SUMMARY:Canneto Pavese - "Scollinando" 30th Anniversary Special
DESCRIPTION:“Scollinando” 30th Anniversary Special. Each stop a producer\, each stop a course\, strolling through the vineyards where the identity of Historic Buttafuoco has been guarded for 30 years \nThere is a very concrete way to understand what 30 years of Historic Buttafuoco means: walk through it. Walk through the hills where it was born. Go from vineyard to vineyard. Meet the producers who guard the character of this powerful and long-lived red wine that can tell the most shy and profound soul ofOltrepò Pavese \nThis is how the Historic Buttafuoco Club closes its 30th anniversary celebrations on Sunday\, May 31\, with “Scollinando\,” a walk through the vineyards with food stops accompanied by producers. A special edition to retrace the history of the Club\, which for 30 years has been protecting and enhancing this flagship wine produced in limited quantities in its historic vineyards. More than a food and wine walk\, “Scollinando” is an immersive journey inside the landscape from which Historic Buttafuoco\, born from the union of Croatina\, Barbera\, Ughetta di Canneto and Uva Rara\, takes shape . \nThe itinerary will pass through the Club’s historic vineyards\, linking the Sperone di Stradella wineries between the Versa and Scuropasso streams. Guests will walk together with the producers among rows of vines\, ridges and small villages\, entering the heart of one of the most identifiable viticultural landscapes of Oltrepò Pavese. \nEach stop will be part of a unique spread lunch: from appetizer to dessert\, each stop combines cooking and tasting\, wines\, hills and conviviality. \nInformation:\nThe event will take place on Sunday\, May 31\, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.\, with staggered departures from the Historic Buttafuoco House\, starting at 10 a.m. \nAt the end of the walk\, the House of Historic Buttafuoco will open to the public for “Time in a Glass – 30 Years of Historic Buttafuoco\,” a free tasting of Historic Vineyards designed as a last collective toast of the 30th anniversary. \n“Scollinando- Special 30 years” is also an opportunity to reread the path taken by the Historic Buttafuoco Club: a countercultural choice born in 1996\, when eleven producers\, now eighteen\, decided to defend a precise territorial identity\, enhancing the historic vineyards and building an associative model now recognized as one of the most cohesive and representative experiences in Oltrepò Pavese. \nFor information\, reservations: 038560154\, Club socials and www.buttafuocostorico.com

An evening to celebrate the excellence of Italian rosé\, a sector that is the protagonist of a 10-year growth trend (UIV-ISMEA Observatory) and that in 2025 marked a +5.7 percent increase in certified bottlings (Valoritalia\, TESSA Report). \n“We want to bring people closer to the world of rosé wine\,” says Giuseppe Gentile\, technical consultant of Puglia Rosé\, “and break down the barriers that have always made it\, in Italy\, much more than elsewhere\, a second-class wine. Puglia participates with a great palmares of level labels\, but many Italian wineries make excellent rosés. We want to show that\, starting with producers\, experts and now consumers\, rosé is a wine of great quality.” \nAmong the labels featured at Puglia Rosè many award-winning in various editions of the Concour Mondial de Bruxelles: Tenute Chiaromonte’s Kimia Rosato\, one of the top rosés internationally\, or Terzini\, Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo Rosato – Tocco da Casauria\, Grand Gold Medal in 2020 or Jasci & Marchesani\, Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo Rosato\, Italy’s best Rosé at the CMB in 2021\, to name a few. \nThe program\nAppointment May 30 from 7 p.m. on the Manfredonia marina promenade. \nPlanned during the afternoon is a blind tasting\, accompanied by experts and producers from the wineries involved for a reasoned tasting\, aimed at understanding and getting to know the wine better\, and for those who do not believe that rosé is just a young wine\, it will be possible to participate in an in-depth meeting on the best 12 vintage rosés selected for tasting. During the evening\, there will be room for taste pairings thanks to the involvement of producers from the Slow Food circuit and the marina’s restaurateurs who will pair local excellences and specialties with the different shades of rosé. \n“We focused on rosé wine\,” says Maurizio Altomare\, of Studio360\, “because of its extraordinary versatility\, its ability to marry well with different needs and different audiences. Thanks to its balance between freshness\, structure and aromas\, it naturally accompanies a wide range of dishes\, ranging from light appetizers to more complex preparations. It is no coincidence that Puglia Rosé has met with enormous approval among Manfredonian restaurateurs.” \nUseful information\nParticipating in Puglia Rosé will be very simple: just buy your ticket at https://lanottedeirosati.it/ and\, starting at 7 p.m. on May 30\, go to the info points set up in the marina to pick up your ticket\, goblet and goblet holder. \n“Puglia Rosè – La Notte dei Rosati” is an initiative promoted and organized by Studio 360\, in collaboration with Partesa\, a leading food & beverage company specializing in the sale and distribution of beverages for the ho.re.ca. channel.

The event leaves the single national date to become a widespread event during all Saturdays of the month of May. The decision to spread the events over four weekends stems from the desire to respect the extraordinary climatic and meteorological diversity of our peninsula\, but not only. In fact\, this new formula has allowed for greater collaboration between territories so that many Delegations will open their doors to members from other regions\, creating opportunities for discussion and cross-tasting where event dates allow. \nThe locations and delegations\nA total of 21 FIVI Local Delegations (out of a total of 31 currently in attendance) have joined the initiative\, with some entities celebrating their organizational debut this year (Asti\, Alta Toscana and Costa Toscana). The public will be able to meet the Winemakers and taste their wines in as many as 15 exceptional settings. >Not only wineries and member farms\, but also places related to culture such as museums and historical monuments\, squares in the capitals and several Points of Affection (PDAs) of the Federation. \nThe format of The Winemaker’s Saturday.\nEach date will welcome the public with the usual spirit of celebration and sharing. \nThe heart of the event will be the tasting tables\, where Independent Winemakers and Winegrowers will tell firsthand about their work\, their wines and the values of the Federation. \nThe program will be enhanced by a free and varied format that\, depending on the delegation\, will include: \n\nIn-depth masterclasses and discussion moments\nDirect purchase of wines from producers\nInvolvement of local artisans and food stands with local products\nMusical interludes and cultural highlights.\n\nFor wine enthusiasts\, it confirms a unique opportunity to discover and relax and experience a day in the company of those who cultivate and protect the vineyard every day\, discovering the vocation of often unique territories. \nThe date of Saturday\, May 30\n\nAsti | Monvì Relais – Costigliole d’Asti (AT)\n\nThe full program and details of each event are posted online at: https://fivi.it/sabato-del-vignaiolo/

DESCRIPTION:Wine Festival\, Piedmont’s native grape varieties: Meeting with producers\, biodiversity\, wine culture\nGo Wine presents theeighth edition of the Wine Festival dedicated to the Autochthonous Grapes of Piedmont\, scheduled for Sunday\, May 24\, 2026 in the historic center of Alba. \nA tasting event that pays tribute to the great richness of the Piedmont vineyard: expressed through native grape varieties\, narrated and offered for tasting in the direct presence of the producers. \nThe event will take place throughout the day\, transforming Alba’s historic center into a large tasting trail dedicated to Piedmont’s viticultural biodiversity. \nA “journey” through the Piedmont vineyard\nThe Wine Festival was created to highlight the richness and diversity of the region’s ampelographic heritage\, giving voice to famous varieties and other rarer ones that have been recovered and revived in recent years. \nMore than 40 grape varieties will be represented during the day\, in an ideal journey through the Piedmont of wine: from the best-known varieties\, such as Nebbiolo\, Barbera\, Dolcetto\,Arneis or Timorasso\, to lesser-known and particularly fascinating varieties such as Baratuciat\, Bian Ver\, Uvalino\, Becuet\, Caricalasino\, Chatus\, white Rossese and many others. \nAn itinerary that invites you to discover not only the wines\, but also the territories\, the stories and the work of the wineries that guard and interpret this extraordinary heritage. \nWine as an encounter with wineries\nWineries participate in the event by meeting directly with the public at tasting booths that will enliven the city’s historic center. \nOther grape varieties and wines will be presented in special thematic wine shops\, thus completing the tasting tour. \nThe Wine Festival is also an opportunity to experience wine as encounter\, dialogue and storytelling: an opportunity to get to know the producers up close\, listen to the stories of the wineries and delve into the link between grape variety\, landscape and territorial identity. \nSpecial guests: Wines of Portugal and Vermentino in Italy\nIn the sign of encounter and comparison\, two thematic wine shops will tell about a great native grape variety of Italy and a foreign reality. \nIn Italy\, the choice fell on Vermentino: a grape variety that we can call “Tyrrhenian\,” because it looks to the sea and is exalted in certain soils (such as the granite of Gallura in Sardinia). \nNinety percent of the vermentino in Italy comes from Liguria\, Tuscany and Sardinia\, with some occurrences also in Umbria and Latium. \nA selection of labels will tell the story of its presence in different regions and give voice to important performers. \nPortugal is the host country for this edition: boasting an ancient history\, it is the 11th largest wine producer in the world; regions such as Douro and Port make up 20 percent of the total national production. \nA selection of wines will tell the story of the country’s main wine-growing areas: from northern Vinho Verde to southern Alentejo\, the largest wine region. \nThere are over 250 indigenous wines from Portugal: we will present some of them in an exclusive Enoteca. \nThree masterclasses to deepen knowledge\nA number of masterclasses will characterize the day and touch on different themes: celebrating the 60th anniversary of the recognition of the first docs in Italy\, focusing on the Wines of Portugal\, hosts of the event. \nThe masterclass program \n\n 11:30 a.m.: 60 Years of DOC in Italy (1966-2026): Barolo\, Barbaresco & more… Inaugural event\, tasting of 6 wines (Barolo\, Barbaresco\, Brunello di Montalcino\, Vernaccia di San Gimignano\, Frascati\, Ischia)\n3 pm: Portugal in the glass: territory\, history\, grape varieties: from Vinho verde\, to Port\, to Alentejo. Tasting of 5 wines \n5 p.m.: The Nascetta of the City of Novello\, a Langa white to be discovered\, tasting of 4 wines\n\nAn impressive event\, where you can taste in one setting wines that are often unavailable\, the chance to meet many wineries at the tasting counter in the spirit of the Go Wine community that conceived the event. \nClick and reserve your place at the masterclasses \n60 years of Doc to be celebrated with an exclusive lounge of\nBarolo\, Barbaresco and other great Italian wines \nA masterclass (11:30 a.m. booking by clicking at the bottom of the page)\, aims to celebrate an important anniversary: 60 years in 2026 since the establishment of the first DOCs. Where Barolo and Barbaresco\, the great reds of Langa\, and other important Italian wines stand out. \nIn the afternoon\, a lounge area will present a selection of all the appellations that were the first in Italy to obtain designation of origin recognition. \nAlba\, city of wine\nThe choice of Alba as the venue for the event is not accidental. \nThe city has always been a point of reference for the world of wine\, for the presence of important educational and cultural institutions\, for its role in the heart of an area of excellence and for its ability to welcome and narrate wine in all its expressions. \nFor one day\, the historic center of Alba becomes a wine street\, a place where different grape varieties\, territories and histories of Piedmont converge\, in a celebration that combines tasting\, knowledge and conviviality. \nAs in every edition\, Go Wine will also promote an initiative to benefit wine research. \nUseful information:\n\nWhere: Alba – Historic center \nDate: Sunday\, May 24\, 2026\nHours: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.\nTickets available online at www.gowinet.it. SUMMARY:Chieri - Di Freisa in Freisa
DESCRIPTION:The 16th edition of “Di Freisa in Freisa”: a great event to celebrate one of Piedmont’s iconic grape varieties\, Freisa di Chieri\nOn Saturday\, May 23 and Sunday\, May 24\, Chieri will once again host the two-day event dedicated to Freisa di Chieri and the wines of the Turin Hills: masterclasses\, in-depth discussions\, guided tastings\, but also music\, entertainment\, culture\, gastronomic encounters with other local specialties\, and enhancement of the city’s commercial fabric. \nHaving become one of the most anticipated events in the Piedmontese food and wine scene\, “Di Freisa in Freisa” returns to toast for the 16th consecutive year: the appointment is Saturday\, May 23 (from 5 p.m. until midnight) and Sunday\, May 24 (from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.) in the historic center of Chieri. \nThe event\nThe Chieri City Council event is organized by Gusto Sì\, Consorzio di Tutela e Valorizzazione delle DOC Freisa di Chieri e Collina Torinese\, and Croce Rossa Italiana Comitato di Chieri\, with the aim of highlighting all the facets of a unique and precious grape variety\, but also to enhance and promote the cultural\, artistic\, food and wine and commercial excellence of the Chieri area. \nTwo days full of initiatives\, moments of celebration and storytelling\, masterclasses\, guided tastings\, but also many opportunities to learn more broadly and in depth about the different souls that inhabit the area: from the purely food and wine ones to the catering ones to the artistic and social ones. \n“Di Freisa in Freisa is one of the most eagerly awaited events for our city and\, in general\, for the entire Chieri area\,” declare Mayor Alessandro Sicchiero and Councillor for Territorial Promotion Antonella Giordano. “The event\, in fact\, is not only meant to celebrate one of Piedmont’s historic grape varieties\, but also aims to show the many visitors the countless excellences that Chieri is able to offer. From artistic and cultural ones to food and wine\, to businesses and Associations: everyone wants to participate in this great festival and give their contribution to make this two-day event unforgettable.” \n“In the last two years Di Freisa in Freisa has been renewed with the aim of becoming even fresher and more contemporary and thus bringing us closer to a young audience\, eager to learn about Freisa and the other wines of the area through conscious consumption of absolute quality\,” explains Matteo Rossotto\, president of the Consorzio di Tutela e Valorizzazione delle DOC Freisa di Chieri e Collina Torinese \nProgram\nThere will be two central cores from which the event will come to life: Piazza Cavour and Via Vittorio Emanuele II. As per tradition\, Piazza Cavour will be transformed into a large open-air stage with “Notes and Goblets of Freisa” bringing together the world of food and wine with that of music and entertainment. \n24 wineries in the area will offer walk-around tasting of Freisa and wines from the Collina Torinese\, along with other labels from the Canavese\, Asti and Alessandria areas. A tasting itinerary enriched by the presence of the Enoteca Regionale dei vini della Provincia di Torino\, which will offer participants a real journey through the wine scene of the province of Turin. Not only wine but also food thanks to a rich proposal of high quality street cuisines with their local and regional specialties. \nMaking the party even more lively will be music. In the afternoon and evening of Saturday\, May 23\, a long DJ set will feature the extraordinary participation of Francesco Quarna and Maurizio Rossato of Radio DEEJAY. On Sunday\, traveling music will enliven the event throughout the historic center: from forays by BandarAdan\, a landmark of street art for more than 20 years\, to Occitan folk music and dancing by the group Controcanto. On Sunday\, Radio GRP will also be present in the square\, with widespread music and interviews\, and the event will conclude with the San Marco Philharmonic – Wind Orchestra\, which will entertain the audience on a journey through soundtracks and original pieces for orchestra. \nFreisa Space\nThe Cooking Loft Spazio Gusto at Via Vittorio Emanuele 40/A will instead be the home of Spazio Freisa\, active all day Sunday from 10 a.m. onwards. A place where producers\, industry experts\, sommeliers\, as well as Wine Lovers and the simply curious will be able to delve into all the characteristics of Freisa di Chieri through guided tastings and masterclasses designed to raise awareness of conscious and\, above all\, quality consumption\, paired with the products of the Distretto del Cibo del Chierese-Carmagnolese\, thanks to the valuable collaboration with the teachers and students of the Norberto Bobbio Institute of Carignano. \nOpening the day’s program of appointments at Spazio Freisa will be the meeting” Agricultural Coffee: Water and Resilience” (10 a.m.) as part of the IDEA project\, in collaboration with the Agroenvironmental Working Table of the Chierese-Carmagnolese Food District: a much-needed moment of reflection during which the SWITCH Masterplan\, a strategic initiative of the territory\, created to respond concretely to the water crisis of 2022-2024\, will be presented. \nThis will be followed by highly “oenological” moments such as the Blind Testing “Freisa among the greats” (12 noon)\, a blind tasting of three Freisa-based wines amidst three top national and international labels led by Mauro Carosso\, President of AIS Piemonte; the appointment with “Freisa meets dealcoholated wines” (3 p.m.) offering an interesting journey through the history of dealcoholated wine in the company of Professor Vincenzo Gerbi; and\, again\, the meeting with the “Young outsiders of Freisa” (5 pm) to get to know together with Gaetano Pio Liscio – DISAFA enologist – five young new producers who have decided to launch themselves into the world of viticulture\, up to the Masterclass “The Wines of the Province of Turin” (6 pm) with a tasting led by enologist Giampiero Gerbi to discover the four territories of viticulture in Turin. Moderating all the masterclasses will be food and wine journalist Danilo Poggio. \nBetween solidarity and culture\nAlongside the many initiatives dedicated to Freisa\, the Chierese weekend will involve other local businesses that have decided to participate as protagonists in the festival. \nThe Italian Red Cross – Committee of Chieri\, thanks to the contribution of the Department of Social Policies of the Municipality of Chieri\, once again this year organizes\, on Saturday 23\, the White and Red Night under the banner of entertainment but also of awareness and solidarity\, to which are added free activities throughout the weekend designed for the whole family. \nFor younger children\, in addition to the initiatives proposed by Red Cross\, the Chierese-Carmagnolese Food District will be present in Cavour Square with the farm “La Collina\,” from Baldissero Torinese (TO)\, accredited since 2021 by the Piedmont Region as an educational farm\, which will offer fun and engaging games aimed at children\, with the following times: Saturday\, May 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Sunday\, May 24 from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 7 p.m. \nChieri’s restaurants and eateries are also joining in with the initiative “La Freisa di Chieri nel Piatto\,” offering an itinerary of tasty and creative pairings in which Freisa di Chieri meets other typical products such as the products of the Chierese-Carmagnolese Food District. \nDuring Di Freisa in Freisa it will be possible to get to know the artistic and cultural beauties of the city: from the Palazzo Opesso Civic Gallery with the art exhibition “Beyond the Image 2026 – 11th edition of the Chieri Arte Prize\,” to the Textile Museum\, from the StArt Gallery to the MAC (Archaeological Exhibition of Chieri)\, without forgetting the many open monuments such as the churches of San Bernardino\, Sant’Antonio Abate and San Filippo\, which it will be possible to visit guided by Carreum Potentia. \nFinally\, on the afternoon of Saturday 23 at 4 p.m.\, new interventions made at the Don Bosco Museum will be presented\, including the display of some objects that belonged to the saint. \nBetween shopping and sports with La Freisa at the Fair\nThe weekend of May 23 and 24 will then be all about shopping with “La Freisa in Fiera”: participating stores in collaboration with Ascom and the Old Town Committee will take part in the event by displaying their products in Via Vittorio Emanuele II and Piazza Umberto I. Also on Sunday will be staged the hobbyists’ market by Association 360\, while an extraordinary market will be held in Via Palazzo di Città\, curated by the Avac mercatals. \nChierese businesses will also be involved in two other initiatives in collaboration with Ascom and Comitato Centro Storico: “Freisa & Friends\,” which provides a “double” discount system: concessions for customers of participating businesses to use for tastings in Piazza Cavour\, and offers to be discovered in the stores for those who participate in the event; “We Love Freisa\,” on the other hand\, transforms merchants who want to immortalize their love for Freisa in a shot with a giant bottle into models. \nFor lovers of cycling and cycling tourism\, appointment on Saturday 23 at 12:30 p.m. with “Pedali DiVini” the bicycle ride curated by Turismo Torino and Province along the roads of the Chieri area. \nFor all information about Di Freisa in Freisa and individual initiatives organized during the event\, visit www.difreisainfreisa.it \nUseful Information\n\nWhere: Historic center of Chieri\nWhen:\n\n\n\nSaturday 23 5 p.m. – midnight\nSunday 24 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.\n\n\n\n\nEvent website www.difreisainfreisa.it\n\nDi Freisa in Freisa is an event of the Municipality of Chieri organized by Gusto Sì\, Consorzio di Tutela e Valorizzazione delle DOC Freisa di Chieri e Collina Torinese and Croce Rossa Italiana Comitato di Chieri with the support of the Piedmont Regional Council and under the patronage of Piedmont Region\, Metropolitan City of Turin\, Turin Chamber of Commerce\, Unesco Biosphere Reserve and Collina Po and with the participation of Enoteca Regionale dei vini della Provincia di Torino and Strada Reale dei vini torinesi.

SUMMARY:All over Italy - The Winemaker's Saturday
DESCRIPTION:Vintner’s Saturday returns across Italy every Saturday in May 2026. For the 2026 edition\, the narrative of Independent Winemakers goes widespread! \nThroughout the month of May\, 21 appointments in special places on the peninsula to meet the Winemakers\, taste their wines and discover the identity of the territories through a renewed and dynamic formula. \nThe long-awaited annual appointment of Il Sabato del Vignaiolo\, the day designed by FIVI-Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti with the support of Crédit Agricole-to tell the public and enthusiasts about the territorial realities of its more than 1\,800 members\, is back. \nAfter the success of past years\, the 2026 edition marks an important evolution. \nThe appointments for Saturday\, May 23\n\nAbruzzo-Molise | Azienda Agricola La Vinarte – Santa Maria Imbaro (CH)\nUpper Tuscany | Frantoio Sanminiatese – San Miniato PI\nCalabria | Museum of the Present in Rende (CS)\nTuscany Coast | Sequerciani Company – Tatti (GR)\nTreviso | Case Paolin – Volpago del Montello (TV)\n\nThe full program and details of each event are posted online at: https://fivi.it/sabato-del-vignaiolo/

SUMMARY:Bolzano - Vinaltum 2026
DESCRIPTION:Vinaltum 2026: “Tasting excellence” at Mareccio Castle\, in the heart of Bolzano\, May 17 and 18\nVinaltum\, the Festival of Wine Excellence of Italy and the World\, dedicated to wine lovers and wine professionals\, is back. For this third edition\, the event takes a significant step and lands in Castel Mareccio\, in the heart of Bolzano\, bringing with it all its exclusive character in a setting even more evocative and representative of the South Tyrolean territory. \nMareccio Castle\nNestled among vineyards on the outskirts of the city\, Castel Mareccio is a medieval castle from the 13th century. It stands on a hilltop promontory with panoramic views of the Adige Valley. Now a venue for high-profile events\, its historic architecture\, frescoed rooms and surrounding park provide a setting of rare elegance-a setting perfectly in line with the values of Vinaltum\, where excellence\, territory and beauty meet. \n“Castel Mareccio represents a quantum leap in context for Vinaltum. We wanted to bring the event to the heart of Bolzano\,” comments Danilo D’Ambra\, creator of Vinaltum\, “in a place that spoke of territory\, history and excellence as much as the wines tasted there \nThe Vinaltum project\nVinaltum was born from the synergy between Danilo D’Ambra and Luciano Rappo\, two leading figures in the Italian wine scene. D’Ambra\, FISAR president for Bolzano and Bassa Atesina\, is a great connoisseur of the sector and a passionate promoter of wine culture. Rappo\, a longtime wine consultant and point of reference for many wineries\, has dedicated his career to the promotion of Italian wine excellence. Together\, with the support of Pietro Cormaci\, Brand Ambassador of the event\, and Rinaldo Hauser Sommelier of experience and “Keeper of Taste\,” they have built a project that aims to be a bridge between producers\, buyers\, experts and industry enthusiasts\, promoting an authentic and educational tasting experience. \n“Vinaltum was born out of the conviction that quality wine deserves a stage to match.” – says Luciano Rappo\, co-organizer of Vinaltum-“The selection of wineries participating in the event is never random: we look for producers who have something authentic to tell\, who express the territory through their wines. It is this rigor in the selection that makes Vinaltum a credible\, expected and different event from others.” \nVinaltum 2026\nThe careful selection of participating wineries and the direct presence of producers will offer visitors an unprecedented wine experience.” \nTo make the experience even more complete for guests of the event\, Vinaltum 2026 benefits from the valuable collaboration of the Goldenstern Townhouse\, the official hospitality partner. Located in the heart of Bolzano’s historic center\, under the city’s medieval arcades\, the Goldenstern is much more than a hotel. It is an expertly restored 800 AD historic building with sixteen unique suites\, each custom-designed and dedicated to one of the people who shaped its history. The panoramic terrace overlooking the rooftops of Bolzano and the Dolomites\, the interiors that blend contemporary design and period stucco\, the breakfast with fresh local products-all speak of that same quest for excellence that animates Vinaltum. A natural partnership\, between two businesses that share the same vision of the beautiful and the good. \n“Mareccio Castle and the Goldenstern are two places that tell the same soul of Bolzano“-D’Ambra emphasizes-history\, beauty and the pursuit of excellence. Having them both alongside VINALTUM is not a coincidence\, it is a precise choice. We want every moment of the event to match the wines and the Producers we host.” \nWith the support of Arco Expeditions\, Main Sponsor for logistics\, Goldenstern Townhouse\, Sophienwald with UNO Glassworks\, Castel Hortenberg\, Franz Kraler\, and in collaboration with FISAR\, Vinaltum 2026 is confirmed as an unmissable experience for those who love wine and wish to experience it in a high-class and professional setting\, in the extraordinary crossroads of cultures\, landscapes and flavors that is South Tyrol. \nThe program\nThe program consists of two days: \n\nSunday\, May 17 tastings open to the public\non Monday\, May 18 access restricted to insiders and invited guests.\n\nBoth days will be enhanced by exclusive master classes led by industry experts. \nServing as an interlude between the first and second days is the traditional“Big Bottle Party” on Sunday evening. This is a time of conviviality and celebration where participants can taste large formats in an elegant and engaging atmosphere. \nMore details on the official Vinatum.co.uk page.

SUMMARY:Sala Baganza - Malvasia Festival
DESCRIPTION:Thirty years of the Malvasia Festival. And an award for the next thirty. A double course: to guard the identity of Malvasia di Candia Aromatica and to open it to generational change. \nOn Saturday\, May 16 and Sunday\, May 17\, 2026\, the 30th Malvasia Festival will be held at Rocca Sanvitale di Sala Baganza (PR). Alongside the historic Cosèta d ‘ Or and Perlén’na d’Or\, the Cosèta Malvagiovani award debuts\, dedicated to young producers\, restaurateurs and food and wine professionals. A dual course: to preserve the identity of Malvasia di Candia Aromatica and to open it up to generational change. \nFor 30 years\, the Malvasia Festival has been the best showcase for the aromas and flavors of the Parma Valleys. The 30th edition\, scheduled to take place in Sala Baganza on Saturday \, May 16 and Sunday\, May 17\, 2026 in the shadow of Rocca Sanvitale\, brings Malvasia di Candia Aromatica – a white grape variety from the Parma hills – back to the center in a weekend of tastings\, flavors and fun promoted by the Municipality of Sala Baganza and the Pro Loco with the collaboration of the Consorzio Vini Colli di Parma. \nLa Cosèta Malvagiovani Award\nThirty years the Festival lives on as a stage\, not a finish line: the 2026 edition confirms this with the debut of a new award\, the Cosèta Malvagiovani\, designed precisely to give space to the new generation of producers\, restaurateurs and food and wine professionals. \nLa Cosèta Malvagiovani was born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Sala Baganza\, the Pro Loco\, the Colli di Parma Wine Consortium and Fipe Parma (Federazione Imprese Ristorazione Intrattenimento Turismo). It tells a precise choice: the next 30 years of Malvasia is being built now\, giving space to those who are entering the vineyard\, the cellar and the hall. \n“Thirty years ago we began to give voice to a wine that was the heritage of the producers and deserved to become the heritage of the territory. Today that voice is clear. Cosèta Malvagiovani serves to make sure that it remains clear even in another thirty years\, told by those who will come after us\,” says Aldo Stucchi\, president of the Pro Loco of Sala Baganza. \nThe historical awards: Cosèta d’Or and Perlén’na d’Or\nThe Festival’s historic award\, the Cosèta d’Or\, a prize for the best dry sparkling Malvasia in the area\, remains up for grabs: the last edition was won for the third year in a row by theCerdelli winery\, a sign of consolidating quality. Alongside\, the Perlén’na d’Or is confirmed\, dedicated to the best interpretation of sparkling Malvasia: introduced in 2025 and won by theLamoretti company\, it intercepts a growing trend in aperitifs and at the table. \n“In 30 years\, the Festival has united a community around Rocca Sanvitale and the food and wine identity of Sala Baganza. It is a heritage of relationships\, work and hospitality that today speaks to a national audience and brings value to the territory well beyond the two days of the event. Our commitment as a municipality is to make it grow further\,” added Aldo Spina\, Mayor of Sala Baganza. \nMalvasia di Candia Aromatica in brief \nA white grape vine of probable Greek origin-the name recalls Candia\, an ancient Venetian toponym for the island of Crete-Malvasia di Candia Aromatica is now grown mainly in the hills of Parma and Piacenza\, with presences in Oltrepò Pavese\, the Scandiano and Canossa hills. It is distinguished from other Malvasias by an unmistakable aromatic profile: citrus\, white flowers (acacia\, freesia\, lavender)\, yellow-fleshed fruit and a characteristic nutmeg note. \nOn the Colli di Parma it is the flagship grape of the DOC of the same name\, recognized since 1938: in the Malvasia type it accounts for at least 85 percent of the blend.
\nGli appuntamenti di Sabato 16 maggio\n\nLanghe and Roero | Bra (CN)\nLiguria | Made Space – Luni (SP)\nMarche | Mole Vanvitelliana of Ancona (AN)\nPiacenza | Az. SUMMARY:Rose Rosé 2026
DESCRIPTION:Rose Rosé returns to Rome: 4th Edition lights up the cityMay 11-17\, including wine\, fashion and art\nFrom May 11 to 17\, with highlight events on the 13th and 14th\, Via Borgognona is transformed into an experiential pathway with tastings\, boutiques and floral installations\, with Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo as the absolute protagonist and a program full of novelties designed to win over not only wine lovers but also contemporary lifestyle enthusiasts. \nFourth edition\, same soul and new vibes: Rose Rosé returns to Rome to celebrate the month of roses with an experience that conquers the palate and seduces the eye\, inviting everyone to be transported into a world where pink becomes emotion\, style and storytelling. In May\, when the city lights up with light and the gardens are tinged with the first blooms\, one of the most original events of the spring season comes to life\, capable of renewing itself over time without losing its identity. \nThe event\, promoted by the Matrix Association and MKTG Advisor\, continues to successfully narrate an original and recognizable formula\, enriched by novelties that enliven the program and ignite the curiosity of an increasingly broad audience: not only wine enthusiasts\, but also lovers of fashion\, art and immersive experiences. \nFrom May 11 to 17\, with highlights on the 13th and 14th\, Rose Rosé is preparing to take the city by storm once again with a calendar full of events designed to offer an engaging journey between tastings\, shopping experiences\, art and lifestyle\, in a harmonious and contemporary balance. \nAt the center of this edition is once again the allure of rosé wine\, in its many nuances and declinations\, but also a broader idea of the event: an immersive journey that interweaves taste and beauty\, tradition and trends. \nThe exceptional setting will again be Via Borgognona\, the beating heart of Altagamma shopping in Rome\, with its French-influenced historic architecture and prestigious international boutiques. For the occasion\, the street will be transformed into a unique sensory itinerary\, dressing itself in pink and roses thanks to the set-up signed by Flover\, a Neapolitan company specializing in fashion and design. Their scenic wall planters will create a poetic and refined ambience\, enhancing the beauty of roses and recalling the delicate tones of rosé wines in the glass. \nAbout 12 boutiques are involved along the street\, each of which will host individual wineries of the Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo\, the initiative’s exclusive wine partner. The exceptional protagonist will be Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo – the first Italian appellation dedicated exclusively to rosé wines\, born in 2010\, which is now experiencing a golden moment – which will accompany guests on a tasting path among freshness\, fruity aromas and versatility. \nThe experiences will be divided between widespread tastings in the boutiques on May 14 and an invitation-only wine tasting in the halls of the prestigious St. Regis Rome on May 13\, Throughout the itinerary\, qualified sommeliers will guide participants on a sensory journey filled with curiosities\, stories and pairings. \nOnce again this year\, there will be no shortage of space dedicated to art: contemporary artist Elisabetta (Betta) Serena di Lapigio will exhibit her works at the St. Regis Rome\, adding an additional layer of dialogue between aesthetics and perception\, at the Sala del Cinghiale in the Nino dal 1934 restaurant and in some of the participating boutiques. Adding to the vibrancy of the experience\, a collaboration continues with fashion illustrator Aldo Sacchetti\, who will create live portraits of guests through the sketch technique inside selected boutiques. \nRose Rosé thus confirms itself to be much more than a wine event: it is a choral tale made of taste\, beauty and lifestyle\, capable of transforming the city into a diffuse stage where every detail contributes to creating an elegant\, engaging atmosphere that is always in step with the times. \nThe event is sponsored by the Lazio Region\, the Municipality of Rome and Confcommercio imprese per l’Italia\, with the media partnership of RCS Corriere della Sera and the support of partners such as Avis Drive\, Valverde\, Matrix\, Montenapoleone District and Flover. \nFull details of the initiative can be found on the official page

SUMMARY:Sicily en Primeur 2026
DESCRIPTION:Sicilia en Primeur\, international preview of the latest vintage\, returns to Palermo May 11-15\nSicily en Primeur \nSicilia en Primeur is the most important event conceived and organized by “Assovini Sicilia” \nBorn in 2003 as an international preview of the latest vintage\, aimed at the Italian and foreign press. The event aims to introduce the countless facets of Sicilian wine\, through tastings and meetings with producers. But at the same time it presents the places and culture that make up the Sicilian wine tradition\, through enotours in different areas of the island. \nThe winning format of Sicilia en Primeur includes enotours aimed at the press and visits to participating wineries and production territories. These tours include technical tastings\, masterclasses\, talks on topical issues and a conference dedicated to meeting producers and tastings at winery stations. \nChoosing from 12 different itineraries\, press professionals travel to discover the wineries and the territory. In this way\, wine becomes an exclusive key to understanding the extraordinary variety and biodiversity of the island and its historical and cultural heritage\, along with the history of the producers and wineries. \nA kermis that over the years has established itself as a tool to enhance the Sicily brand in the world. The last edition in 2025 involved more than one hundred journalists from all over and fifty-seven member companies. \nThe 2026 edition\nSicilia en Primeur will be held May 11-15\, 2026 in Palermo. \nThe event is open by invitation for industry professionals. \nMore details on the official website www.assovinisicilia.it. \nWine tourism as a strategic lever in Sicily\nIn an international market scenario fraught with uncertainty and complexity\, there is one asset that is increasingly becoming strategically important to wineries’ business and has grown significantly in recent years:wine tourism.>If we look at tourist arrivals in Italy’s main wine-producing areas (from Valdobbiadene to Valpolicella\, from Langhe to Franciacorta\, from Collio to Chianti) in the last five years there have been much higher growths – in terms of percentage changes – than the average for the respective region (net of the capitals/art cities). In the case of Sicily\, taking\, for example\, the municipalities of Mount Etna\, between 2019 and 2024 tourist arrivals grew by 17.4 percent against an average for the entire island of 12.4 percent. \n“Assovini Sicilia is betting on wine tourism. Not only as a strategy but as an asset of wineries that are responding dynamically to the new challenges of the wine world.” Thus commented Mariangela Cambria\, president of Assovini Sicilia\, continuing\, “Wine tourism allows us to tell the story of wine as a cultural product and part of a wider context. Landscape\, stories\, producers and gastronomy coexist. Wine Sicily that today confirms itself as an island capable of intercepting changes and anticipating strategies.” \nWine tourism in Sicily has a much more international character than the average in other Italian wine territories: according to Sicilian producers\, the identikit of the wine tourist who arrives in Sicily is predominantly foreign – particularly from the United States\, Germany and England – has an average age between 40 and 55 years and is not necessarily a wine expert\, which is not a critical issue rather an opportunity to fill a knowledge gap and increase the wine culture of people who\, after the wine tourism experience\, can become ambassadors of the company brand and Sicilian wine territories. \nLooking to the future\, according to the same companies in the coming years\, wine tourists will mainly go in search of personalized experiences and exclusive offers\, immersive and multisensory experiences but also integrated with cultural activities.

SUMMARY:Naples - Vesuvius Wine Day 2026
DESCRIPTION:Vesuvio Wine Day 2026 in the city: The authentic taste of Vesuvius\, including territory\, wine\, culture and gastronomy\nVesuvio Wine Day 2026 will be held on May 10 and 11 in Naples\, at the Complesso Monumentale San Lorenzo Maggiore (Piazza San Gaetano). Organized by the Consortium for the Protection of Vesuvius Wines\, the event was born out of a desire to enhance the territory\, history\, culture and wines of the Vesuvius area. \nTwo days of meetings\, Masterclasses and gastronomic itineraries\, dedicated to the specialized press\, trade operators and enthusiasts. More than 120 wines i from Vesuvius will be tasted. \nThe Vesuvius area\nThe Vesuvius area represents an area with unique characteristics. It is world famous for its history\, scenic beauty and archaeological value. Vine culture has dwelt in these lands since the time of the first Hellenic colonization. It then developed in the Roman period\, with the production of some of the most famous wines of antiquity. Vesuvius has preserved its natural vocation for viticulture over the centuries and today stands as one of the most interesting terroirs in the world. \nThe volcanic soil\, consisting of sands\, pumice and lapilli\, has kept Vesuvius safe from phylloxera\, preserving a heritage of centuries-old vines of high historical value. Even today\, the vines are planted with free-range vines\, using the offshoot method for new plantings to protect the ancient local biotypes. \nThe indissoluble bond with the territory\, has made it possible to preserve the grape varieties historically present in the Vesuvian area. In particular\, we find caprettone and piedirosso-as well as catalanesca\, coda di volpe\, falanghina\, greco\, sciascinoso and aglianico-which have always constituted the ampelographic base of the area’s wines. \nThe sunny\, Mediterranean climate is mitigated by the altitude\, which ensures good temperature fluctuations between day and night temperatures\, favoring the development of intense and elegant aromatic profiles.
\nThe appointments for Saturday\, May 9\n\nChianti Classico San Gimignano | Giabar – Greve in Chianti (FI)\nFriuli Venezia Giulia | Piazza XXIV Maggio – Cormons (GO)\nLatium | Az.
