SUMMARY:Livorno - Andar per Cantine LIVE
DESCRIPTION:“Andar per Cantine” lights up wine Tuscany: “Andar per Cantine LIVE” debuts in Livorno (March 7-8\, 2026)\nTuscan wine stops being just a tale and becomes an encounter. It happens in Livorno with “Andar per Cantine LIVE\,” the new immersive event signed Enoturistica\, scheduled for Saturday\, March 7 and Sunday\, March 8\, 2026\, at the Officine Storiche at the Porta a Mare Commercial and Residential Complex. \nTwo days designed to get wine tourism “off the pages” and among people. The occasion is given by the presentation of the new 2026 edition of “Andar per Cantine\,” a reference guide to wine tourism in Tuscany that came out with the first edition in 2024 and was built to accompany wine lovers and travelers inside wineries\, villages and territories to be experienced in the field. \nThe format of Andar per Cantine LIVE\nThe format of Andar per Cantine LIVE is that of a narrative journey: at the center is “The Quay\,” a stage for presentations and talks with journalists\, operators and institutions; around it takes shape the”‘Archipelago of Wineries” with tasting counters and mini talks directly with the producers; the”‘Ocean of Wine Destinations” guides the public with maps and multimedia totems through 17 destinations and 68 villages; the “Cruise Experience” instead offers guided tastings with sommeliers in small groups (up to 6 participants)\, for those seeking a more intimate and in-depth pace. \n“With LIVE\, we wanted to create a real bridge between those who love wine and the places where it is born: not just a presentation\, but an experience that gets you into the stories\, people and destinations.” Simone Nannipieri\, the guide’s creator\, event coordinator and wine tourism development consultant\, explains. \nThe location\nAlso noteworthy is the location chosen to host the event: the Officine Storiche di Porta a Mare\, from the heart of shipbuilding to a symbol of urban regeneration\, with Livorno increasingly a candidate to be the gateway to regional food and wine tourism. \n“Andar per Cantine LIVE represents a virtuous example of how food and wine tourism can become a real tool of development for businesses and the territory\,” says Alessandro Ciapini\, director of Confesercenti Provinciale Livorno. \nThe “Andar per Cantine” Guide\nGiving the measure of the project are the guide’s numbers: 137 selected wineries and more than 400 experiences including tastings\, tours\, meetings\, grape harvest and special activities\, with an offer that photographs the evolution of winery hospitality: tastings in 100 percent of cases\, wine shops in 95.6 percent\, proposals with Tuscan cuisine in 66.2 percent\, agritourism in 49.6 percent and wine resorts in 30.9 percent. Among the formulas\, group tours dominate (98.5%)\, but private (39.4%) and customized (18.9%) tours are also growing\, while 36% of wineries offer “WOW” experiences. On the price front\, 26.3 percent stay within 50 euros\, 49.6 percent are between 50 and 150 euros and 13.1 percent in the high range; 33.1 percent highlight sustainability initiatives\, while 3.6 percent report experiences usable by people with disabilities (given by sites). \nUseful information\n\nWhen: Saturday\, March 7 and Sunday\, March 8\, 2026\nHours: Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.\, Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.\nWhere: at the Historic Workshops of the Porta a Mare Commercial and Residential Complex\nOfficial website: andarpercantine.live

SUMMARY:Alberese - mareMMa\, the Nature of Wine 2026
DESCRIPTION:mareMMMa\, the Nature of Wine: Maremma\, Montecucco and Morellino di Scansano together again in Alberese\, for the first time over two days-Sunday\, March 1 and Monday\, March 2-to tell the story of the Tuscan Maremma’s wine excellence \nAfter the great success of the previous Maremma editions and the successful debut of the Florentine stage last fall\, “mareMMa\, the Nature of Wine” returns to Alberese\, in the province of Grosseto\, with an important novelty. In 2026\, in fact\, the event doubles and for the first time will be held over two days: Sunday\, March 1 for wine lovers and Monday\, March 2 exclusively for operators. \nA new format designed to respond to the growing demand for participation encountered over the years and to offer an increasingly wide audience the opportunity to take part in what is confirming itself as one of the industry’s benchmark events. \nThe event\nThe event\, which reaches its 7th edition this year\, was born from the synergy between the Consortia of the three Tuscan Maremma Denominations – Tuscan Maremma\, Montecucco e Morellino di Scansano – and presents a wide selection of labels representative of this still unspoiled territory with great quality potential. \nIn the now traditional location of the central hall of the Lorenese Granary of Spergolaia\, wine enthusiasts and operators will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with producers and their wine proposal. A unique opportunity\, with a great educational and informative impact\, that promotes the excellence of a rising territory in which terroirs different from each other but united by the soul of a millennial winemaking tradition give rise to an extensive and varied offer of red\, white and rosé wines. \nThe event again for this edition is organized by MExTE Eventi\, professionals in organizing public and private events. \nThe program\nThe date to mark in your agenda is March 1 and 2.\, with admission – free but with prior online registration – as follows: \n\nSunday\, March 1 from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Afternoon dedicated to enthusiasts. The consortium now has 475 member wineries\, with an annual production of 7.5 million bottles. Native grape varieties-Vermentino\, Ciliegiolo\, Canaiolo nero\, Alicante\, Sangiovese\, Pugnitello\, Trebbiano\, Ansonica\, Malvasia-have been joined by international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon\, Cabernet franc\, Merlot\, Syrah\, Viognier\, Sauvignon\, Chardonnay and Petit Verdot. \nWeb site: www.consorziovinimaremma.it \nFacebook: https://it-it.facebook.com/ConsorzioViniMaremmaToscana/ \nConsortium for the Protection of Montecucco Wines\nThe wines of Montecucco\, an area that comes to life where the soft shapes of the Tuscan Maremma quickly give way to the slopes of Mount Amiata\, are made from grapes grown in the 7 municipalities of the Denominazione di origine controllata e garantita\, the DOCG in effect since September 2011: Arcidosso\, Campagnatico\, Castel del Piano\, Cinigiano\, Civitella Paganico\, Roccalbegna and Seggiano. The appellation\, groups 68 companies. The area\, highly vocated to the production of Sangiovese\, enjoys extremely favorable climatic conditions\, close to the Tyrrhenian Sea – from which it is only a few kilometers away as the crow flies – and to the now extinct volcano Amiata\, which with its 1\,738 meters high dominates the entire territory between Maremma\, Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana. \nWeb site: www.consorziomontecucco.it \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MontecuccoSangioveseDocg/ \nConsorzio Tutela Morellino di Scansano\nThe Consorzio Tutela Morellino di Scansano was founded in 1992 with the aim of protecting and promoting Morellino di Scansano DOCG\, ensuring compliance with the production regulations and offering support to members on the main issues in the sector. Recognition of the DOCG\, obtained from the 2007 vintage\, marked a milestone on the path of growth and consolidation of the appellation. The consortium now has 205 members. The regulations require the use of at least 85 percent Sangiovese. Average annual production is about 9.5 million bottles\, placing Morellino di Scansano among the Tuscan DOCGs most present on the national market\, with a constantly growing export share. \nWeb site: www.consorziomorellino.it \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ConsorzioTutelaMorellinoDiScansano

The event will take place at theBorro Amphitheater\, in the heart of the province of Arezzo\, offering journalists a full immersion in one of the most interesting and dynamic territories of Tuscan viticulture. \nValdarno di Sopra DOC\nValdarno di Sopra DOC is a young appellation\, officially recognized in 2011\, but with deep roots in Tuscany’s winemaking history. The vineyards stretch along the course of the Arno River in the triangle between Florence\, Siena and Arezzo\, an area that has been devoted to grape growing for centuries. \nThe appellation is distinguished by a strong territorial identity and a shared production vision based on respect for the environment and the enhancement of native grape varieties. DESCRIPTION:Chianti Lovers & Rosso Morellino 2026: Feb. 19 in Florence preview reserved for the press\nChianti Lovers & Rosso Morellino\, the preview event dedicated to the presentation of the new vintages of Chianti D.O.C.G. and Morellino di Scansano D.O.C.G.\, is back on Feb. 19\, 2026\, at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence\, and is included in the official calendar of Tuscany Preview Week. \nAs was the case in 2025\, the 2026 edition will also be exclusively reserved for the Italian and international press\, with a format focused on technical tasting. The event will be held with an à la carte sommelier service\, without the direct presence of the producers and without the traditional exhibition hall being set up. SUMMARY:Panzano in Chianti - Vino al Vino 2025
DESCRIPTION:Vino al Vino 2025: On Sept. 19\, 20 and 21\, Panzano in Chianti celebrates the territory and 30 years of the Union of\nWinemakers\nThe Union of Winegrowers of Panzano in Chianti\nFrom September 19 to 21\, 2025 Vino al Vino\, the annual event that brings together the wineries of the Union of Winegrowers of Panzano\, returns to Panzano in Chianti. An event dedicated to wine-making excellence\, territorial identity and direct dialogue between producers and the public. \nThis year’s edition takes on a special significance. In fact\, it marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Union of Winegrowers of Panzano in Chianti\, established in 1995 on the occasion of the first edition of Vino al Vino. The Union of Winegrowers of Panzano in Chianti was the first winegrowers’ association founded in the Chianti Classico territory\, with the intention of promoting viticulture that respects the environment and is deeply rooted in the land that generates it. \nDuring the event\, visitors will be able to taste a selection of more than 80 labels between Chianti Classico and IGT\, confronting themselves directly with the producers present. A unique opportunity to discover the fruit of work based on consistency\, quality and sustainability. \nToday the Panzano Winegrowers’ Union represents almost the entire UGA (Additional Geographical Unit) of Panzano with a vineyard area of 595 hectares. Currently 95% of the vineyards are certified organic. This is an extraordinary achievement\, the result of a journey that began in 2012 when Panzano was recognized as Italy’s first viticultural biodistrict with 60 percent of the vineyard area already converted to organic. A pioneering model that set the standard and still represents a point of reference in the national wine scene. \nThe work of the Union has been accompanied from the beginning by a strong spirit of collaboration. The founding companies1 created a collective project that networked skills and values\, building over the years a shared identity capable of enhancing the quality of the wines and the authentic link between land\, culture and tradition. \nThanks also to the constant dialogue with the SPEVIS Experimental Station\, the Panzano area has become a true laboratory of sustainable viticulture\, capable of combining enological excellence\, biodiversity protection and agronomic innovation. \nVino al Vino 2025 confirms the centrality of this journey\, celebrating with visitors 30 years of history\, community and love of wine. \nThe event\nAppointment in Piazza Bucciarelli\, Panzano in Chianti (FI)\, with 22 participating wineries – more than 80 wines for tasting \nOpening hours: \n\nFriday\, September 19: 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.\nSaturday\, September 20: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.\nSunday\, September 21: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.\n\nOnline presale with 10% discount at www.viticoltoripanzano.com\nUnder the patronage of the Municipality of Greve in Chianti

SUMMARY:Jazz & Wine in Montalcino
DESCRIPTION:Jazz & Wine in Montalcino: the festival born from the collaboration between the Banfi winery\, the Rubei family of the Alexanderplatz in Rome and the Municipality of Montalcino is back\nJazz & Wine in Montalcino. Great artists and quality glasses in a magical atmosphere to celebrate the happy union between jazz music and the city of Brunello. \nFor the 28th edition\, the festival presents a program featuring artists such as Enrico Pieranunzi\, Kenny Barron\, Malika Ayane\, Nicola Piovani\, Fabrizio Bosso and Javier Girotto\, Avishai Cohen \nFrom July 22 to 27\, Jazz & Wine in Montalcino returns.\nNow in its 28th year\, the festival is a collaboration between the renowned Banfi winery\, the Rubei family of the Alexanderplatz Jazz Club in Rome and the Municipality of Montalcino. \nIn these 28 years\, thanks to its original formula\, in which a cultural reality such as Alexanderplatz and a true patron such as Banfi collaborate side by side\, Jazz & Wine in Montalcino has attracted many of the most famous international and Italian jazz artists to its stage. Artistic direction by Eugenio Rubei\, who follows in the wake of the vision of its longtime artistic director\, Giampiero Rubei. The festival offers space for the most diverse proposals of the international jazz scene\, opening up to sporadic forays into pop: a mix of languages that wins and convinces by consecrating this billboard as one of the most beloved ever\, followed by an audience that – over time – continues to grow. \nTuesday\, July 22\nIt starts on Tuesday\, July 22\, in the picturesque setting of Castello Banfi\, with LEGEND OF JAZZ KENNY BARRON TRIO. Considered one of the world’s greatest jazz pianists\, celebrated for his lyrical and refined style\, Barron has recorded more than forty albums as a leader. He has also received numerous awards\, including 13 Grammy nominations and the title of NEA Jazz Master. For more than a decade he has led a close-knit trio with Kiyoshi Kitagawa on double bass and Johnathan Blake on drums. \nWednesday\, July 23\nOn Wednesday\, July 23\, also at Castello Banfi\, comes ENRICO PIERANUNZI TRIO. On stage alongside the well-known pianist\, an absolute excellence of Italian jazz\, will be Francesco Petreni\, a Sienese drummer of remarkable technical-musical quality\, and the phenomenal Danish double bassist Thomas Fonnesbaek\, with whom he has a long-standing collaboration from which intense and overwhelming albums have resulted. A trio not to be missed\, considered among the best European ensembles. \nThursday\, July 24 \nOn Thursday\, July 24 \, the festival moves to the medieval walls of the Montalcino Fortress where\, exclusively for Tuscany\, singer-songwriter MALIKA AYANE will perform. With five appearances at the Sanremo Festival\, she has won two “Mia Martini Critics’ Awards.” Six albums and numerous collaborations with artists such as Bocelli\, Cremonini\, Jazzanova\, to celebrate her fifteen-year career she is back live with Malika Ayane at Teatro 2024. \n Friday\, July 25\nA performance of great stature will take place on Friday\, July 25. On stage NICOLA PIOVANI ORCHESTRA with “Notes on the Margin\,” a kind of autobiographical tale commissioned from Nicola Piovani by the Cannes Film Festival in 2003 (under the title “Leçon Concert”). In the wake of memories and anecdotes\, the Maestro retraces some of the great encounters that have marked his path. From Federico Fellini\, fondly remembered for his small foibles and mastery as a director\, from the Taviani to Vincenzo Cerami and Roberto Benigni\, with episodes narrated with lightness and sincerity. Life experiences between music\, cinema\, and theater that Piovani recounts by accompanying them with the notes of his piano\, along with saxophone and double bass. Telling in music helps to understand the meaning of the tale of Piovani who emphasized “I do not remember a single moment in my life when there was not music.” \nThe concert is in collaboration with Winenews\, which strongly wanted the great artist in Montalcino\, on the Jazz & Wine stage. \nSaturday\, July 26\nOn Saturday\, July 26\, ahead of their 20th anniversary\, “Latin Mood\,” a group led by JAVIER GIROTTO and FABRIZIO BOSSO with “Desde cuando\,” return to the stage of Jazz & Wine in Montalcino. A new album\, a renewed opportunity to produce new music in that infinitely varied language that is Latin Jazz. In the concert\, along with new compositions\, there will be no shortage of the group’s historical songs from previous albums\, “Sol” and “Vamos.” \nThe 28th edition of Jazz & Wine in Montalcino closes on Sunday\, July 27. Featuring AVISHAI COHEN QUARTET\, one of the most original and acclaimed trumpet players on the world contemporary jazz scene\, known for his personal sound and constant artistic research. Joining him on stage are Jonathan Avishai on piano\, Yoni Zelnik on double bass and Ziv Ravitz on drums. His music continues to push the boundaries of traditional jazz\, establishing him as one of the most innovative voices of his generation. \nGeneral Information\nArtistic direction: Eugenio Rubei (Alexanderplatz Jazz Club in Rome\, Sound&Image) \nAll Jazz & Wine in Montalcino performances will begin at 9:45 p.m. \nFor information \njazzandwinemontalcino.it \nfoundationbanfi.co.uk \nReservations at Vivaticket.com link – Infoline: 892 234

SUMMARY:Siena - For a great white wine from inland Tuscany
DESCRIPTION:“For a great white wine from inland Tuscany”: at the Enoteca Italiana on July 18\, the challenge launched for tomorrow’s consumers\n\n“For a Great White Wine of Inland Tuscany.” A day of study\, starting at 10:30 a.m. July 18\, with an ambitious goal: to identify grape varieties and production processes capable of creating a great white wine in central Tuscany\, a land of great reds \nThe event is promoted by the Italian Academy of Vine and Wine\, Enoteca Italiana Siena\, Donne del Vino della Toscana and Ais Toscana \nJuly 18 at the Medici Fortress in Siena a study day\nOn July 18 at the Fortezza Medicea in Siena a study day “For a great white wine of inland Tuscany.” The title also represents the objective of this initiative promoted by the Italian Academy of Vine and Wine\, Donne del Vino of Tuscany and Enoteca Italiana Siena involving the main players in the supply chain not only in the region. \nAn area rich in great and emblazoned reds\, that of central Tuscany\, but which must look to the consumers of tomorrow by also focusing on a white wine of great character and quality\, starting with sharing between the scientific world and producers. \nAn ambitious project that finds substance on an important day for wine Tuscany. “Our region has a prevalence of red grape vines dominated by Sangiovese (65 percent)\, while the Italian and international market is turning to white wines\,” says Donatella Cinelli Colombini\, Delegate of the Donne del Vino of Tuscany\, “this criticality is among the reasons for the drop in sales of Tuscan wineries that has continued since 2022. The Tuscan coast successfully produces Vermentino and Ansonica while the historic white grape variety of the inland area\, Trebbiano Toscano (6.5 percent of the regional vineyard) is the only Italian white grape variety to lose hectares (-5 percent between 2005 and 2021). An abandonment perhaps linked to the lack of clonal selection and the use of production methods incapable of bringing out its quality potential. \nSiena’s central role\nThe appointment solemnizes the reopening of the Enoteca Italiana after more than a decade since its closure and is also intended to highlight the scientific potential of the Italian Academy of Vine and Wine\, which was founded in Siena on July 30\, 1949 and remained with its secretariat in this city until the end of the twentieth century. In short\, it is a reaffirmation of Siena’s role as the capital and engine of a great wine district. Working on the project are the Mayor of the city of Siena\, Nicoletta Fabio and the President of the Chamber of Commerce Massimo Guasconi in this case also represented by the Women’s Entrepreneurship Committee with Elisa Marcheselli. >”The presence in our premises of the Academy of Vine and Wine\, which was born in Siena itself 75 years ago\, and the Women of Wine Association is a moment of the highest symbolic value\, says Enoteca Italiana Siena President Elena D’Aquanno. It is a return to the origins of an oenological thought that has always combined science\, passion and vision. After years of silence\, with this event we return to being a living place of culture\, research and discussion. It is a strong signal: the culture of wine that thinks and innovates starts again from Siena.” \n“As an Academy we must support initiatives like this with the scientific input that characterizes us”-explains the President of the Italian Academy of Vine and Wine\, Rosario Di Lorenzo. “Doing so in this rediscovered venue and in this city that saw the birth of our project decades ago takes on an even more symbolic value that\, I hope\, does not end with just this initiative.” \nThe rich program of the initiative.\nThe study day at the Enoteca Italiana will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a tasting led by Cristiano Cini president of AIS Toscana. The tasting will feature 11 white wines produced by Donne del Vino in the inland part of the region using indigenous grape varieties (also blended with international grapes) and different winemaking techniques (registration required subject to availability). Widespread and spontaneous experimentation done by Miriam Caporali of Tenuta Valdipiatta\, Beatrice Contini Buonacossi of Tenuta di Capezzana\, Caterina Dei of Cantine Dei\, Cristiana Grati of Azienda Agricola Borgo Prunatelli\, Antonella Manuli of Fattoria La Maliosa\, Clara Monaci of Corte Dei Venti\, Lucia Mori of Podere Casaccia\, Annabella Pascale of Tenuta Di Artimino\, Veronica Passerin D’Entrèves of Dianella\, Mina Samouti of Fattoria Sardi\, Aurora Visentin of Cantina Del Testimone.\nThe presentation of the wines will be followed by a scientific conference\, at 2:30 p.m.\, led by Giovanni Pellicci\, editor of “I Grandi Vini” magazine. It is the starting point for research by Tuscan viticulture and oenology universities and Crea. And it is also the key point for looking to the future. Scholars from the Italian Academy of Vine and Wine\, Claudio D’Onofrio University of Pisa\, Giovan Battista Mattii University of Florence\, Paolo Storchi Crea\, Angela Zinnai oenologist University of Pisa\, will bring their contributions on current knowledge. \nThe goal of the day\nThe goal of this day will be\, as mentioned\, ambitious: to endow central Tuscany with a great white wine with distinctive characters. The Region of Tuscany\, which will be represented by the apex executives of the Department of Agriculture – Roberto Scalacci and Gennaro Giliberti – intends to support it and aim very high. It will be up to the Tuscan Wine Consortium with its President Cesare Cecchi to hold the reins of a path of research and experimentation in the footsteps of the “Chianti Classico 2000” project that in the second half of the 20th century gave Tuscany the Sangiovese clones for its great current red wines. \nTo attend the study day\, make reservations by sending an email to accademiaitalianavitevino@gmail.com

SUMMARY:Chianti Lovers Week
DESCRIPTION:Chianti Lovers Week\, from May 5 to 11 across Tuscany comes the first widespread event dedicated to Chianti Docg\nThe Chianti Wine Consortium’s event: more than 40 initiatives including tastings\, treks\, visits to wineries and the grand finale at the Manifattura Tabacchi on Sunday\, May 11. President Busi: “We want to tell the story of wine in a new way\, leaving institutional contexts to meet people in the places of their daily lives” Chianti goes in search of its lovers. \nFrom May 5 to 11\, the Chianti Wine Consortium is launching the first edition of Chianti Lovers Week\, a week of widespread events that will bring Chianti Docg to the streets\, venues\, places of culture and conviviality in Florence and throughout Tuscany. Lovers will not be the ones looking for Chianti but\, for the first time\, Chianti will be going to them. \nA new and dynamic way to tell the identity of one of the most iconic Italian wines\, including tastings\, immersive experiences and contaminations with cinema\, art and music. Responding to the Consortium’s call were more than 40 entities including restaurants\, wine shops and wineries\, ready to celebrate Chianti in its special week. And alongside the official appointments taken care of directly by the Consortium\, there is a rich program of independent events that cross the entire region: from Impruneta to Empoli\, from Pisa to Arezzo\, from Siena to Montepulciano\, Chianti will be the protagonist in tasting dinners\, themed aperitifs\, trekking between the rows and cellar visits organized by historic producers and young realities. \n7 days\, more than 40 events spread all over Tuscany. In particular:\nOn Tuesday\, May 6\, Chianti will headline the “Shopping Night” at La Rinascente\, in partnership with Savino del Bene Volleyball\, for a special toast with the team returning from the Champions League Final Four. \nThursday\, May 8\, comes the “Wine & Cinema Experience” event at Nana Bianca: an immersive masterclass between tastings and cult movie scenes in which Chianti is the protagonist. Saturday\, May 10\, spotlight on the former Monastery of St. Ursula with “Rewriting History”: guided tours\, live art and tastings at an extraordinary site that opens exceptionally to the public. \nGrand finale on Sunday\, May 11 at the Manifattura Tabacchi with the “Chianti Lovers Closing Party”: a party open to the public among free tastings\, excellent street food\, swing and vintage DJ set with La Màquina Parlante and dancers from Studio Swing 22 Florence. The ticket includes screen-printed goblet and glass bag to enjoy the experience in style. \n“With Chianti Lovers Week we want to tell the story of our wine in a new way\, leaving institutional contexts to meet people in the places of their daily lives\,” explains Giovanni Busi\, president of the Chianti Wine Consortium. “It is a celebration\, of course\, but also an act of trust in the vitality of our territory\, in a wine culture that knows how to evolve without losing its roots. In this week\, Chianti will be everywhere: close\, accessible\, shareable. Just the way we like it.” \nChianti Lovers Week is promoted by the Chianti Wine Consortium. \nFind out the full program and purchase tickets online. Full details at: www.chiantiloversweek.it
