SUMMARY:Turin – Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2026
DESCRIPTION:Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2026: From September 24th to 27th\, Turin returns to the center of food culture\, with biodiversity as the theme and guiding thread of the 16th edition\nFrom September 24 to 27\, 2026\, Terra Madre Salone del Gusto\, the major international event dedicated to good\, clean\, and fair food and food policies\, organized by Slow Food\, the City of Turin\, and the Piedmont Region\, returns to Turin. \nThe 2026 edition coincides with the 40th anniversary of Slow Food Italia and focuses on the theme “Biodiversity – Be Diversity\, ” interpreting biodiversity not only as the protection of biological and agricultural diversity\, but also as cultural\, gastronomic\, and social wealth. \nFor four days\, Turin’s historic center becomes the heart of a major international gathering of producers\, food communities\, chefs\, artisans\, experts\, and visitors\, with the large Terra Madre market spreading out across the squares and streets of the city center. Among the main areas involved are Piazza San Carlo\, Piazza Castello\, Piazza Carlo Alberto\, Piazza CLN\, Via Roma\, and Piazza Vittorio\, along with numerous other locations throughout the city. \nThe Terra Madre Market\nThe market is one of the highlights of the event and brings together hundreds of Italian and international producers\, selected for their commitment to protecting biodiversity and promoting their local regions. It’s an opportunity to meet producers in person\, learn about often-overlooked foods and traditions\, and discover the work of the Slow Food network’s communities. \nIn addition to the market\, Terra Madre offers a packed schedule of conferences\, seminars\, Taste Workshops\, dining events with chefs and producers\, sensory games\, and educational activities\, as well as new formats developed in collaboration with Turin’s leading cultural institutions. \nSpecial attention is also given to the younger generations\, with activities in schools and in school and community gardens\, to explore the relationship between food\, the environment\, agriculture\, and the future. \nBiodiversity and 40 Years of Slow Food\nThe theme of biodiversity takes on a particularly broad significance in 2026. The slogan “Biodiversity – Be Diversity” invites us to view diversity as a value worth protecting in all its forms: the diversity of ecosystems and crops\, but also the diversity of knowledge\, cultures\, and communities. \nThe 16th edition also serves as an opportunity to reflect on Slow Food Italy’s 40-year history\, through initiatives that trace the history of the association and its main projects\, including the Ark of Taste\, the Slow Food Presidia\, and the Slow Food Alliance of Chefs. \nEvents celebrating this anniversary include meetings and talks hosted\, among other venues\, at the Gallerie d’Italia andthe Auditorium Reale Mutua\, featuring prominent figures from the worlds of culture\, food\, and social activism. \nNot Just Turin: The Terra Madre Journey\nTerra Madre Salone del Gusto is the centerpiece of a much broader journey. \nThe Road to Terra Madre project complements the event with activities organized in Italy and around the world\, while Terra Madre Off\, from September 21 to 28\, features initiatives\, meetings\, and experiences in various locations throughout Turin and Piedmont. \nThe event in Turin thus becomes the culmination of a journey that has involved the international Slow Food network and the communities working daily to defend biodiversity and promote more sustainable food systems for months. \nAdmission and Events\nIn 2026\, general admission to Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is free. \nSome events on the program\, including the Taste Workshops and Dining Events\, require a fee and advance registration. The official program is already online and is being updated regularly with new events. \nTerra Madre Salone del Gusto thus remains a particularly interesting event not only for food enthusiasts\, but also for anyone who wants to learn about products\, people\, cultures\, and regions through food and to understand the role that biodiversity can play in the future of food. \nSummary: \n\nDates: September 24–27\, 2026\nLocation: Turin\, historic center and other venues throughout the city\nOrganizers: Slow Food\, the City of Turin\, and the Piedmont Region\nAdmission: Free\, with some paid events\nOfficial website:https://2026.terramadresalonedelgusto.com/

SUMMARY:Marsala – Unusual Marsala 2026
DESCRIPTION:Insolito Marsala 2026: from September 30th to October 4th\, five days of wine\, food\, hospitality\, and new ideas to discover western Sicily\nFrom September 30 to October 4\, 2026\, Insolito Marsala returns\, a project dedicated to the world of wine\, Ho.Re.Ca.\, hospitality\, and innovation. For its third edition\, it expands its scope from the city of Marsala to western Sicily. Wineries\, salt pans\, restaurants\, accommodations\, cities and landscapes thus become part of a journey that combines training\, tasting\, discovery of the territory and relationships. \nInsolito Marsala was founded with the goal of creating opportunities for businesses\, professionals\, students\, institutions\, creators\, and the public to come together\, bringing local expertise into dialogue with national and international perspectives. It is neither a trade show nor a traditional wine festival\, but rather a widespread experience that uses wine and hospitality as a starting point to tell the story of a region in a contemporary way. \nThe 2026 edition therefore marks a significant evolution of the project: Marsala remains the starting point\, but the event sets out on a journey\, passing through new destinations in western Sicily and offering a different way to explore and experience the region through wine\, cuisine\, hospitality\, and innovation \nProgram\nThe project revolves around three areas: Wine\, Ho.Re.Ca.\, and Hospitality 3.0. \n\nThe wine-focused component includes tastings\, winery tours\, themed itineraries\, and opportunities to meet producers and explore the regions of western Sicily. Wine thus becomes a means of discovering stories\, people\, products\, and new forms of wine tourism.\nThe Ho.Re.Ca. sector\, on the other hand\, involves restaurants\, bars\, cafes\, wineries\, hotels\, and other hospitality businesses through training\, meetings\, masterclasses\, and opportunities for discussion tailored to those who work daily with the public and in customer service. The program covers everything from wine to coffee\, from dining room service to communication and new tools for the hospitality industry.\nWith “Hospitality 3.0\,” Insolito Marsala focuses instead on the evolution of tourism and hospitality\, addressing topics such as artificial intelligence\, digital content\, immersive experiences\, hospitality tech\, and destination storytelling through talks\, case studies\, and meetings with Italian and international guests.\n\nThe day is structured to alternate between different activities: the morning is dedicated to professional discussions and training\, the afternoon to experiences centered on wine\, food\, and the landscape\, while the evening takes on a more convivial atmosphere\, featuring dinners\, DJ sets\, music\, mixology\, and opportunities to socialize. \nAmong the training programs offered is the Insolito Academy\, which focuses on professional development in the areas of wine\, hospitality\, food and wine tourism\, communication\, artificial intelligence\, storytelling\, and new experiential models. \nThe schedule is being updated on the official website \nInformation Summary\n\nDates: September 30 – October 4\, 2026\nLocations: Marsala and other locations in western Sicily\nOfficial Website: https://insolitomarsala.com/
