DESCRIPTION:Vitae in deguSTAZIONE\, a well-established event on the AIS calendar\, transforms the Guide’s presentation into a true celebration of Italian wine\nFollowing last year’s extraordinary turnout—which saw Florence’s Stazione Leopolda host a massive crowd of members\, enthusiasts\, professionals\, and curious visitors— the 2027 Vitae Guide returns on November 14\, 2026\, with the “Vitae in deguSTAZIONE” presentation. It’s an opportunity to taste wines\, meet industry leaders\, share experiences\, and discover stories and regions through the glass. \nThe 2027 edition continues the evolutionary journey begun with Vitae 2026\, showcasing Italian winemaking excellence through four selections of 100 wines each: 100 Great Wines\, 100 Regional Wines\, 100 Breakout Wines\, and 100 Value Wines. At the Leopolda as well\, these four categories will take center stage\, shaping a tasting journey organized around their respective thematic areas. \nThe Theme of the Guida Vitae 2027\n“The Concept of the Vintage: Man and Nature; Cyclicality and Synergy” will accompany the story of a world in which every harvest is the result of a unique dialogue between nature\, the land\, and human labor. \nThe day will also feature a session dedicated to the foreign press\, providing an opportunity to explore the new edition and Italy’s wine heritage as chronicled by *Vitae*. The Florence presentation will be preceded by a major international event: on November 3\, at the prestigious Pall Mall 67 venue in London\, where the English-language edition of the Guide’s selections will be unveiled. \nLa Leopolda will also serve as a space for socializing and fellowship. The stories shared by the producers at the tasting tables will be an integral part of the experience\, which will be complemented by a social room for videos and interviews\, a themed selfie room\, and areas dedicated to bars and dining. \nThe program\n\n10:30 a.m.: Opening to the public with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. DESCRIPTION:Benvenuto Brunello: new vintages take centre stage in Montalcino from 19 to 23 November\, with tastings and events celebrating the region’s wines\nDiscovering the new Brunello vintages\nFrom 19 to 23 November 2026\, Montalcino will host the 35th edition of Benvenuto Brunello\, the event organised by the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino to present the new vintages of Brunello and the other wines produced under the region’s appellations. The event welcomes Italian and international press\, trade professionals and wine enthusiasts\, with dedicated tasting sessions and a programme of talks and in-depth events. \nThe first two days\, 19 and 20 November\, are reserved for accredited members of the press and feature seated\, served tastings in the Cloister of Sant’Agostino\, as well as opportunities to meet the participating wineries. From 21 to 23 November\, walk-around tastings with producers will also be open to wine lovers. \nTastings\, talks and awards\nOn Saturday 21 November\, the Teatro degli Astrusi will host the presentation of the growing season through the Brunello Forma project\, followed by the talk Made in Italy: Building Value Over Time. Identity\, Reputation and Attractiveness\, moderated by Luciano Ferraro\, Deputy Editor of Corriere della Sera. The day will also include the Leccio d’Oro awards ceremony\, organised by the Consorzio to recognise Italian and international restaurants and wine shops with particularly noteworthy wine lists featuring wines from Montalcino. \nThe same day will see the unveiling of the commemorative tile celebrating the 2026 harvest\, created by Vespa to mark the brand’s 80th anniversary.
