SUMMARY:Flos Olei Tour in Rome
DESCRIPTION:Flos Olei Tour in Rome: in December\, the capital celebrates the excellence of extra virgin olive oil in the world\nRome returns to be the international stage of extra virgin olive oil with the Flos Olei Tour in Rome\, the event that brings together in the Capital the best producers in the world selected by the prestigious guide Flos Olei. An event that\, once again this year\, confirms itself as a point of reference for enthusiasts\, insiders and those who want to deepen the culture of quality oil through an experiential and engaging approach. \nThe Rome tour represents the central stage of a global journey dedicated to EVOO of excellence. In December\, in the refined setting of The Westin Excelsior Rome \, which will host the 2025 edition\, visitors will be able to meet producers not only from Italy’s olive-growing regions\, but also from many countries in the Mediterranean and around the world. A unique sensory overview that tells of the extraordinary biodiversity of extra virgin olive oil\, from the most famous cultivars to rare expressions of lesser-known territories. \nBetween tasting benches\, thematic masterclasses and dedicated meetings\, Flos Olei Tour in Rome aims to educate the public to recognize quality and interpret the nuances of EVOO: intensity\, aromatic balances\, bitterness and spiciness\, and clean sip. A real journey among scents of green tomato\, almond\, artichoke\, freshly cut grass\, guiding to the discovery of the thousand identities of contemporary extra virgin oil. \nTo complete the experience\, there is no shortage of gastronomic pairings and in-depth discussions dedicated to its use in the kitchen\, with showcooking and guided tastings. The goal is to enhance extra virgin olive oil as an identifying ingredient of Mediterranean gastronomic culture\, capable of transforming a dish and telling\, on its own\, the story of a land. \nThe Flos Olei Guide 2026\nA central role is given to the new edition of the Flos Olei 2026 guide\, considered the most authoritative international publication dedicated to extra virgin olive oil. Each year it selects\, evaluates and narrates the companies that best interpret the relationship between territory\, cultivar and production savoir-faire. The tour thus becomes the perfect opportunity to meet in person the protagonists of these excellences and to understand firsthand the agronomic and technological choices that lead to the birth of great oils. \n“We are ready again in this new edition\,” explains Marco Oreggia\, creator and editor of the guide – to continue to tell the story of the work\, passion and stories of the producers who contribute to the success of olive growing worldwide. Once again this year\, Italy proves to be an international reference point\, among great confirmations and excellent productions yet to be discovered. At the same time\, the guide highlights a great vitality of the sector in much of the globe: from Spain to Croatia\, Greece\, South Africa and Chile\, in fact\, a world of olive growing in great shape emerges\, increasingly attentive to sustainability and production quality.” \n“As every year\, we want to celebrate not only the Extravergines of excellence\,” stresses Laura Marinelli\, editor of the guide\, “but also the constancy and consistency of those producers who are able to carry out a path made of research and enhancement of the territory\, where innovation does not erase tradition\, on the contrary it renews it and makes it even more alive. \nDetailed program:\nFriday\, December 5 \n\n5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Press conference – Presentation of the Flos Olei 2026 guidebook – Awards ceremony\n8 p.m. – 11 p.m.: Dinner Buffet(reservation required\, reserved for producers and importers)\n\nSaturday\, December 6 \n\n10 am – 3 pm: Flos Olei Tour in Rome – Free Tasting\n\n11 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Guided tasting of Hall of Fame oils – Advanced course (by Marco Oreggia)\n12 p.m. – 1 p.m.: Guided tasting of oils from The Best – Introductory course (by Luca Mangoni)\n\n\n3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Flos Olei Tour in Rome – Free Tasting – Corner with Chefs and Food Products\n\n3 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Guided tasting of Hall of Fame oils – Advanced course (by Duccio Morozzo)\n5 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Guided tasting of oils from The Best – Introductory course (by Barbara Bartolacci)\n\n\n\nAt the official event page you can find the list of companies attending and all the details \nTickets are available online

SUMMARY:Glasses at the Museum
DESCRIPTION:Goblets at the Museum\, the wine market fair at the Textile Museum: when wine becomes culture in Busto Arsizio\nIn Busto Arsizio\, wine is back in the spotlight with Calici al Museo\, an event that combines selected tastings and cultural discovery within a unique setting: the Textile Museum. An event designed for those who love to explore the area through its flavors\, immersed in an atmosphere that enhances both local history and Italian wine excellence. \nThe initiative was created with a clear goal: to transform an evening of wine tasting into an experiential journey. Among tasting counters curated by producers and artisan wineries\, participants have the opportunity to meet directly with those who create the wine\, listen to stories of vineyards\, vintages and production choices\, and let themselves be guided on a journey that goes beyond mere tasting. Calici al Museo thus becomes a bridge between territory\, culture and conviviality. \nThe selection of labels is designed to embrace different areas of Italy\, from the best-known realities to small emerging wineries. The audience can explore fresh and vertical whites\, structured or immediately drinkable reds\, elegant rosés\, to some more refined proposals\, such as classic methods from small maisons and wines from recovered indigenous grapes. The added value of the format lies precisely in the opportunity to compare styles\, narratives and winemaking interpretations in an open and informal setting. \nTo enrich the experience\, there are also moments dedicated to the discovery of the Textile Museum\, which opens its halls offering visitors a glimpse into the industrial history of Busto Arsizio. This is a way to remember how deeply culture and territory are intertwined: just as the museum preserves the memory of the city’s manufacturing past\, wine tells the story of the identity and work of its land of origin. \nCalici al Museo is therefore more than a tasting: it is an invitation to slow down\, observe\, listen and savor. In addition to these extraordinary offerings\, you will also find a la carte dishes\, from the simplest to the most refined creations\, to make this a truly unforgettable experience. \nUseful information:\n\nWhen: December 6\, 2025 (11 a.m.-2 p.m.) and December 7\, 2025 (11 a.m.-7 p.m.)\nWhere: the Busto Arsizio Textile Museum\, fully covered and heated location\nProducers present: More than 35 selected producers from all over Italy\, hundreds of labels for free tasting\nPairing: Gourmet tasting menu signed by a great chef\nTickets: on sale in advance online\nOfficial website: Glasses at the Museum

SUMMARY:Calvisano - Wine In-dependent 2026
DESCRIPTION:Wine In-dependent 2026 – Sunday\, Jan. 11 in Calvisano (BS)\, tasting booths\, natural wines from independent winemakers\, direct purchase and artisanal products.\nIn the heart of Italy’s wine winter\, Vino In-dependente 2026 returns. The fair-market is dedicated to artisanal and natural wines that favor the integrity of the terroir and a respectful approach to the vine\, natural cycles and the environment. The event takes place on Sunday\, January 11\, 2026 at the Beata Cristina Multipurpose Hall in Calvisano\, in the province of Brescia. Opening hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. \nVino In-dependente was born from the passion of Stefano Belli\, a sommelier and great promoter of natural wines\, with the intention of enhancing the work of winemakers who operate with as little intervention as possible\, both in the vineyard and in the cellar\, avoiding chemical additives and invasive practices to instead enhance the expression of the terroir and the vintage. \nThe centerpiece of the event is the exhibition-market with tasting counters open to the public. Each participant can freely taste the wines offered by the winemakers present and\, if desired\, purchase directly from the producers. The entrance ticket includes the official glass of the event and unlimited tasting throughout the day\, and can be purchased on site. Admission is restricted to those over 18 years of age. \nThe exhibition proposal embraces a range of natural wines from different Italian regions. The producers share a philosophy of sustainable\, artisanal and ecosystem-conscious viticulture. This makes the event not just a tasting\, but an opportunity to meet the protagonists of an ethical wine movement and hear their stories of passion\, toil and research. \nIn addition to wines\, the event often hosts artisanal food producers and gastronomic products related to local culture\, making the tasting experience even richer and more complete. The format of Vino In-dependente is perfect for wine lovers\, operators\, retailers and the simply curious who want to delve into the world of natural wines\, engage with producers and discover new expressions of grape varieties and terroirs.

SUMMARY:Palermo - NOT - Vini Franchi 2026
DESCRIPTION:NOT – Vini Franchi 2026\,the great exhibition of natural and artisanal wines in Palermo\, including tastings\, meetings and natural wine culture.\nNOT – Vini Franchi is the exhibition dedicated to natural and artisanal wines that focuses on the figure of the independent winemaker and the production principle that inspires the very name of the event: frank\, meaning free from excessive intervention in the vineyard and cellar. The format’s historic pay-off – Do Not Modify\, Do Not Interfere – summarizes the philosophy of frank wines\, where the role of grapes\, terroir and natural conditions is authentically expressed in the glass. \nThe festival is spread over two intense days of tastings\, meetings and insights. \nThe first day is open to wine lovers\, enthusiasts and the general public with the classic walk-around tasting at the tasting tables. Here it is possible to meet producers\, taste natural wines from all over Italy (and abroad)\, and discover new realities of artisanal wine. It is also possible to engage with those who actually work in the vineyard and cellar according to practices that respect nature. \nThe second day is dedicated to industry professionals\, with access reserved for restaurateurs\, wine merchants\, buyers and journalists. More technical discussions\, one-on-one meetings with producers and targeted insights into natural wine trends and market opportunities are developed during this professional phase. \nComplementing the program are side events\, thematic seminars and convivial moments – in venues and partner venues around the city – known as NOT OFF. The side events expand the experience beyond just the tasting room\, touching on aspects of gastronomic culture\, territory and conviviality related to natural wine. \nParticipating in NOT – Vini Franchi means immersing yourself in the universe of authentic wine\, giving space to labels capable of telling the story of their terroir and their winemaker\, and discovering how the artisanal\, non-interventionist approach is redefining the sensibility of winelovers and professionals alike. \nUseful Information:\nDates: \n\nJanuary 15 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.\nJanuary 16 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.\n\nLocation: Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa\, PalermoFor tickets and accreditation\, visit NOT – Vini Franchi

SUMMARY:Breganze - La Prima del Torcolato 2026
DESCRIPTION:La Prima del Torcolato 2026: in Breganze\, the ritual celebrating identity\, tradition and the new vintage\nOn Sunday\, January 18\, 2026\, Breganze renews one of its most identifiable events with the 31st edition of the Prima del Torcolato\, the event that celebrates the symbolic moment of birth of the new vintage of Torcolato D.O.C. Breganze\, through the traditional public pressing of Vespaiola grapes. A celebration that unites wine\, territory and community\, rooted in a centuries-old winemaking tradition that dates back to the late 19th century. \nThe heart and thread of the 2026 edition will be the official investiture of the new Torcolato Ambassador to the world\, a role that this year is entrusted to Gabriella Dorio\, icon of Italian athletics and Olympic 1500-meter champion at the 1984 Los Angeles Games. A recognition that goes beyond symbolic value: her sporting history\, made up of discipline\, determination and passion\, perfectly embodies the values that guide the production of Torcolato\, an emblematic wine of the Breganzese territory. \nOrganized by the Pro Loco of Breganze\, in collaboration with the Municipality of Breganze\, the Consortium for the Protection of the D.O.C. of Breganze Wines and the Magnifica Fraglia del Torcolato\, the Prima del Torcolato is confirmed again in 2026 as an unmissable event for those who wish to experience up close the most authentic soul of this great Veneto raisin wine. \nThe D.O.C. Breganze\nThe Consortium for the Protection of D.O.C. Breganze Wines\, founded in 1982 by five producers\, now associates 17 winemaking members. The area covered is that of the Pedemontana Vicentina\, which has always been a land of great viticultural tradition\, and since 1969 has boasted the Breganze Denominazione di Origine Controllata\, the first in the Vicenza area. It includes the hills and the immediate plain included between the valleys of the Astico and Brenta rivers. Of this area Breganze is almost the geographic center\, while the other strongholds are Thiene to the west and Bassano del Grappa to the east. From an enological point of view\, the D.O.C. Breganze groups fifteen types of wines: Bianco\, Tai\, Vespaiolo\, Vespaiolo Spumante\, Pinot Grigio\, Pinot Bianco\, Chardonnay\, Sauvignon\, Rosso\, Merlot\, Cabernet\, Cabernet Sauvignon\, Pinot Nero\, Marzemino and Torcolato. The latter is certainly the most famous and representative of the appellation. \nThe Torcolato\nTorcolato D.O.C. Breganze is a sweet wine\, which is made from the bunches of the Vespaiola grape\, an indigenous variety of Breganze\, harvested perfectly ripe\, selected and put to dry in airy environments (like the barns of old farmhouses). Here they are left until the following January when\, having reached a high level of sweetness\, they are pressed. After a slow fermentation\, the wine rests in small barrels and waits at least two years before being released on the market. \nEvent schedule.\nThe day will kick off at 9 a.m. in Piazza Mazzini\, with the opening of the Market Exhibition of typical products and the stand dedicated to Torcolato\, organized by the Pro Loco of Breganze. Also embellishing the atmosphere will be an exhibition of vintage cars\, which will take the public on a journey between taste and memory. \nIn the early afternoon\, from 1:30 to 4 p.m.\, space for one of the most evocative moments of the event: “Toast in the Bell Tower\,” guided tours of the Diedo Tower\, one of the tallest bell towers in the Veneto region\, with tasting of Torcolato wine at altitude. A unique experience\, curated by the Arci-La Ciacola Association and the Gruppo Campanari di Breganze. \nStarting at 2 p.m.\, the square will come alive with the parade of the Magnifica Fraglia del Torcolato D.O.C. Breganze\, the greeting of the authorities and the official investiture of the new Brothers and the Ambassadress. Among the guests\, also theToresàn Academy of Breganze\, which will accompany the public to discover the local gastronomic tradition related to the spit. \nThe most anticipated moment remains the public pressing of the Vespaiola grapes in the large press set up in the square\, followed by the collective toast with the first must of the new vintage\, a ritual gesture that symbolically marks the beginning of the new production cycle. \nIn the afternoon\, from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.\, the festival continues with the Fruttaio Tour\, free guided tours of participating wineries\, where it will be possible to discover the places of the drying process and meet directly with the producers of Torcolato D.O.C. Breganze. \nInfo: www.breganzedoc.it

SUMMARY:Convivium Renaissance 2026
DESCRIPTION:Convivium Renaissance 2026 – Rome becomes the capital of biodynamic wine on Jan. 19\nOn Monday\, January 19\, 2026 Rome hosts Convivium Renaissance\, an international event dedicated to biodynamic viticulture and organized by Renaissance des Appellations – Italy. \nScheduled from 12 noon to 7 p.m. at Garum – Museum of Cuisine\, in the picturesque area of the Circus Maximus\, this event represents one of the most important moments of the year for wine professionals who believe in natural agriculture\, respectful of the land and capable of expressing terroir in an authentic way. \nThe event is designed as a professional meeting that encourages the exchange of ideas\, experiences and visions between international winemakers and HoReCa and wine industry professionals. \nIn fact\, about 60 winemakers from different parts of the world will be present\, each with their benchmark biodynamic wines. Among the expected names are well-established realities in the natural scene\, such as Emidio Pepe\, Ampeleia\, Foradori and Movia\, along with prominent international producers. \nThe heart of the day is the walk-around tasting at Garum\, where accredited operators can taste the wines present\, engage directly with the producers and learn more about the techniques and working philosophies that characterize biodynamic wines. The word Convivium\, from the Latin convivere (“to live together”)\, sums up precisely the spirit of the meeting: an opportunity to meet\, taste\, compare and build professional relationships based on shared values. \nRenaissance des Appellations\nConvivium Renaissance was born from the vision of Renaissance des Appellations\, an association founded by European biodynamic viticulture pioneer Nicolas Joly\, which brings together winemakers from around the world committed to strict and sustainable agricultural practices. The goal is clear: wine must be a sincere expression of the place from which it comes\, without shortcuts or invasive interventions\, but with deep attention to the soil\, climate and rhythms of nature. \nUseful Information\nThe event is reserved for HoReCa operators with a VAT number: participation is free\, with a maximum of two accreditations per activity.Accreditation must be requested through registration on Renaissance Italia’s official website and will be confirmed by email after verification. \nFor all useful information on the full program\, accreditation methods and details of the attending winemakers\, you can visit the official page of Convivium Renaissance.

SUMMARY:Florence - Migrant Wines 2026
DESCRIPTION:Migrant Wines 2026: January 25 and 26 in Florence\, the 6th edition of the International Exhibition Market of Artisan Wines and People’s Stories\nVini Migranti is a wine fair that combines tasting\, culture and storytelling\, giving voice to producers from around the world who bring with them stories of migration\, cultural contamination and passion for artisanal wine. This annual event stands out for its ability to tell the story of wine not only as a product\, but as an experience of life and relationships\, in a direct confrontation between winemakers\, operators\, buyers and enthusiasts. \nMigrant Wines 2026 offers visitors a true exhibition-market. More than 90 winemakers from around the world-with a strong Italian representation and numerous international presences-present their artisanal wines. It is a unique opportunity to taste labels that reflect different winemaking traditions\, territorial cultures and life paths. \nThe heart of the event is the tasting counter. Winemakers are present directly at the counter to tell about their work in the vineyard and winery\, production methods and the story behind each bottle. The Vini Migranti formula encourages direct dialogue\, listening and sharing\, elements that make the event much more than just a tasting. \nIn addition to free tastings\, the program also includes meetings\, dialogues and moments of exchange-often focusing on topics such as sustainability\, cultural identity and global relationship networks in the world of wine-encouraging an informed approach to wine consumption and production. \nMigrant Wines is therefore an event that goes beyond the sensory experience. It is a journey through stories of people\, territories and wines that “migrate” across geographic and cultural boundaries\, creating connections and new perspectives. For those who love to taste wines that are different from the usual commercial scene and for those who want to meet those who make and live those wines every day\, Vini Migranti 2026 represents an unmissable event in the calendar of major Italian wine events. \nProgram:\nThe sixth edition of Migrant Wines 2026 will be held in Florence at VIVIDO in Manifattura Tabacchi. \n\nSunday\, January 25\, 2026 ( 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.)\nMonday\, January 26\, 2026 ( 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)\n\nThe choice of Manifattura Tabacchi\, a multifunctional space open to the city\, reflects the event’s vocation to be a place of meeting\, exchange and discovery. \nAll information is available on the event page \nTickets available for purchase online
