SUMMARY:Tortèl & Gropèl 2026 at Lasterosse Winery
DESCRIPTION:Tortèl & Gropèl 2026\, the authentic taste of Val di Non: \, every weekend until March 1 potato tortèl\, Groppello\, dedicated menus\, restaurants and masterclasses.\nUntil March 1\, 2026\, Val di Non celebrates one of its most beloved gastronomic rituals with Tortèl & Gropèl\, the food and wine festival dedicated to potato tortèl\, a symbol of conviviality in the valleys of the Noce River\, and Groppello\, an indigenous red wine that tells the area’s most authentic winemaking story. \nAn appointment that is renewed every weekend\, transforming restaurants\, agritourisms and wineries into meeting places where tradition\, taste and local identity meet at the table. \nOn the calendar of events\, a new masterclass is scheduled for Saturday\, Feb. 28 \, at Cantina Lasterosse in Romallo\, designed for those who want to discover-or rediscover-the secrets of traditional Nonesa cuisine. \nPotato tortèl: the dish of conviviality\nTortèl is not only a gastronomic specialty\, but a true collective ritual. Served at the center of the table in large steaming trays\, it is accompanied by the symbolic products of the valley: cheeses from local dairies\, lucanica\, speck\, mortandela\, carne salada\, to the ever-present cabbage and borlotti bean salad. Each diner constructs his or her own dish\, making the moment of dinner a convivial\, informal experience deeply linked to local culture. \nGroppello\, the “heroic” wine of Val di Non\nNext to tortèl\, the star in the glass is Groppello\, a rare grape variety grown by only five families on steep\, terraced slopes overlooking Lake Santa Giustina. It is an elegant\, spicy wine with vibrant freshness\, capable of enhancing every mouthful and telling\, sip after sip\, the patient and courageous work of the valley’s winemakers. \nTortèl & Gropèl Menus.\nAll participating establishments offer a dedicated menu\, featuring potato cakes and local products\, enriched by personal interpretations: pokies\, sauerkraut\, peperonata\, homemade jams or traditional desserts. Many restaurants also offer gluten-free options\, always by reservation. \nThe review involves numerous restaurants and agritourisms in the Non Valley\, active on weekends or for selected periods. A complete and updated list of participating establishments is available on the official Visit Val di Non website. \nFor every Tortèl & Gropèl menu purchased\, guests receive a 10% discount voucher for the purchase of Groppello and other local wines at participating wineries\, valid until March 31\, 2026. \nTortèl & Gropèl Masterclass – Lasterosse Winery (Romallo) – Saturday\, February 28\, 2026\nThe masterclass on Saturday\, February 28\, 2026 takes place at Cantina Lasterosse (Romallo). After a welcome toast\, the chef walks participants through the preparation of tortèi: from choosing the potatoes to grating\, from kneading the dough to frying\, and the perfect browning. This is followed by a tasting of the tortèi prepared together\, paired with salumi and cheeses from the valley and a glass of Groppello. \n\nWhen: Saturday\, February 28\, 2026\nWhere: Lasterosse Winery – Romallo (Val di Non)\nTime: 4:30 pm\nDuration: about 2 hours\n\n\nParticipation in the masterclass is by reservation only\, with registration open until 5 p.m. the day before \nFull details about the Tortèl & Gropèl festival and upcoming events are available on the official website: www.visitvaldinon.it

SUMMARY:Alberese - mareMMa\, the Nature of Wine 2026
DESCRIPTION:mareMMMa\, the Nature of Wine: Maremma\, Montecucco and Morellino di Scansano together again in Alberese\, for the first time over two days-Sunday\, March 1 and Monday\, March 2-to tell the story of the Tuscan Maremma’s wine excellence \nAfter the great success of the previous Maremma editions and the successful debut of the Florentine stage last fall\, “mareMMa\, the Nature of Wine” returns to Alberese\, in the province of Grosseto\, with an important novelty. In 2026\, in fact\, the event doubles and for the first time will be held over two days: Sunday\, March 1 for wine lovers and Monday\, March 2 exclusively for operators. \nA new format designed to respond to the growing demand for participation encountered over the years and to offer an increasingly wide audience the opportunity to take part in what is confirming itself as one of the industry’s benchmark events. \nThe event\nThe event\, which reaches its 7th edition this year\, was born from the synergy between the Consortia of the three Tuscan Maremma Denominations – Tuscan Maremma\, Montecucco e Morellino di Scansano – and presents a wide selection of labels representative of this still unspoiled territory with great quality potential. \nIn the now traditional location of the central hall of the Lorenese Granary of Spergolaia\, wine enthusiasts and operators will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with producers and their wine proposal. A unique opportunity\, with a great educational and informative impact\, that promotes the excellence of a rising territory in which terroirs different from each other but united by the soul of a millennial winemaking tradition give rise to an extensive and varied offer of red\, white and rosé wines. \nThe event again for this edition is organized by MExTE Eventi\, professionals in organizing public and private events. \nThe program\nThe date to mark in your agenda is March 1 and 2.\, with admission – free but with prior online registration – as follows: \n\nSunday\, March 1 from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Afternoon dedicated to enthusiasts. The consortium now has 475 member wineries\, with an annual production of 7.5 million bottles. Native grape varieties-Vermentino\, Ciliegiolo\, Canaiolo nero\, Alicante\, Sangiovese\, Pugnitello\, Trebbiano\, Ansonica\, Malvasia-have been joined by international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon\, Cabernet franc\, Merlot\, Syrah\, Viognier\, Sauvignon\, Chardonnay and Petit Verdot. \nWeb site: www.consorziovinimaremma.it \nFacebook: https://it-it.facebook.com/ConsorzioViniMaremmaToscana/ \nConsortium for the Protection of Montecucco Wines\nThe wines of Montecucco\, an area that comes to life where the soft shapes of the Tuscan Maremma quickly give way to the slopes of Mount Amiata\, are made from grapes grown in the 7 municipalities of the Denominazione di origine controllata e garantita\, the DOCG in effect since September 2011: Arcidosso\, Campagnatico\, Castel del Piano\, Cinigiano\, Civitella Paganico\, Roccalbegna and Seggiano. The appellation\, groups 68 companies. The area\, highly vocated to the production of Sangiovese\, enjoys extremely favorable climatic conditions\, close to the Tyrrhenian Sea – from which it is only a few kilometers away as the crow flies – and to the now extinct volcano Amiata\, which with its 1\,738 meters high dominates the entire territory between Maremma\, Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana. \nWeb site: www.consorziomontecucco.it \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MontecuccoSangioveseDocg/ \nConsorzio Tutela Morellino di Scansano\nThe Consorzio Tutela Morellino di Scansano was founded in 1992 with the aim of protecting and promoting Morellino di Scansano DOCG\, ensuring compliance with the production regulations and offering support to members on the main issues in the sector. Recognition of the DOCG\, obtained from the 2007 vintage\, marked a milestone on the path of growth and consolidation of the appellation. The consortium now has 205 members. The regulations require the use of at least 85 percent Sangiovese. Average annual production is about 9.5 million bottles\, placing Morellino di Scansano among the Tuscan DOCGs most present on the national market\, with a constantly growing export share. \nWeb site: www.consorziomorellino.it \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/ConsorzioTutelaMorellinoDiScansano

SUMMARY:The Art of Italian Terroir\, DoctorWine presents Lorenzo Landi in Brussels.
DESCRIPTION:The Art of Italian Terroir – Italian wine as told by those who create it\n📍 Brussels\, La Maison du Cygne – March 3\n\nTwo DoctorWine seminars led by Lorenzo Landi (1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.) \nWalk around tasting (h. 13-17)\n\nDoctorWine is pleased to present in Brussels a new project dedicated to the international promotion of Italian wine\, featuring oenologist Lorenzo Landi\, special guest speaker at a day-long tasting event with two seminars reserved for industry professionals\, trade press and advanced wine enthusiasts. \nThe initiative was created with a clear objective: to tell the story of wine through the direct voice of those who create it\, focusing on the work of the winemaker\, his vision and the deep connection with the territories in which he works.\nDuring the seminar\, Lorenzo Landi will lead participants on a tasting journey through some of the most significant expressions of the Italian vineyard\, the result of his technical consultancy. \nWith more than 25 years of experience\, a background in Agricultural Sciences and a specialization in Enology at the University of Bordeaux\, Lorenzo Landi is now recognized as one of the most influential figures on the contemporary Italian wine scene. His work has contributed to the growth and affirmation of numerous wineries in Tuscany\, Umbria\, Sicily and other important wine territories\, always respecting the identity of places and varieties. \nA non-invasive philosophy of excellence\nThe heart of the seminars will be Lorenzo Landi’s winemaking philosophy\, founded on theexaltation of terroir. Far from the idea of an “imposed style\,” his approach is distinguished by a discreet\, almost “invisible” presence that allows soil\, climate and grape variety to express themselves fully in the glass. \n“Our goal is not just to produce great wines\, but wines that are authentic expressions of their origin\,” says Lorenzo Landi. “In Brussels we present wineries that share this vision\, capable of combining tradition\, technical knowledge and modern\, sustainable winemaking practices.” \nDoctorWine: content\, authority\, dialogue\nDoctorWine curates the entire project by providing its internationally recognized editorial\, popular and educational expertise. \nThe presence of Lorenzo Landi\, combined with the authoritativeness of the DoctorWine brand\, represents a significant added value to create opportunities for discussion and relationship in foreign markets\, offering a deep and contemporary key to Italian wine: not only product\, but culture\, territory and vision. \nThese are the producers in attendance\n\nCantine Giorgio Lungarotti (Torgiano\, Umbria)\nCol di Bacche (Magliano\, Tuscany)\nCollelceto (Montalcino\, Tuscany)\nCottanera (Castiglione di Sicilia\, Sicily)\nFiorentino (Paternopoli\, Campania)\nGiancarlo Ceci (Andria\, Apulia)\nGiuseppe Gabbas (Oliena\, Sardinia)\nLe Bertille (Montepulciano\, Tuscany)\nPala (Serdiana\, Sardinia)\nTenuta di Lilliano (Castellina in Chianti\, Tuscany)\nTenuta di Sesta (Montalcino\, Tuscany)\nRocca delle Macie Estate (Castellina in Chianti\, Tuscany)\nVecchia Cantina di Montepulciano (Montepulciano\, Tuscany)

SUMMARY:Livorno - Andar per Cantine LIVE
DESCRIPTION:“Andar per Cantine” lights up wine Tuscany: “Andar per Cantine LIVE” debuts in Livorno (March 7-8\, 2026)\nTuscan wine stops being just a tale and becomes an encounter. It happens in Livorno with “Andar per Cantine LIVE\,” the new immersive event signed Enoturistica\, scheduled for Saturday\, March 7 and Sunday\, March 8\, 2026\, at the Officine Storiche at the Porta a Mare Commercial and Residential Complex. \nTwo days designed to get wine tourism “off the pages” and among people. The occasion is given by the presentation of the new 2026 edition of “Andar per Cantine\,” a reference guide to wine tourism in Tuscany that came out with the first edition in 2024 and was built to accompany wine lovers and travelers inside wineries\, villages and territories to be experienced in the field. \nThe format of Andar per Cantine LIVE\nThe format of Andar per Cantine LIVE is that of a narrative journey: at the center is “The Quay\,” a stage for presentations and talks with journalists\, operators and institutions; around it takes shape the”‘Archipelago of Wineries” with tasting counters and mini talks directly with the producers; the”‘Ocean of Wine Destinations” guides the public with maps and multimedia totems through 17 destinations and 68 villages; the “Cruise Experience” instead offers guided tastings with sommeliers in small groups (up to 6 participants)\, for those seeking a more intimate and in-depth pace. \n“With LIVE\, we wanted to create a real bridge between those who love wine and the places where it is born: not just a presentation\, but an experience that gets you into the stories\, people and destinations.” Simone Nannipieri\, the guide’s creator\, event coordinator and wine tourism development consultant\, explains. \nThe location\nAlso noteworthy is the location chosen to host the event: the Officine Storiche di Porta a Mare\, from the heart of shipbuilding to a symbol of urban regeneration\, with Livorno increasingly a candidate to be the gateway to regional food and wine tourism. \n“Andar per Cantine LIVE represents a virtuous example of how food and wine tourism can become a real tool of development for businesses and the territory\,” says Alessandro Ciapini\, director of Confesercenti Provinciale Livorno. \nThe “Andar per Cantine” Guide\nGiving the measure of the project are the guide’s numbers: 137 selected wineries and more than 400 experiences including tastings\, tours\, meetings\, grape harvest and special activities\, with an offer that photographs the evolution of winery hospitality: tastings in 100 percent of cases\, wine shops in 95.6 percent\, proposals with Tuscan cuisine in 66.2 percent\, agritourism in 49.6 percent and wine resorts in 30.9 percent. Among the formulas\, group tours dominate (98.5%)\, but private (39.4%) and customized (18.9%) tours are also growing\, while 36% of wineries offer “WOW” experiences. On the price front\, 26.3 percent stay within 50 euros\, 49.6 percent are between 50 and 150 euros and 13.1 percent in the high range; 33.1 percent highlight sustainability initiatives\, while 3.6 percent report experiences usable by people with disabilities (given by sites). \nUseful information\n\nWhen: Saturday\, March 7 and Sunday\, March 8\, 2026\nHours: Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.\, Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.\nWhere: at the Historic Workshops of the Porta a Mare Commercial and Residential Complex\nOfficial website: andarpercantine.live

SUMMARY:Mezzacorona - FuoriVinifera 2026
DESCRIPTION:FuoriVinifera 2026: Alpine wine comes out of the fair and meets the land in a journey through Alpine vineyards and wineries\, tastings and masterclasses.\nVinifera returns in 2026 with a completely revamped format and a new name: FuoriVinifera. The event\, now in its seventh edition\, will take place on Saturday\, March 21 and Sunday\, March 22\, 2026 in the picturesque Piana Rotaliana Königsberg\, in Mezzocorona (Trento)\, transforming the traditional fair into a widespread experience among vineyards\, wineries and historical places of the territory. \nThe event represents one of the main events dedicated to viticulture in the Alps\, with more than one hundred independent winemakers and artisanal producers from Alpine and transalpine regions. The new format goes beyond the classic exhibition context to offer a true immersive journey through landscape\, biodiversity and material culture\, restoring centrality to the places where wine and crafts take shape. \nThe location\nThe audience will be taken on a walking journey between three symbolic locations in Mezzocorona: \n\nthe historic Cantina A. Martinelli 1860\, with more than 70 tasting counters;\nthe former fire station in the historic center\, dedicated to the producers of Piana Rotaliana Königsberg and the Teroldego Evolution association;\nthe 17th-century courtyard of Palazzo Martini\, which will host the South Tyrolean “Convinced” community of organic and biodynamic artisanal winemakers.\n\nFuoriVinifera is thus configured as a choral event that focuses on the narrative of mountain wine and Alpine artisanal productions\, including tastings\, master classes\, in-depth meetings\, gastronomic proposals\, music\, crafts and photographic exhibitions. A format that enhances the identity of Alpine territories and the work of small producers\, promoting a model of conscious and sustainable consumption. \nThe initiative is promoted by the Centrifuga Association\, a reality born in Rovereto to enhance the agri-food and wine heritage of the Alpine territories through cultural and popular events. The choice of Piana Rotaliana Königsberg\, framed by the Dolomites and historically devoted to viticulture\, strengthens the link between landscape and artisanal production. Thus offering enthusiasts an authentic experience in contact with nature. \nDates\, times and useful information\nFuoriVinifera 2026 will take place on Saturday\, March 21 and Sunday\, March 22\, 2026 in Mezzocorona (TN). \nPublic opening hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.\, with last admission by 5 p.m. \nThere are two types of access: the “Alpine Artisan Market” cup (€25) that allows entry to all locations\, and the “FuoriFocus” cup (€15) valid for Palazzo Martini and the former barracks. \nFree accreditation is available for press and industry professionals. \nAll updated details\, full schedule and presales can be found on the official website: viniferaforum.it.

The area is characterized by a hilly landscape full of ups and downs and clayey\, compact soils composed of blue marls\, similar to those found in other important wine-growing areas of Piedmont. \nThe rebirth of this grape variety is due to the efforts of a number of local vintners who\, starting in the late 1980s\, began an important work of recovery and enhancement. Among the protagonists of this rebirth are Walter Massa\, Andrea Mutti and Paolo Poggio. \nIn recent years\, the growth of Timorasso has been significant: while in 2009 the area planted with vines was only 25 hectares\, by 2025 it exceeded 500 hectares\, with a production of about 1.7 million bottles. \nA wine increasingly appreciated abroad as well\nThe success of Derthona Timorasso does not only concern the Italian market. Today about half of the production is for export\, with established markets such as the United States\, Canada and Northern Europe\, to which new destinations such as South Korea\, Australia and Japan are being added. \nIn this context\, Derthona Due.Zero represents a fundamental event for promoting the territory and telling the identity of this wine that is increasingly recognized internationally. \nNot only wine: the gastronomic excellence of the Tortonese Hills\nThe event is part of the project “Piedmont’s Island of Whites: its supply chain\,” which aims to enhance the area’s agricultural and food excellence through a short and integrated supply chain. \nIn fact\, alongside the wines\, numerous local products will also be featured\, including: \n\nNoble Salami of Giarolo\nMontebore cheese\npreserves and vegetables fromOrtolana Derthona\nVolpedo peaches and theirjamsGarbagna cherries\n\nstrawberries and other local agricultural specialties \n\n\nA basket that tells the gastronomic identity of the Tortonese Hills and strengthens the link between wine and territory. \nUseful information\n\nEvent: Derthona Due.Zero https://collitortonesi.com/eventi/derthona-due-zero/\nLocation: Orsi Museum\, Tortona (AL)\nWhen:\n\nSaturday\, March 28\, 2026 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Open to enthusiasts\, industry professionals and the press\nSunday\, March 29\, 2026 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Open to enthusiasts\, industry professionals and the press\nMonday\, March 30\, 2026 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Day exclusively for industry professionals\n\n\nRegistration and tickets:\n\nPress accreditation: link\nIndustry and sommelier association accreditation: link\nMasterclass registration Saturday\, March 28\, h16:00: link\nMasterclass registration Sunday\, March 29\, h16:00: link
