SUMMARY:Marsala – Unusual Marsala 2026
DESCRIPTION:Insolito Marsala 2026: from September 30th to October 4th\, five days of wine\, food\, hospitality\, and new ideas to discover western Sicily\nFrom September 30 to October 4\, 2026\, Insolito Marsala returns\, a project dedicated to the world of wine\, Ho.Re.Ca.\, hospitality\, and innovation. For its third edition\, it expands its scope from the city of Marsala to western Sicily. Wineries\, salt pans\, restaurants\, accommodations\, cities and landscapes thus become part of a journey that combines training\, tasting\, discovery of the territory and relationships. \nInsolito Marsala was founded with the goal of creating opportunities for businesses\, professionals\, students\, institutions\, creators\, and the public to come together\, bringing local expertise into dialogue with national and international perspectives. It is neither a trade show nor a traditional wine festival\, but rather a widespread experience that uses wine and hospitality as a starting point to tell the story of a region in a contemporary way. \nThe 2026 edition therefore marks a significant evolution of the project: Marsala remains the starting point\, but the event sets out on a journey\, passing through new destinations in western Sicily and offering a different way to explore and experience the region through wine\, cuisine\, hospitality\, and innovation \nProgram\nThe project revolves around three areas: Wine\, Ho.Re.Ca.\, and Hospitality 3.0. \n\nThe wine-focused component includes tastings\, winery tours\, themed itineraries\, and opportunities to meet producers and explore the regions of western Sicily. Wine thus becomes a means of discovering stories\, people\, products\, and new forms of wine tourism.\nThe Ho.Re.Ca. sector\, on the other hand\, involves restaurants\, bars\, cafes\, wineries\, hotels\, and other hospitality businesses through training\, meetings\, masterclasses\, and opportunities for discussion tailored to those who work daily with the public and in customer service. The program covers everything from wine to coffee\, from dining room service to communication and new tools for the hospitality industry.\nWith “Hospitality 3.0\,” Insolito Marsala focuses instead on the evolution of tourism and hospitality\, addressing topics such as artificial intelligence\, digital content\, immersive experiences\, hospitality tech\, and destination storytelling through talks\, case studies\, and meetings with Italian and international guests.\n\nThe day is structured to alternate between different activities: the morning is dedicated to professional discussions and training\, the afternoon to experiences centered on wine\, food\, and the landscape\, while the evening takes on a more convivial atmosphere\, featuring dinners\, DJ sets\, music\, mixology\, and opportunities to socialize. \nAmong the training programs offered is the Insolito Academy\, which focuses on professional development in the areas of wine\, hospitality\, food and wine tourism\, communication\, artificial intelligence\, storytelling\, and new experiential models. \nThe schedule is being updated on the official website \nInformation Summary\n\nDates: September 30 – October 4\, 2026\nLocations: Marsala and other locations in western Sicily\nOfficial Website: https://insolitomarsala.com/

SUMMARY:Morbegno in Cantina 2026
DESCRIPTION:Morbegno in Cantina 2026: from September 25th to October 11th\, three weekends featuring historic wineries\, great Valtellina wines\, and local flavors\nFrom September 25th to ’ October 11th\, 2026\, Morbegno returns to Cantina\, an event that brings a widespread journey to the historic center of Morbegno\, in the heart of Valtellina\, to discover the wines and flavors of the area. \nAn itinerary between wine and history\nFor three weekends\, historic wineries\, courtyards\, courtyards\, palaces\, and cloisters open their doors\, transforming the city into a tasting itinerary to be explored on foot. Wine thus becomes the common thread for understanding an important part of Valtellina’s cultural heritage\, between places not normally accessible and the expressions of viticulture characterized by terraces\, craftsmanship\, and a strong territorial identity. \nThe 2026 edition introduces a significant new feature: the wineries will also be open on Friday evenings\, from 6 to 10 pm\, in addition to Saturdays and Sundays. The event takes place on the weekends of September 25–27\, October 2–4 and October 9–11\, with tastings on Fridays from 6pm to 10pm\, on Saturdays from 12pm to 10pm and on Sundays from 11am to 6pm. \nThe tasting routes\nVisitors can choose from several tasting tours\, built around different interpretations of Valtellina’s winemaking heritage. \nAmong the 2026 offerings are Rossi e Bio\, which compares Valtellina Superiore and Riserve with organic produce; Sforzati e Bolle\, dedicated to the dialogue between the structure and intensity of Sforzati and the freshness of bubbles; and Rossi\, Bianchi & amp; Rosé\, which offers a journey through different expressions of local production. \nAdded to these are Voices of the Vineyard – from the Producer to the Chalice\, housed in the Cloister of Sant’Antonio\, where ten small producers can directly talk about their wines\, their work in the vineyard and their relationship with the area. It is a particularly interesting formula because it introduces\, alongside the guided route\, a more direct relationship between winemaker and visitor. \nDiscovering Valtellina’s heroic viticulture\nThe tasting thus also becomes an opportunity to learn about Valtellina’s heroic viticulture\, that of terraced vineyards and dry stone walls\, and to encounter some of the wines that most represent its identity\, from Sforzato to Valtellina Superiore. \nMorbegno in Cantina allows us to approach this heritage not only through the chalice\, but also through the landscape and the stories of those who continue to cultivate the vine in an area where viticulture still requires significant manual labor today. \nNot just wine: experiences in the area\nWine is\, however\, only one element of the experience. Morbegno in Cantina offers a program of activities dedicated to discovering the area\, with guided tours of Palazzo Malacrida\, trekking and e-biking through vineyards and the landscape\, experiences dedicated to oil\, viticulture activities\, and activities for families and young people. \nAmong the new features for 2026 is a greater focus on the possibility of experiencing the event differently from the traditional tasting itinerary. The Non-Alcoholic Pass offers a parallel itinerary with juices\, infusions\, fermented foods\, and other non-alcoholic beverages related to the area\, while the Wine Jobs Experience addresses the topic of wine professions and training opportunities for young people. \nValtellina wine and gastronomy\nFinally\, there’s no shortage of connection to Valtellina’s gastronomy: wines are accompanied by traditional local products and preparations\, on a journey that brings together wine\, food\, history\, and territory. \nThe event thus becomes an opportunity to learn about Valtellina through some of its most characteristic expressions\, from wine to cuisine\, to the landscape and historical heritage of Morbegno. \nA new phase for the demonstration\nThe 2026 edition also marks the beginning of a new phase for Morbegno in Cantina\, entrusted for the next five years to SGP Grandi Eventi\, in partnership with PLM Servizi\, with the involvement of local associations and organizations. \nA formula that aims to strengthen the experiential dimension of the event while keeping the relationship with Morbegno and its community at the center. \n\nDates: September 25–27\, October 2–4\, and October 9–11\, 2026\nOpening hours: Friday from 6pm to 10pm\, Saturday from 12pm to 10pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.\nLocation: Morbegno (SO)\, historic center

SUMMARY:Vicenza – ViWine Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:ViWine Festival 2026: From October 2 to 4\, wine returns to the heart of Vicenza with three days of tastings\, events\, experiences\, and culinary delights\nWine Meets the City\nFrom October 2 to 4\, 2026\, the ViWine Festival returns to Vicenza for its seventh edition. The event takes place primarily in Piazza dei Signori\, in the city’s historic center\, with a program that combines wine tastings with meetings with producers\, cultural events\, culinary offerings\, and entertainment. \nFor the 2026 edition\, the festival announces the participation of over 40 wineries and more than 200 wine labels\, with a selection that includes wines from various regions. Admission to the square is free\, but to participate in the tasting tour\, you must purchase the corresponding package\, which includes a wine glass and tokens for the tastings. \nWine Tastings and Meet-and-Greets with Producers\nThe heart of ViWine remains the tour of the wineries\, designed to allow the public to learn about wines\, regions\, and labels through direct interaction with the producers. \nThe 2026 format therefore maintains the distinction between free admission to the event and the paid tasting route. The wine is accompanied by a selection of food items that can be purchased directly from the food exhibitors. \nIn addition to the wine tasting in the square\, this year the festival is expanding its offerings with new experiences that connect wine with culture\, art\, movement\, and an appreciation of the city. \nThe New “Experiences”\nAmong the events already announced are two masterclasses dedicated to wines from the Vicenza region: the first\, focused on Vespaiola di Breganze\, is scheduled for Saturday\, October 3; the second\, dedicated to Garganega and Durella and their relationship with volcanic soils\, is scheduled for Sunday\, October 4. \nThe program also includes “Ceramichine\,” an experience that combines ceramic painting with wine tasting\, and “Wine Pilates\,” an activity that alternates Pilates exercises with wine tasting sessions. \nParticularly interesting for its exploration of the relationship between wine and the city’s heritage is the cultural tour “Vicenza in a Glass\, ” organized in collaboration with the La Vigna International Library and the Vicenzaè Consortium: a guided tour that begins at the La Vigna Library and continues through the historic center\, highlighting the history of wine and the cellars from Palladio’s time\, and concludes in Piazza dei Signori with a wine tasting. \nFuori Festival\nOne of the new features of the 2026 edition is the Fuori Festival\, held at Corte dei Bissari\, where the program features not only wines but also spirits and music. \nThe festival thus maintains a concept that goes beyond a simple wine event\, seeking to connect wine with life in the historic center and with various forms of experience and entertainment. \nProgram\nThe general schedule previously announced is as follows: \n\nFriday\, October 2: Piazza dei Signori 7:00 PM–12:00 AM; Fuori Festival at Corte dei Bissari 7:00 PM–1:00 AM.\nSaturday\, October 3: Piazza dei Signori 3:00 PM–12:00 AM; Off-Festival at Corte dei Bissari 3:00 PM–1:00 AM.\nSunday\, October 4: Piazza dei Signori and Corte dei Bissari 11:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m.\n\nThe detailed program is being updated gradually by the organizers; some events are already listed\, and others will be announced at a later date. \nInformation Summary\n\nDates: October 2–4\, 2026\nLocation: Piazza dei Signori and Corte dei Bissari\, Vicenza\nAdmission: free; a special package is required for tastings\nOfficial website: https://viwinefestival.it

The various production areas of Champagne will be represented : Montagne de Reims\, Vallée de la Marne\, Côte des Blancs\, and Côte des Bar. The “classic houses\,” on the other hand\, will be grouped together in a specific area. In addition\, the partnership with Champagne de Vignerons—the association created in 2001 by the Syndicat Général des vignerons de la Champagne with the goal of promoting the work of small vignerons—has been renewed. \nOnce again for the 2026 edition\, all industry professionals and Champagne enthusiasts will be able to taste these fine French sparkling wines from the official Champagne Experience glass. The glass is produced in collaboration with Odessa (the exclusive Italian distributor for the Stölzle Lausitz brand) and is specially screen-printed with the event’s logo. \nTickets are available exclusively on the event’s official website: www.champagneexperience.it.

SUMMARY:Genova Wine Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Genoa Wine Festival is back: the story of Italian (and Ligurian) wine comes to Villa Bombrini on Saturday\, October 10\, and Sunday\, October 11\, 2026\, for the event’s fourth edition.\nThe countdown has begun: the Genoa Wine Festival is back. Fifty selected wineries from all over Italy (and beyond)\, street food\, talks\, workshops\, and guided tours. The GWF OFF events throughout the city center are also back. \nOn Saturday\, October 10\, and Sunday\, October 11\, Villa Bombrini in Genoa Cornigliano will open its doors to the highly anticipated fourth edition of the event—now a must-attend for wine lovers and the city alike—featuring 50 wineries from all over Italy (and beyond). \nThe event\, organizedby APS Papille Clandestine\, maintains its signature format: an informal\, convivial atmosphere based on direct interaction between the public and the producers. It’s a unique opportunity to meet winemakers\, discover stories about vineyards and local specialties\, and purchase your favorite bottles directly on site. \nThe goal of the event is to introduce a broad audience to mindful consumption of quality products\, including through workshops and tastings. It also aims to convey the producers’ passion in an accessible and authentic way. \nThe Festival’s Wineries\nAt the heart of the GWF will be a selection—chosen without ideological bias—of wineries that have distinguished themselves for their quality\, direct production\, commitment to the local territory\, small scale\, or family-run operations. Selected directly by the organizers\, these wineries showcase the wines that are drunk (and have historically been drunk) in Genoa and Liguria. \nThe complete list of wineries can be found at https://genovawinefestival.it/#cantine \nAccompanying them are local street food options designed to pair perfectly. \nThe Festival Program\n\nSaturday\, October 10\, from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.\nSunday\, October 11\, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.\n\nThere will be ten in-depth wine tastings and eight “Wines on the Terrace” sessions—informal 15-minute gatherings to get to know a producer through one of their wines. There will also be guided tours of Villa Bombrini\, the finest example of 18th-century aristocratic architecture in the Genoa area\, and creative workshops for children ages 4 to 11\, making this a family-friendly event. \nAll events can be reserved (subject to availability) on the event’s website and are included in the admission ticket. \nThe complete and updated program is available at: https://genovawinefestival.it/ \nVilla Bombrini\nVilla Bombrini\, located in the Cornigliano neighborhood of Genoa\, is the finest example of 18th-century aristocratic architecture in the Genoa area. Built in 1752 by Pierre Paul De Cotte for the Marquis of Durazzo\, it has passed through the hands of various owners over the centuries\, including the House of Savoy\, and eventually became the headquarters of Italsider. \nRestored to its former glory following a meticulous renovation\, and surrounded by a beautiful garden and a courtyard of honor\, it is now a cultural center that hosts events\, exhibitions\, and initiatives. It is also the headquarters of the Genoa Liguria Film Commission. \nGWF Off: The Festival Spread Throughout the City\nLeading up to and accompanying the main event will be the packed schedule of GWF OFF: a series of events ranging from themed dinners to guided tastings at venues throughout Genoa and its province\, offering the chance to chat about wine directly with the visiting winemakers on the evenings of Thursday\, October 8\, and Friday\, October 9. \nUseful information\n\nOne-day ticket available for purchase online. Included with the ticket: a tasting glass\, a glass holder strap\, and the official program. Unlimited tastings at the tasting booths.\nAccreditation: Free admission for industry professionals upon registration. Advance tickets available online\n\nThe Genoa Wine Festival is an event conceived and organized by APS Papille Clandestine\, held under the patronage of the Liguria Region\, with the contribution and support of Società per Cornigliano\, and with the backing of AGN ENERGIA and Clayver.

SUMMARY:Terre di Pisa Food & Wine Festival
DESCRIPTION:Terre di Pisa Food & Wine Festival: Pisa once again becomes the capital of taste. Three days of fine wines\, sensory workshops\, and a celebration of the art of bread-making for World Bread Day.\nThe program for the 14th edition of the Terre di Pisa Food & Wine Festival is now official . The food and wine festival is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Tuscany. From October 16 to 18\, 2026\, it will transform downtown Pisa into a showcase for the region’s finest food and wine products. \nWith the publication of the program on the event’s official website (terredipisafoodwinefestival.it)\, the public and enthusiasts can finally learn all the details about the events\, workshops\, and masterclasses that will bring the weekend in Pisa to life. \nTo coincide with National Food Day and World Bread Day\, this year’s theme is “The Art of Baking.” It is a tribute to the tradition of leavened baked goods\, artisanal breadmaking\, and traditional street food\, combining the pleasure of good food with a strong focus on sustainable innovation. \nThe Heart of the Festival: 87 Exhibitors\nOnce again this year\, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II will be the heart of the event. Located in a prime central spot—right outside the train station and at the start of the shopping district—the square serves as a gathering place to showcase the work of local producers. A total of 87 companies and 5 protection consortia will be the stars of this food and wine journey\, creating a rich mosaic of flavors: from the DOC wines of the Terre di Pisa to extra virgin olive oil\, as well as cheeses\, cured meats\, craft beers\, truffles\, and traditional pastas. \nBaked Goods Take Center Stage\nAmong the highlights are the “Le mani in pasta” masterclasses led by Antonio Pio Campanella\, the World Champion of Contemporary Neapolitan Pizza. The exploration of leavened products continues with the conference “From Grain to Bread\,” sponsored by CNA and the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture at the University of Pisa and the Association of Urban Agricultural Bakers. Moderated by journalist Luca Martinelli\, the event will delve into the value of breadmaking from field to table. The highlight of Sunday’s program will be the “Cecina 2.0: The Challenge of Pisa’s Yellow Gold” contest\, in which four historic local pizzerias will compete to reinterpret the traditional recipe under the joint evaluation of a technical jury and a popular jury. \nWines\, guided tastings\, and local specialties\nThe wine masterclasses are back at the Salone Borsa Merci\, led by critics and industry experts. \nThe event kicks off on Friday with an in-depth look at the Montescudaio DOC\, led by Alessandro Balducci (AIS Pisa). The program continues on Saturday with “Terre di Pisa Atelier: The Art of Detail in Designer Wine Glasses\,” presented by Simon Staffler (editor-in-chief of Falstaff Italia). Sunday will feature masterclasses on local white wines led by Riccardo Gabriele and a focus on the unique microclimate of Riparbella led by Dario Pantani (FISAR). Enriching the program will be sensory workshops organized by ONAF\, featuring original pairings such as “cacio gelato\,” the pairing of blue cheeses with passito wines\, and the combination of olive oil and cheese\, alongside ONAS-led tours dedicated to cured meats and Pisan pork products. \nAnd much more at the Pisa Food & Wine Festival\nThe festival continues to be a family-friendly event. In the center of the square\, the new Kids’ Area has been set up—a place where play meets learning. Through creative workshops\, children can explore the culture of good food while having fun. \nThe experience is enriched by seminars on food culture organized by the Nutrafood Center at the University of Pisa\, guided tastings by Aperiolio\, and events hosted by the Agorà of the Circolo Mazzei. The event is rounded out by the Extra Festival itineraries\, designed to guide visitors as they explore the museums\, the Lungarni\, and the streets of the historic center. \nAll scheduled events (master classes\, workshops\, seminars\, and conferences) are completely free. \nInformation and Opening Hours for Exhibition Booths\n\nFriday\, October 16: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.\nSaturday\, October 17: 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.\nSunday\, October 18: 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.\n\nThe event is organized by the Northwest Tuscany Chamber of Commerce. SUMMARY:Montecavolo di Quattro Castella – Skin Contact Wine Fest 2026
DESCRIPTION:Skin Contact Wine Fest 2026: The international festival dedicated to macerated white wines and orange wines returns on October 18 in Montecavolo di Quattro Castella\nThe Skin-Contact Wine Festival\nOn Sunday\, October 18 \, 2026\, the Skin Contact Wine Fest returns to Montecavolo di Quattro Castella\, in the province of Reggio Emilia\, for its third edition. The event is dedicated to macerated white wines and Orange Wines\, produced by vinifying white grapes with a period of skin contact—a practice traditionally associated with red wine production. \nThe event was created with the goal of highlighting this unique expression of wine\, focusing on maceration and the relationship between grape variety\, terroir\, and the winemaker’s interpretation. The program includes a day entirely dedicated to wine tasting and direct interaction with the winemakers. \nThe Skin Contact Wine Fest thus offers an experience focused on a type of wine that has won over an increasingly broad audience in recent years\, but which the event chooses to explore primarily through direct interaction with producers and an understanding of the various approaches to maceration. \nAbout fifty producers from Italy and abroad\nThe heart of the festival will be the tasting stations\, where approximately 50 selected producers from various Italian regions and abroad will be present. Visitors will be able to taste the wines freely and speak directly with the producers\, with the option to purchase bottles after the tastings. \nThe list of participants is still being updated. Among the companies already listed are some from Georgia\, Slovenia\, and Croatia. \nIn fact\, the festival’s international presence is one of its defining features\, with a selection that allows for a comparison of different interpretations of wines produced through skin maceration. \nTastings and In-Depth Discussions\nThe format remains that of a tasting event without the traditional trade show setup: attendees can move freely among the booths\, taste the wines\, and purchase bottles directly from the participating wineries. \nIn addition to the tasting stations\, a masterclass will be held in collaboration with AIS—the Italian Sommelier Association—scheduled for 12:00 p.m. The theme and details of the event are still being finalized. \nThroughout the event\, there will also bea food court run by Pro Loco Matildica\, offering food and drinks that can be purchased separately from the admission ticket. \nPractical information\n\nDate: Sunday\, October 18\, 2026\nTime: 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.\nLocation: Il Boccio\, Via Fratelli Cervi 37\, entrance on Via Nenni\, Montecavolo di Quattro Castella (RE)\nMasterclass: by payment and reservation only\nFood and beverage area: provided by Pro Loco Matildica\nOfficial website: https://www.skincontactwine.it/\n\nThe ticket includes admission to the event\, unlimited tastings at the tasting stations\, a tasting glass\, and a glass holder.

SUMMARY:Throughout Italy - MetodoContemporaneo
DESCRIPTION:From October 23 to 25\, the MetodoContemporaneo event returns: a series of itineraries exploring art\, wine\, and the landscape at 14 Italian wineries\nFrom October 23 to 25\, 14 wineries in 8 Italian regions will open their doors to the public free of charge for the second edition of the networking event promoted by MetodoContemporaneo\, the first Italian observatory dedicated to the dialogue between contemporary art and the wine-growing landscape\, created by the University of Verona and BAM! Strategie Culturali. \nThis year\, the initiative supports the first National Day of the Italian Wine Landscape\, organized by Iter Vitis. \nOn October 23\, 24\, and 25\, 14 wineries across 8 regions will open their doors free of charge for the second edition of MetodoContemporaneo. Featuring itineraries that blend art\, wine\, and landscape\, this networked event—born from Italy’s first observatory on contemporary art and the wine-growing landscape—is being promoted this year by the University of Verona in collaboration with Iter Vitis and Nemo Monti Comunicazione. \nThree days and a single itinerary spanning the entire peninsula\, from Piedmont to Sicily\, to discover some of the Italian wineries that have made their connection with art\, architecture\, and culture an important part of their identity. Wineries\, collections\, museums\, and art projects open their doors to the public through guided tours\, talks\, and free experiences (by reservation)\, creating a “spread-out museum” that tells the story of the region through the interplay of wine\, art\, and landscape. \nThe Iter Vitis International Association\nThis year\, the project is further enriched by a partnership with the International Association Iter Vitis\, which conceived and promoted ITER VITIS – Les Chemins de la Vigne en Europe\, the Council of Europe’s 25th Cultural Route dedicated to vine and wine culture\, and coordinates the Iter Vitis Italia network. \nThis collaboration comes at a symbolic moment: the MetodoContemporaneo calendar is in fact part of the First Italian Wine Country Landscape Day —GPVI\, the new observance established to recognize the cultural\, historical\, and landscape value of vine and wine culture across Italy\, scheduled for October 20\, 2026\, the date of European Landscape Day. \n“We are extremely pleased to have so many Italian wineries participating\, representing the excellence of the union between wine culture and contemporary art. MetodoContemporaneo is a project created to map\, study\, explore\, promote\, and develop this phenomenon. This year\, for the online event\, we have partnered with Iter Vitis\, one of Europe’s leading organizations dedicated to promoting the wine-growing landscape as a vehicle for culture and dialogue. Through this collaboration\, the University of Verona is helping to launch the First National Wine-Growing Landscape Day.” Luca Bochicchio and Monica Molteni\, project leaders MetodoContemporaneo for the University of Verona. \nContemporary Method 2026\nOnce again this year\, in a mosaic of shared experiences\, each winery will offer an activity designed to engage wine tourists\, art enthusiasts\, industry professionals\, and local communities through guided tours and free experiences — bookable through the individual wineries’ channels— that bring together winemaking tradition and artistic and cultural heritage. \nThe initiative was launched to highlight the connection between art and wine as a driver of cultural and regional development\, to share best practices already implemented by individual wineries\, and to foster new relationships between wineries and those working in the cultural sector. This initiative reimagines the relationship between wineries and the local community\, promoting a sustainable way to explore the region and contributing to the creation of a new cultural landscape. \nThe first edition\, which took place in October 2025 and featured 14 wineries from north to south\, drew 766 visitors\, confirming the growing interest in initiatives that combine contemporary art\, wine\, and the local region with a focus on sustainable cultural tourism. \nWith its second edition\, MetodoContemporaneo continues its work to build a national network capable of bringing together experiences from different regions and highlighting the role of wineries not only as places of production but also as spaces for cultural creation and sharing\, in harmony with the landscape and the communities that inhabit it. \nTHE PROGRAM\nFRIDAY\, OCTOBER 23\nCa’ del Bosco | Erbusco (BS) – 10:30 a.m.\nGuided tour of the Ca’ del Bosco facilities and collection.\nReservations: visite@cadelbosco.com\nVia Albano Zanella 13\, Erbusco (BS) \nPerno Castle | Monforte d’Alba (CN) – 3:00 p.m.\nTour of Perno Castle: historic home of the Giulio Einaudi publishing house.\nReservations: castellodiperno.it/visite-e-degustazioni\nPerno hamlet\, Vicolo Roma 21\, Monforte d’Alba (CN) \nFeudi di San Gregorio | Sorbo Serpico (AV) – 3:00 p.m.\nFeudi di San Gregorio: a venue showcasing site-specific works from the company’s BeCurious project alongside a prestigious loan from the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation Collection.\nReservations: prenota@feudi.it\nCerza Grossa\, Sorbo Serpico (AV) \nCastello di Ama | Gaiole in Chianti (SI) – 4:00 p.m.\nGuided tour of the collection.\nReservations: enoteca@castellodiama.com\nLocalità Ama\, Gaiole in Chianti (SI) \nAgricola Bellaria | Roccabascerana (AV) – 5:00 p.m.\nGuided tour of the Agricola Bellaria winery and tasting of Irpinia wines.\nReservations: info@agricolabellaria.it\nVia Fontana / Cerasuolo\, Roccabascerana (AV) \nBosca / Palazzo Irreale | Canelli (AT) – 5:30 p.m.\nBosca Cathedrals and Fragments of Duration.\nReservations: info@palazzoirreale.com\nVia G.B. SUMMARY:Cormons - Collio Evolution 2026
DESCRIPTION:A Fall Full of Events for the Collio Consortium: Collio Evolution\, the appellation’s major institutional event\, returns with its second edition dedicated to Pinot Grigio\nA busy fall is underway for the Consorzio Tutela Vini Collio\, which is showcasing the region and its wines from the harvest—now drawing to a close—through the major events of the coming months\, both in Italy and abroad\, with Collio Evolution serving as the highlight of the year. \nThe 2026 Grape Harvest in Collio\nThe 2026 grape harvest in Collio is now drawing to a close. Having begun before mid-August\, it was the earliest on record for the region since 2003: the harvest began with the earliest-ripening varieties\, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon\, followed by Friulano\, Malvasia Istriana\, and Ribolla Gialla\, and is now wrapping up with the red grapes. \nThe lack of rain for most of the summer and the heat waves—which occurred mainly just before harvest—affected yields in some areas and for certain varieties\, also impacting the analytical parameters of the grapes; in some cases\, this resulted in higher sugar concentrations and lower acidity. The rains\, though late\, have nevertheless improved the overall picture: the quality of the musts today bodes well for wines of excellent quality. \n“We haven’t started harvesting this early since 2003\,” says President Luca Raccaro\, “and that alone says a lot about how the climate is changing the way we work in the vineyard. A rainless summer and heat waves just before the harvest affected yields and\, in some cases\, the balance between sugar and acidity; the rains\, though late\, ultimately restored the overall picture. Today we look at the musts in the cellar with confidence: the conditions are right for wines of excellent quality.” \nCollio Evolution 2026\nÈ Collio Evolution the cornerstone around which much of the Consortium’s work revolves: From October 24 to 26\, the event returns for its second edition in Cormons\, in the City Hall at 22 Piazza XXIV Maggio\, the same venue as last year. Established in 2025\, it is the appellation’s flagship event: the place where the region showcases itself and engages in dialogue with the press and industry professionals. The title chosen for 2026\, “Beyond the Grape Variety. From the Vineyard to the Glass: The Essence of Pinot Grigio’s Identity”\, also indicates the grape variety to which this edition is dedicated: Pinot Grigio\, seen as a gateway to the region’s soils\, microclimates\, and winemaking practices. \nOver the course of the three-day event\, the Consortium expects more than 50 Italian and international journalists. The event will be preceded by a press tour reserved for foreign journalists invited by Collio Evolution\, who will arrive from the United States\, Brazil\, Poland\, Austria\, the UK\, Canada\, and the Netherlands to experience the region before the event. \n“We’re delighted about this press tour because it gives foreign journalists the chance to really get to know our region even before the event begins\,” says Lavinia Zamaro\, Director of the Collio Consortium. \nProgram\nThe program kicks off on Saturday with a masterclass dedicated to Collio Pinot Grigio. \nNext up is the conference featuring the presentation of the second part of the Nomisma study\, this time focused on the Horeca sector. \nA second masterclass is scheduled for Sunday morning\, followed by a walk-around tasting with the producers. A technical tasting dedicated to various interpretations and vintages of Pinot Grigio is also reserved for the press. \n“Collio Evolution is the moment when the appellation takes stock of itself: from technical tastings to an analysis of research data\, all the way to direct dialogue with producers. These various tools all serve a single purpose: to provide our winemakers and guests with a clear snapshot of the current state of the Collio region\,” Raccaro emphasizes. \nFull details are available on the official website of the Collio Wine Protection Consortium \nTickets Available Online

Two days dedicated to artisanal wine and small producers\, with tastings\, meetings with winemakers\, taste workshops\, and a gastronomic offering alongside the wine trail. \nThe underlying theme of the 2026 edition will be “Artisanal Intelligence”\, a theme that focuses on knowledge built through experience\, manual labor\, time\, and the transmission of knowledge.
