SUMMARY:All over Italy - The Winemaker's Saturday
DESCRIPTION:Vintner’s Saturday returns across Italy every Saturday in May 2026. For the 2026 edition\, the narrative of Independent Winemakers goes widespread! \nThroughout the month of May\, 21 appointments in special places on the peninsula to meet the Winemakers\, taste their wines and discover the identity of the territories through a renewed and dynamic formula. \nThe long-awaited annual appointment of Il Sabato del Vignaiolo\, the day designed by FIVI-Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti with the support of Crédit Agricole-to tell the public and enthusiasts about the territorial realities of its more than 1\,800 members\, is back. \nAfter the success of past years\, the 2026 edition marks an important evolution. The event leaves the single national date to become a widespread event during all Saturdays of the month of May. The decision to spread the events over four weekends stems from the desire to respect the extraordinary climatic and meteorological diversity of our peninsula\, but not only. In fact\, this new formula has allowed for greater collaboration between territories so that many Delegations will open their doors to members from other regions\, creating opportunities for discussion and cross-tasting where event dates allow.    \nThe locations and delegations\nA total of 21 FIVI Local Delegations (out of a total of 31 currently in attendance) have joined the initiative\, with some entities celebrating their organizational debut this year (Asti\, Alta Toscana and Costa Toscana). The public will be able to meet the Winemakers and taste their wines in as many as 15 exceptional settings. >Not only wineries and member farms\, but also places related to culture such as museums and historical monuments\, squares in the capitals and several Points of Affection (PDAs) of the Federation. \nThe format of The Winemaker’s Saturday.\nEach date will welcome the public with the usual spirit of celebration and sharing. \nThe heart of the event will be the tasting tables\, where Independent Winemakers and Winegrowers will tell firsthand about their work\, their wines and the values of the Federation. \nThe program will be enhanced by a free and varied format that\, depending on the delegation\, will include: \n\nIn-depth masterclasses and discussion moments\nDirect purchase of wines from producers\nInvolvement of local artisans and food stands with local products\nMusical interludes and cultural highlights.\n\nFor wine enthusiasts\, it confirms a unique opportunity to discover and relax and experience a day in the company of those who cultivate and protect the vineyard every day\, discovering the vocation of often unique territories. \nThe date of Saturday\, May 30\n\nAsti | Monvì Relais – Costigliole d’Asti (AT)\n\nThe full program and details of each event are posted online at: https://fivi.it/sabato-del-vignaiolo/

DESCRIPTION:Rebel Queen – Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Fest: Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2026 a weekend full of tastings\, masterclasses\, widespread events and entertainment\nRegina Ribelle\, the festival dedicated to Vernaccia di San Gimignano returns with the 4th edition\, celebrating the historic “White Queen” in its territory \nAfter the success of the last edition\, which registered the presence of about 1\,500 wine lovers\, the following will be back from May 30 to 31\, 2026 Regina Ribelle – Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Fest\, the festival dedicated to the famous Tuscan white wine\, organized and promoted by the Vernaccia di San Gimignano Wine Consortium in collaboration with the Municipality of San Gimignano.\n\nThe 2026 edition takes on a special historical value\, celebrating the 750th anniversary of the first documented attestation of Vernaccia di San Gimignano and the 60th anniversary of the granting of the DOC. An edition that\, although in the sign of a centuries-old history\, wants to continue to dialogue with contemporaneity\, renewing the narrative of the denomination through languages\, experiences and contents of strong interest to consumers and enthusiasts\, who are increasingly attentive to the identity\, authenticity and culture of the territory. \n\n\nThe calendar will be full of events\, with initiatives spread throughout the historic center of San Gimignano: traveling tastings\, thematic masterclasses\, meetings with producers and workshops dedicated to food and wine pairings\, in dialogue with Tuscan gastronomic excellence and the proposals of local restaurateurs.
