DESCRIPTION:Colline in Bolle 2025: beyond bubbles\, the secrets of Lombardy’s classic method\nThe event\nCavriana (MN) hosts the third edition of the event dedicated to all Metodo Classico wines from Lombardy. For two days\, the beautiful Villa Mirra will become the place to discover the many facets of Lombard bubbles. \nOn Saturday\, October 25 and Sunday\, October 26\, the doors of the historic Villa Mirra in Cavriana will open for the third and highly anticipated edition of Colline in Bolle\, the Review dedicated to the best Metodo Classico wines of Lombardy\, organized by Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori Mantovani and ONAV Lombardia\, in collaboration with the Municipality of Cavriana. A real journey to discover the diversity of grapes\, soils and know-how of Lombardy producers punctuated by the fine appellations Oltrepò Pavese DOCG\, Garda DOC\, Lugana DOP\, Alpi Retiche IGT\, Terre Lariane IGT\, Terre del Colleoni DOC\, Franciacorta DOCG. \nColline in Bolle is more than a chance to taste dozens of Metodo Classico wines: it is an opportunity to get to know wineries from across the region and discover the stories and dreams they encapsulate in each glass of bubbles. The event will welcome the public with labels belonging to about 50 different wineries. \nAn even more meaningful toast this year thanks to the presence of AIRC with its own fundraising desk and the Shades of Pink masterclass\, the proceeds of which will be donated to the cancer research foundation. \nThe Masterclasses\nIn a context of festivity and curiosity\, the event will offer participants the chance to deepen their knowledge about wine by participating in the various masterclasses offered during the event. Highlights of this edition include three exclusive guided tastings\, all within the splendid Scuderie of the 16th-century Villa: \n\nSaturday 25 5 p.m. – The Expression of Pinot Noir in Oltrepò will introduce this noble grape variety\, which has one of its highest expressions in Oltrepò Pavese. He will do so with the tasting of a selection of Metodo Classico\, but also through the original pairing with Grana Padano dei Prati Stabili\, obtained from cows fed with fodder from natural ecosystems of great environmental value\, respecting the welfare of the animals. \nSunday 26 at 4 p.m. – Shades of Pink\, curated by the Women’s ONAV group\, will be a charity seminar dedicated to Metodo Classico Rosé. The in-depth study of this increasingly prominent type of wine is intended to be a special example of solidarity and awareness raising. In fact\, the proceeds will be donated to AIRC for women’s cancer research\, in the hope of helping to create a better future for all women affected by this disease. \nSunday 26 at 6 p.m. – Franciacorta Vs Oltrepò: the big names will feature some of the wineries from Lombardy that have made Italian wine great. Accompanied by an ONAV lecturer\, participants will discover special vintages and legendary labels\, comparing two of the region’s most famous territories. \n\nColline in Bolle invites you to go beyond bubbles by delving into a world of stories\, techniques\, flavors and attention to quality and the environment. A path of growth and enrichment that allows you to get in touch with the Metodo Classico and its cradle\, Lombardy. \nUseful information\nThe appointment is at Villa Mirra\, Cavriana (MN). \n\nSaturday\, October 25 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.\nSunday\, October 26 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.\n\nFor information: \nhttps://www.facebook.com/collineinbolle https://www.facebook.com/collineinbolle https://www.instagram.com/stradadeiviniesaporimantovani/ https://www.instagram.com/collineinbolle/ \ninfo@mantovastrada.it

SUMMARY:Collio Day 2025
DESCRIPTION:Collio Day 2025: Italy tinged with yellow. Ninth edition kicks off Thursday\, Nov. 13 \nCollio Day\, the event conceived by the Consorzio Tutela Vini Collio\, in collaboration with the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS)\, is back\, reaching its ninth edition this year. \nOn Thursday\, November 13\, 2025\, twelve AIS delegations throughout Italy will be dyed yellow to celebrate the Collio Appellation and its extraordinary wines. \nAn event that has now become an established tradition\, created with the aim of promoting and enhancing the Collio territory and its oenological identity. It will be a moment of direct encounter with the producers\, who will personally reach the various AIS offices to guide participants in a tasting of seven DOC Collio wines\, accompanied by the region’s symbolic products: the DOP cheese Montasio and the DOP Prosciutto di San Daniele. \nThis year’s Collio Day will involve twelve AIS delegations\, including new members – Valle d’Aosta\, Varese\, Mantua and Lucca – and long-established realities such as Turin\, Lodi\, Venice\, Romagna-Ravenna\, Pistoia\, Florence\, Fermo and Sassari. There will be 20 producers present\, 84 wines for tasting and over 900 participants expected from all over Italy: a widespread evening dedicated to discovery\, education and conviviality. \n“Collio Day is a wonderful opportunity to introduce our territory through the direct storytelling of the producers\,” says Lavinia Zamaro\, Director of the Collio Consortium\, “but also a moment to reinforce our collaboration with AIS\, a valuable partner in spreading the culture of wine and the values we represent. The strength of this initiative is precisely the ability to unite different territories in a single message of authenticity and quality.” \nWith Collio Day 2025\, the Denomination renews its commitment to dialogue with the public and the sommelier community\, confirming itself as one of the most dynamic and representative realities of Italian wine. \nAll information at www.collio.it \n
