SUMMARY:Emilia Romagna - National Convention of Le Donne del Vino Association
DESCRIPTION:National Convention of Le Donne del Vino Association in Emilia Romagna: women\, wine\, food. territories telling their stories\, when taste becomes a destination \nNational Convention 2026 – Parma\, Modena\, Reggio Emilia\, June 12-14 \nEmilia-Romagna will be the star of the 2026 edition of the National Convention of Le Donne del Vino Association\, scheduled for June 12-14 in one of Italy’s most extraordinary territories in terms of density of food and wine excellence\, history\, culture and landscape. Three intense days between Parma\, Modena and Reggio Emilia. Parma – UNESCO Creative City for Gastronomy\, the capital of Prosciutto and Parmigiano Reggiano\, a city that has made taste an art form – will be in the role of base city and beating heart of the entire event. \nA weekend that will bring more than 100 female wine professionals from all over Italy – producers\, winemakers\, sommeliers\, journalists\, communicators\, lawyers\, architects – through wineries\, dairies\, UNESCO sites\, masterclasses and gala dinners\, in a program that weaves together tasting\, territorial culture and identity storytelling. Not a field trip. A cultural act. \nThe 2026 edition in Emilia-Romagna\nThe 2026 edition was orchestrated by the Emilia-Romagna Regional Delegation of the Women of Wine and coordinated by Paola Gorgatti\, Regional Delegate (Azienda Agricola La Madonnina\, Torrechiara\, Parma)\, with Vice Delegates Enza Bergantino (Jacleroi\, an agency specializing in food & wine based in the Food Valley\, Parma) and Claudia Riva di Sanseverino (Wine & Food Explorer\, Events Organization\, Communication and Storytelling). The event enjoys the Patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Municipalities of Parma\, Modena and Castelvetro di Modena\, and is the fruit of an extraordinary institutional and productive network: the Consorzi di tutela delle denominazioni dell’Emilia e della Romagna\, the Enoteca Regionale and the Modena UNESCO sites. \nCompleting the network is a team of private companies that believed in the project and chose to be part of it. CREDEM Euromobiliare Private Banking\, Amorim Cork Italia\, Vetreria Etrusca\, Lux et Vinum\, Luxoro Kurz\, Trabucco\, Lorenzo Mecarini Financial Advisor & Business Manager\, Carthusia\, Vin Strip\, AIS Emilia Parma and ONAV Section of Modena. \nA rich and dynamic program\nOn Friday\, June 12\, we get right into the swing of things with a visit to member Daniela Vaschieri’s Cantina Settecani winery in Castelvetro di Modena\, the reference producer of Lambrusco Grasparossa\, and the Masterclass “Spumeggiante Emilia: the bubbles that steal your heart” at Castello di Levizzano\, conducted by Matteo Pessina\, sommelier\, ALMA lecturer and official AIS taster. This will be followed by tastings with the Consortia of Parmigiano Reggiano DOP and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP with a visit to UNESCO sites in Modena. \nOn Saturday\, June 13\, the day is entirely devoted to the highlight of the convention: the National Convention at the Governor’s Palace in Parma\, beginning at 10 a.m. At noon\, light lunch at the Complesso San Paolo\, which welcomes delegates a short walk from the Palace. In the afternoon\, guided tour of the city with the Museo Diffuso del Gusto – a historical-artistic tour through the places that have written the history of Parma’s food culture: from the Piazza Grande to the Pilotta\, from apothecaries’ shops to the villages of the trades. The evening closes with a Gala Dinner at the Labirinto della Masone in Fontanellato: the largest labyrinth in the world\, a masterpiece designed by Franco Maria Ricci\, where art\, architecture and landscape come together in an experience that is already\, in itself\, a tale of territory. \nSunday\, June 14 concludes with a visit to the Caseificio Latteria Santo Stefano and Cantine Albinea Canali (Reggio Emilia)\, with the Masterclass “Radici rare – native Emilia-Romagna grape varieties between identity and biodiversity” led by Antonella Pizzi and Annamaria Compiani (AIS Parma): a journey through native grape varieties and Emilia-Romagna wine identity. \nThe National Convention: a thesis\, not a slogan\nOn Saturday\, June 13\, at 10:00 a.m.\, at the Governor’s Palace in Piazza Garibaldi in Parma\, the 2026 National Conference will be held on the theme\, “Women\, Wine\, Food. Territories that tell their stories: when taste becomes a destination.” \nA clear thesis: PDO\, PGI\, DOC and DOCG designations must not remain mere technical certifications\, but become architectures of meaning-systems capable of holding together production\, landscape\, reception and narrative. From specification to destination. \nEmilia-Romagna is now the top region in Europe for certified agrifood designations: 45 PDOs and PGIs-with Erbazzone Reggiano PGI among the latest new entries-plus 30 wine designations including DOCG\, DOC and IGT. Regional agribusiness is worth 37 billion euros\, with 10.2 billion in exports. The PDO economy alone generates 3.9 billion. Solid numbers: now what is needed is the ability to transform a supply chain into a territorial experience. \nThe conference will be moderated by Enza Bergantino\, Deputy Emilia-Romagna Regional Delegate of Le Donne del Vino Association. \nWho are the Women of Wine: position\, not quota\nWith nearly 40 years of history and 1\,260 members throughout Italy\, the National Association Le Donne del Vino is the largest women’s wine association in the world. Producers\, restaurateurs\, sommeliers\, journalists\, communicators\, lawyers\, architects: women across the supply chain\, from the vineyard to governance. Led by President Daniela Mastroberardino\, unanimously re-elected for the three-year term 2026-2028\, the Association does not claim a quota. It claims an expertise. A vision. A position. \nThe June 13 conference is not an industry convention. It is a cultural act that uses wine and food as lenses to read an Italy that competes in the world. Infrastructure is not built alone. They are built together. And Emilia-Romagna\, this time\, is proving it. \nFor information:\ndonne@ledonnedelvino.com – www.ledonnedelvino.com \nOrganizing secretariat: 334 102 7684 / 347 450 8766

SUMMARY:Breganze - La Vespaiolona\, goblets on tour among the wineries of D.O.C. Breganze
DESCRIPTION:La Vespaiolona: Seven years after the last edition\, the great traveling wine event dedicated to Vespaiolo wine will return to Breganze on Friday\, June 19\, between the D.O.C. Breganze wineries and Piazza Mazzini.\nThe return of the Vespaiolona\nThere used to be an event in Breganze that celebrated the beginning of summer with the fresh and lively flavor of Vespaiolo wine: the “Vespaiolona\,” an event that every year attracted thousands of visitors on an organized tour to discover the wineries of D.O.C. Breganze. After a seven-year hiatus\, Breganze is ready for its long-awaited return. On Friday\, June 19\, 2026\, the Vespaiolona will return to the stage with an edition that weaves tradition and territorial revitalization\, focusing on a widespread formula of tours and tastings in the wineries\, accompanied by a party in the historic center with Piazza Mazzini becoming the heart of the event. \n“The return of the Vespaiolona\,” comments Giuseppe Vittorio Santacatterina\, President of the Consortium for the Protection of D.O.C. Breganze Wines\, “was strongly desired by the territory\, the wineries and the municipal administration\, aware of the value that this event has been able to generate over the years. We return with an edition that aims first and foremost to be an experience of discovery: of the wineries\, of our winemaking identity and of the landscape that characterizes D.O.C. Breganze\, a heritage that deserves to be known beyond regional borders. The denomination brings together different realities\, often small in size\, but with a strong personality. Each winery represents a unique expression of Vespaiolo and the hillside context in which it produces its wines. For this long-awaited return\, the wineries will not only offer tastings\, but also stories and pairings related to the territory and its local productions.” \nVespaiolo D.O.C. Breganze\nIf Torcolato represents the meditative soul of the indigenous Vespaiola grape\, obtained from its drying in cellar lofts\, Vespaiolo D.O.C. Breganze expresses its fresher\, more savory character. Over the years it has established itself as one of the territory’s most representative wines\, the protagonist of iconic pairings such as baccalà alla vicentina and white asparagus from Bassano. Vespaiolona will offer an opportunity to discover its different interpretations\, from still to sparkling versions. \nThe organizing machine is led by the Consortium for the Protection of D.O.C. Breganze Wines in collaboration with DuePunti Eventi and the Municipality of Breganze. The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (cash desk and music closing at 12:30 a.m.). Dedicated programs\, including tastings\, food pairings and moments of entertainment\, will be offered by the participating wineries: Cantina Beato Bartolomeo Da Breganze\, Cantina Zoe\, Col Dovigo\, Contrà San Felice\, Costa del Sole\, IoMazzuccato\, La Costa\, Tenute Fosca\, Le Vigne Terre di Confine\, Transit Farm\, Vitacchio Massimo. \nEvent organization\nA shuttle bus service will provide connections between the center of Breganze and the wineries. Buses will depart from Piazzetta delle Poste for the IoMazzuccato (line 1)\, Le Vigne Terre di Confine (line 2)\, La Costa and Tenute Fosca (line 3) wineries. Small trains will depart from Piazza Mazzini for the Col Dovigo and Vitacchio Massimo wineries (line 4). The Beato Bartolomeo Winery on Via Roma\, on the other hand\, will be within walking distance. \nA large tasting area will be set up in Piazza Mazzini by the Costa del Sole\, Cantina Zoe\, Contrà San Felice and Transit Farm wineries with food offerings and musical entertainment. Access to the wineries and the wine & food tasting area in the square\, including the use of buses and small trains\, will be allowed only to participants with a kit-pass that can be purchased from Monday\, May 11\, exclusively on the website https://vespaiolona.ticket4event.it/ (while places are available). \nKit-passes purchased online can be picked up by presenting the booking confirmation voucher on the following days: Tuesday\, June 16 and Wednesday\, June 17 at the Consortium office at 100 Via Roma in Breganze from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Friday\, June 19 from 4:30 p.m. in Mazzini Square. \nThe Vespaiolona is organized by the Consortium for the Protection of D.O.C. SUMMARY:Salerno - Buonissimi 2026
DESCRIPTION:Buonissimi 2026 – The eighth edition of thecharity event to support scientific research in pediatric oncology is about to kick off\nOrganized by Paola Pignataro and Silvana Tortorella\, Buonissimi 2026 will officially open the curtain always a at the Port Village Marina d’Arechi on June 22 with the protagonists of the food and wine world: chefs and star chefs\, pizza makers\, fry shops\, sandwich shops\, master pastry chefs\, producers\, winemakers\, craft breweries and bartenders with a focus in particular on sustainability and gluten-free offerings. \nOnce again this year\, Buonissimi aims to support the Editor project. With funding from the OPEN OdV Association\, CEINGE the Institute of Advanced Biotechnology at the University of Naples Federico II\, will be able to carry out next-generation sequencing and genomic editing to identify genetic risk factors as therapeutic targets for the treatment of pediatric cancers. \nAnna Maria Alfani\, president of OPEN OdV Association\, said: \n“Every year Buonissimi is a time of celebration that carries a strong message: to support research in order to offer children increasingly effective and personalized treatments. With the 2026 edition we will complete the Editor project\, after three years of investment and success in the medical field\, thanks to intense multidisciplinary collaboration throughout Italy.” \nAssociate Professor of Medical Genetics at the University Federico II of Naples and Principal Investigator of CEINGE the Institute of Advanced Biotechnology at the University of Naples Federico II\, Mario Capasso\, pointed out: \n“The accuracy of the data obtained in years of work\, thanks to collaboration with national and foreign research centers\, now allows us to better understand the mechanisms and genetic predisposition for the development of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. With Associate Professor of Medical Genetics at the University of Milano-Bicocca\, Giovanni Cazzaniga\, we have combined different professional skills with a single goal: that of collecting the largest number of samples-as many as 800-to be analyzed and studied for the purpose of identifying DNA mutations that are the likely object of disease development. We found that 12 percent of patients already had the presence of such mutations in their genomic make-up\, a result that opens new avenues in treatment and prevention.” \nAgostino Gallozzi\, president of Marina d’Arechi\, also renews support for the initiative: \n“We are happy to welcome Buonissimi once again to Marina d’ Arechi . We all need to dwell more on the themes of sociality. It will certainly be a special evening\, where taste meets solidarity and the beauty of our land.” \nPaola Pignataro and Silvana Tortorella conclude: \n“Buonissimi is perseverance\, passion\, dedication and a desire to share. Each edition represents a new challenge\, but above all a valuable opportunity to involve more and more friends\, partners and companies in a project capable of combining conviviality\, territory and solidarity. Roberto Jannelli\, Rosario Augusto and Emiliano Esposito\, will be the protagonists of the after-dinner musical on the Terrace\, the concluding moment of our food and wine walk.” \nInformation\nAppointment on June 22 from 8:30 p.m. at Marina D’Arechi\, Salerno \nFor information and participation: \ninfo@buonissimi.org | www.buonissimi.org \nThe full list of partners and supporters is available at

SUMMARY:Sea and Vitovska in Morje 2026
DESCRIPTION:Sea and Vitovska in Morje 2026: June 26 and 27 at Duino Castle\, Karst celebrates the area’s iconic wine\nMare e Vitovska is the annual rendezvous with the most famous indigenous grape variety of the Trieste\, Gorizia and Slovenian Karst\, organized by the Association of Karst-Kras Winegrowers in collaboration with local restaurants in the picturesque location of Duino Castle. \nTastings with food pairings by restaurateurs from the province of Trieste and beyond; a guided tasting by the AIS of Trieste\, a conference with the theme “Vitovska\, wine of the Karst\, an expression of its territory and those who cultivate it. Resistant to the trends of fickle viticultural fashion. What future has viticulture linked to native wines and its terroir?” \nCorner shops with typical Karst products such as wines\, cheeses\, cured meats\, sweets\, honey and extra virgin olive oil will be set up. \nThe Vitovska\nVitovska is a white grape variety that has always been grown in the province of Trieste and in areas of neighboring Slovenia. The origin of the name is still uncertain\, but the grape variety is probably of Slovenian origin. Some claim that the origin of the name comes from the Slovenian word vitica (grape vine). \nUnlike other varieties whose ancient or recent origins are known\, Vitovska can be considered a native variety; in fact\, there is no trace of other varieties with which it can be identified in other regions of the Mediterranean\, and its history has been lost in the folds of centuries of local tradition\, reaching\, through a long process of adaptation and selection\, the current characteristics that allow it to give results in the red lands of the Karst where it is able to withstand\, whipped by the Bora\, the cold winters and the drought of the hot season. \nThe wine made from the Vitovska grape variety is straw yellow with greenish hues; a dry wine\, fresh in acidity\, with persuasive fruity hints of Williams pear and sage\, savory\, full-bodied\, with a mineral note. Pleasant palate and pleasantly bitter finish. \nProducing wine on the Karst is extremely difficult\, pure heroic viticulture: tearing out from the rock\, meter by meter\, with the pickaxe\, spreading a layer of fertile ferrous red soil painstakingly removed from the sinkholes and planting a vine in it. \nToday Vitovska is queen of the Karst\, a unique territory in the world. \nThe Program\nWednesday\, June 24 \nTAKE a tour of the vineyard\, discovering Azr. SUMMARY:Rome - Bererosa 2026
DESCRIPTION:Bererosa 2026: The summer event dedicated to rosé wines\, organized by Cucina & Vini\, returns to the heart of ancient Rome\n120 labels for the fifteenth edition of the event\, which focuses on cultural\, mindful\, and light-hearted enjoyment. Pink drinks remain the favorite among Gen Z. There’s also plenty of fun to be had\, from hot-air balloon rides to relaxing on the cloud-shaped swing. \nThe 15th edition of Bererosa—the summer event dedicated to the finest Italian rosés\, conceived by the food and wine magazine *Cucina & Vini*—returns this year to the picturesque grounds of Villa Appia Antica. Amid centuries-old trees and the ruins of ancient Rome\, the event will celebrate the finest expressions of Italian rosé wines—both still and sparkling—with a tasting journey that takes visitors on a tour of the Italian peninsula. From Lombardy to Veneto\, passing through Lazio and Abruzzo all the way to Puglia\, eleven regions will be represented. From 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Thursday\, July 2\, they will welcome wine enthusiasts\, appealing not only to seasoned consumers but also to younger audiences. \nRosé Wine in Italy\n“For fifteen years\, we’ve been engaging with a truly large audience\, and we’ve seen a gradual increase in the number of young people under thirty—the so-called Gen Z\,” says Francesco D’Agostino\, editor-in-chief of *Cucina & Vini* -. Interest in rosé wine cuts across all demographics\, and its consumption worldwide is declining at a slower rate than that of wine in general\, essentially capturing market share that was once the exclusive domain of red wine. Several major wine regions are aware of this trend and are introducing rosé into the production regulations of historically red wine regions\, foremost among them the Chianti DOCG. \nFurthermore\, in Italy\, the world of still rosé wines does not experience the kind of value appreciation beyond production costs that is typical in France; it remains within a “comfort zone\,” a feature that young people appreciate\, as explained by a recent ISWR study. The research also confirms that young people drink primarily to foster social interactions; it is rare for a member of the younger generation to enjoy a glass of wine alone. And they do so with a greater awareness of how to approach the glass—another characteristic that highlights a significant difference from previous generations. In short\, Bererosa\, with its natural inclination toward lighthearted sharing\, is perfectly suited to the drinking habits of this consumer segment.” \nBererosa2026 isn’t just about large wine glasses!\nThe iconic Roman summer event dedicated to rosé wines—featuring the tried-and-true “walk-around tasting” format—joins forces with the excellence and artisanal flavor of Salumi Sei Colli\, a historic brand from Brescia\, which will serve as the event’s official sponsor. The brand will highlight the culinary offerings with a dedicated tasting and sales area\, where visitors can sample top-quality products\, including aged prosciutto. Alongside Salumi Sei Colli\, Sfornaio will also be there with its freshly made white pizza\, ready to be topped with cured meats and vegetarian options! Also on the food front\, don’t miss the fried delicacies from La Bottega dell’Oliva Ascolana\, Vitavigor breadsticks \, and a dedicated area featuring extra virgin olive oils selected by Olives Road. \nA major highlight of this year’s Bererosa 2026 will be the entertainment area curated by Cosmic Crisp® —the apple with “Heavenly Pleasure”! The Cosmic Crisp® team will showcase the excellence of this product through food pairings and an all-new drink menu\, organizing hot-air balloon rides where the public can enjoy a safe flight\, as well as a fantastic cloud-shaped swing where visitors can relax between glasses of wine. \nAll the details\nWhen: Thursday\, July 2\, 2026\, 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.\nWhere: Villa Appia Antica – Via Pompeo Licinio\, 87 – Rome \nFormat: Walk-around tasting with food and drink samples\nFor more information and reservations: on the event’s official website \nOnline Ticket Office Available at\n. Tickets are also available on-site on the day of the event. \nInfo: bererosa@cucinaevini.it; 0698872584
