SUMMARY:Grottaglie - Natural Evolution
DESCRIPTION:Evoluzione Naturale – The Earth at the Center of Man’s True Life\, the benchmark event in southern Italy dedicated to natural wine\, Jan. 26 and 27 in Grottaglie (Taranto)\nEvoluzione Naturale is an unmissable event to discover new artisanal realities\, dialogue directly with producers and immerse yourself in a journey of authentic flavors\, culture and sustainability. Hundreds of labels being tasted from all over Italy and Europe\, with tasting tables workshops and tastings make it the benchmark event in southern Italy dedicated to natural wine. \nNatural Evolution is a project that aims to bring a wide audience closer to the topic of “change\,” which in all its meanings is today fundamental for humans\, their well-being and survival. At a time when the challenge to climate change and its many implications is the order of the day\, the only way forward is the rediscovery of harmony with nature\, the quest for unavoidable sustainability. Quietly\, this rediscovery has already begun\, and man\, in a natural evolution\, is taking those measures that\, from the primary sector to the tertiary sector\, via industry\, represent a readjustment of ancient knowledge and methods to bring the Earth back to the center of man’s true life. It is with this in mind that “Natural Evolution – The Earth at the Center of Man’s True Life” is held in Grottaglie\, Apulia\, every January. Theevent presents a rich program of activities focused on artisanal wine production\, a still little-known reality that is attracting more and more interest. Each year about 60 winemakers are selected from Italy and all over Europe (France\, Germany\, Spain\, Slovenia\, Austria and other countries) according to strict criteria that respect the sustainability of the entire production chain. They will also enrich the event with thematic workshops and tasting laboratories to delve into the latest trends in the sector. \n\nTasting tables:\n\nSunday\, January 26 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.\nMonday\, 27January 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.\n\n\nLaboratories and Workshops:\n\nSunday\, Jan. 26\, 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m.: “Affinities | Divergences”: Gaglioppo is compared with Mediterranean reds. 10 labelsin tasting (6 Gaglioppo and 4 great Mediterranean reds) with Cataldo Calabretta\, an expert and passionate winemaker from Ciroto. \nSunday\, January 26\, 9:30 a.m.: Wine microbiology: theory and practice in chaotic times. Through studies and guest speakers\, we will reflect on the importance of proper management of the winery and the complex ecosystem it guards. Professor Giancarlo Moschetti\, professor in Microbiology at the University of Palermo as well as winemaker\, and Cataldo Calabretta\, oenologist and winemaker in Cirò\, will participate. Matteo Gallello\, wine columnist\, will moderate. \n\n\nThe Fuori Salone:\n\nSaturday\, Jan. 25\, a preview trip to Grottaglie venues. The special event will allow you to meet the winemakers\, listen to their stories and preview their wines in Grottaglie’s most picturesque locations. SUMMARY:Caprarola - Presentation "La Tuscia del Vino 2025"
DESCRIPTION:Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola\, in the province of Viterbo\, will be the setting for the presentation event of the Guide “La Tuscia del Vino 2025\,” with more than 190 wineries participating. This will be followed by a dinner in the company of the producers. \nThe work of preparing the guide “La Tuscia del Vino 2025\,” edited by Carlo Zucchetti\, allows a close look at the evolution of a territory that in recent years has shown a lively wine activity\, declined in a variety of different styles. What unites all these efforts is the love for a land rich not only in agricultural excellence\, but also in scenic\, archaeological and artistic beauty. This territory is a mosaic of unique experiences\, where each wine tells a story and reflects the cultural and natural richness that characterizes it. \n“La Tuscia del Vino” is also a guidebook that sits at the intersection of tasting and the culture of places. The routes outlined traverse tangible signs of past eras and historical memories\, tracing a region that is both new and ancient. They extend along the boundaries of Tuscia Viterbese and its D.O.C. (Est!Est!!Est!!! of Montefiascone\, Aleatico di Gradoli\, Vignanello\, Tarquinia and Tuscia)\, I.G.T. (Civitella d’Agliano and Colli Cimini)\, including also the territories of D.O.C. (Orvieto\, Lago di Corbara and Amelia)\, I.G.T. (Ciliegiolo di Narni and Allerona)\, D.O.C. Cerveteri and I.G.T. Costa Etrusco Romana as far as Veio\, and then reaching north into the lands of D.O.C. (Bianco di Pitigliano\, Sovana and Maremma Toscana) and I.G.T. Costa Toscana. A number of wineries stand out for being awarded the Hat\, a symbol of consistency and clarity of design\, and will be honored during the presentation of the 2025 guide. The guide also points out wineries with agritourism or guest quarters\, those offering winery tours and direct sales\, and wines that “deserve a long stop.” The appointment is for Monday\, Jan. 27\, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Scuderie di Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola\, Viterbo. Followed by dinner with the producers \nAll information is available at https://www.carlozucchetti.it/ \nThe event is free for press and operators upon accreditation on the forms on the website or by writing to redazione@carlozucchetti.it For more information: latusciadelvino@carlozucchetti.com
