding its cultural and educational scope\, offering the public more opportunities for in-depth exploration and discussion through a rich calendar of tastings\, tours\, and experiences at some of the most iconic locations in this corner of Lombardy. The program is designed to foster direct dialogue with producers and offer a deeper understanding of the unique characteristics that make Franciacorta a standout in the Italian wine scene. \nThe Franciacorta in Cantina Festival engages the entire region through the Franciacorta Wine Route\, which has been promoting the area’s tourism\, cultural\, and food-and-wine potential for over twenty years. Alongside the initiatives organized by the wineries\, the event highlights the contribution of restaurants\, lodging facilities\, and hospitality providers\, who will participate with special offerings and opportunities for discovery aimed at showcasing the region’s heritage\, traditions\, and local specialties. \nAlongside these activities\, the exhibition dedicated to zoning—which was first presented during Design Week—is back and can once again be visited at the Consortium’s headquarters. The exhibition explores the interplay between soil\, landscape\, and the Franciacorta method\, offering an in-depth look at the factors that contribute to defining its distinctive character and making them accessible to the public. \nThe program is also expanding thanks to new initiatives developed in collaboration with Accademia Symposium\, a center for advanced training in the wine and food and wine sectors. This initiative aims to explore the themes of research and innovation that are currently driving the evolution of Franciacorta\, offering a contemporary perspective on the work and vision of Franciacorta’s businesses. \nThe official website festivalfranciacorta.wine features the complete calendar of events\, participation guidelines\, and all updates related to the Festival.
