SUMMARY:Venice - Malvasia Pop-Up
DESCRIPTION:Malvasia Pop Up: When Malvasia Is Pop! The project dedicated to one of the most fascinating stories in the world of wine\, winner of the 2026 Iter Vitis Award\nMalvasia Pop-Up\nMalvasia Pop Up™ is a cultural and food-and-wine project conceived in Venice by Laura Riolfatto—a cultural project manager\, wine storyteller\, and sommelier— dedicated to researching and promoting the nineteen varieties of Italian Malvasia and their historical ties to Venice and the Mediterranean. \nAt Docks Cantieri Cucchini in San Pietro di Castello \, as well as along routes extending to the city of Venice and the lagoon\, the project takes shape through social events where wine and food are the focal points of conversation among people\, lagoon cruises\, urban tours\, and special gatherings. \nRecently\, Malvasia Pop Up™ received The Iter Vitis Award 2026 – Best Wine and Food Experience for its contribution to promoting wine heritage\, cultural tourism\, and sustainable regional development. The award—sponsored by Iter Vitis\, the international federation that celebrates and protects the world’s wine heritage by promoting sustainable wine tourism – recognized the value of an independent project that uses the Wine heritage as a tool for knowledge and cultural storytelling. In addition\, on that occasion Laura Riolfatto has been named Malvasia Ambassador for Malvasia Myth\, an international project dedicated to promoting Malvasia wines and their cultural and viticultural heritage. \n“Malvasia Pop Up was born from a very simple question\, – says its creator\, Laura Riolfatto – ‘How many stories can we tell starting with a glass of Malvasia?’ From there\, I embarked on a journey that led me to bring together wine\, history\, art\, food\, photography\, and culinary culture\, exploring the deep connection that links Malvasia wines to Venice and the Mediterranean. Receiving this award means seeing this very approach to wine recognized—not merely as something to be tasted\, but as a language through which to convey culture\, memory\, and history.” \nEvent Calendar\n\nOctober 17\, toward evening\, in the Lagoon will take Malvasia Pop Up™ out onto the water\, aboard Camoma’s historic bragozzo\, the Sant’Alban\, for a journey through the Venetian Lagoon at the intersection of wine\, landscape\, and memory. The boat trip—which will depart from San Pietro di Castello—will become part of the narrative: the history of Malvasia\, its trade\, and its centuries-old connection to Venice will intertwine with that of Dorona\, the lagoon’s iconic grape variety. A stop at Vignole\, amid vegetable gardens and the lagoon landscape\, will feature a tasting and an introduction to the island’s culinary delights\, before returning to Venice as evening falls. An experience designed to explore the lagoon through wine\, following the traces of a culture born from the encounter between water\, land\, and the vine.\nOn November 20\, it will be time for The Night of the Malvasias—Stories\, Mysteries\, and Wine in Autumn Venice: a special event featuring Venetian writer and storyteller Alberto Toso Fei\, in which stories\, legends\, and anecdotes from Venice’s most secret corners will intertwine with the history of Malvasia and the traces this wine has left in the city over the centuries. The story will continue at the table with a tasting of three rare Italian red Malvasia wines\, on a journey through regions\, grape varieties\, and memory\, organized in collaboration with Iter Vitis\, a Cultural Route of the Council of Europe and with the Consortium for the Protection of Malvasia di Casorzo DOC. The event will take place at the Cantieri Cucchini Docks inside Tesa3 Marzotto.\nOn December 20\, the 2026 program will conclude with The Table as a Cultural Language\, a lunch and storytelling event dedicated to Italian red Malvasia wines. The table as a meeting place for wine\, food\, and culture\, where the tasting becomes the thread of a story that weaves through territories\, traditions\, memories\, and gestures of conviviality. Red Malvasia wines\, in their various expressions\, will accompany a gastronomic journey designed to convey—through taste—the identity of the places from which they originate. An intimate gathering for a select few guests\, on the eve of Christmas\, that will symbolically bring the second year of Malvasia Pop Up™ to a close by returning wine to its most ancient and universal dimension: that of the table as a space for connection\, storytelling\, and sharing. The event will take place at the Cantieri Cucchini Docks inside Tesa3 Marzotto.\n\nVia Querinissima\n Malvasia Pop Up™ is also part of the Via Querinissima network —the European Cultural Route that retraces the journey undertaken in the 15th century by the Venetian nobleman and merchant Pietro Querini. It thus connects Venice with the European territories featured in his story. This participation is in line with Malvasia Pop Up™’s mission to forge connections between wine\, history\, cultural routes\, and European heritage\, starting from Venice and its centuries-old openness toward the Mediterranean and Europe.

SUMMARY:Montecavolo di Quattro Castella – Skin Contact Wine Fest 2026
DESCRIPTION:Skin Contact Wine Fest 2026: The international festival dedicated to macerated white wines and orange wines returns on October 18 in Montecavolo di Quattro Castella\nThe Skin-Contact Wine Festival\nOn Sunday\, October 18 \, 2026\, the Skin Contact Wine Fest returns to Montecavolo di Quattro Castella\, in the province of Reggio Emilia\, for its third edition. The event is dedicated to macerated white wines and Orange Wines\, produced by vinifying white grapes with a period of skin contact—a practice traditionally associated with red wine production. \nThe event was created with the goal of highlighting this unique expression of wine\, focusing on maceration and the relationship between grape variety\, terroir\, and the winemaker’s interpretation. The program includes a day entirely dedicated to wine tasting and direct interaction with the winemakers. \nThe Skin Contact Wine Fest thus offers an experience focused on a type of wine that has won over an increasingly broad audience in recent years\, but which the event chooses to explore primarily through direct interaction with producers and an understanding of the various approaches to maceration. \nAbout fifty producers from Italy and abroad\nThe heart of the festival will be the tasting stations\, where approximately 50 selected producers from various Italian regions and abroad will be present. Visitors will be able to taste the wines freely and speak directly with the producers\, with the option to purchase bottles after the tastings. \nThe list of participants is still being updated. Among the companies already listed are some from Georgia\, Slovenia\, and Croatia. \nIn fact\, the festival’s international presence is one of its defining features\, with a selection that allows for a comparison of different interpretations of wines produced through skin maceration. \nTastings and In-Depth Discussions\nThe format remains that of a tasting event without the traditional trade show setup: attendees can move freely among the booths\, taste the wines\, and purchase bottles directly from the participating wineries. \nIn addition to the tasting stations\, a masterclass will be held in collaboration with AIS—the Italian Sommelier Association—scheduled for 12:00 p.m. The theme and details of the event are still being finalized. \nThroughout the event\, there will also bea food court run by Pro Loco Matildica\, offering food and drinks that can be purchased separately from the admission ticket. \nPractical information\n\nDate: Sunday\, October 18\, 2026\nTime: 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.\nLocation: Il Boccio\, Via Fratelli Cervi 37\, entrance on Via Nenni\, Montecavolo di Quattro Castella (RE)\nMasterclass: by payment and reservation only\nFood and beverage area: provided by Pro Loco Matildica\nOfficial website: https://www.skincontactwine.it/\n\nThe ticket includes admission to the event\, unlimited tastings at the tasting stations\, a tasting glass\, and a glass holder.

A program that will intertwine landscape education\, memory\, wine culture\, and regional development: from an educational visit to the Vigneto Cana\, dedicated to the new generations\, to the assembly of the Sicilian Wine Production District\, to the opening public meeting at Palazzo Panitteri\, with readings from Wine to Wine by Mario Soldati\, the presentation of the National Program\, and a discussion between institutions\, businesses\, research\, culture\, and tourism on the future of wine-growing regions. \nFrom the Cinque Terre to Pantelleria: the variety of wine-growing landscapes\nFrom the Cinque Terre to Pantelleria\, from the Langhe to Irpinia\, from Franciacorta to Chianti\, from Maremma to Vulture\, the program will traverse some of the most representative landscapes of Italian viticulture\, connecting different experiences and sensibilities. \nFrom the terraces of heroic viticulture to volcanic vineyards\, from archaeological landscapes to designer cellars\, from wine museums to historic villages\, to experiences of social innovation\, the first GPVI offers a reading of the landscape as a living heritage\, the result of the relationships between nature\, culture\, productive activities\, and community. \nContemporary art\, research and sustainability\nThe dialogue between contemporary art and the wine-growing landscape takes on particular importance\, thanks also to the contribution of MetodoContemporaneo. Widespread itineraries through the arts\, wine\, and landscape\, involving wineries\, museums\, foundations\, and cultural sites in various Italian regions. \nAlongside artistic and wine tourism experiences\, the programme devotes space to scientific research\, biodiversity\, environmental sustainability\, the protection of historic landscapes and the challenges posed by climate change\, as well as to the education of new generations\, inclusion and the social role of viticulture. \nA network of protagonists to enhance the territories\nThe Day is brought to life by a complex network of key players: wineries\, public institutions\, universities and research centers\, museums\, foundations\, cultural associations\, territorial development organizations\, schools\, and third sector organizations\, along with professionals from culture\, art\, agriculture\, and tourism. \nThis participation expresses the Day’s vocation to build relationships and collaborations between diverse stakeholders\, recognizing the landscape as the common thread of Italian viticulture’s identities and a strategic resource for the sustainable development of the regions. \nAn annual event for the future of the wine-growing landscape\nItalian Viticultural Landscape Day was born with the aim of becoming an annual national event dedicated to understanding\, protecting\, and enhancing grapevine landscapes\, promoting a growing awareness of their value and the shared responsibility for their conservation and transmission to future generations. \nFrom Sambuca di Sicilia to vineyards throughout Italy\, the first edition thus begins a collective journey of knowledge\, participation\, and collaboration to preserve and enhance the extraordinary diversity of Italy’s wine-growing landscapes. \nGiornata del Paesaggio Vitivinicolo Italiano – GPVI 2026\nPaesaggi di vite. SUMMARY:Throughout Italy - MetodoContemporaneo
DESCRIPTION:From October 23 to 25\, the MetodoContemporaneo event returns: a series of itineraries exploring art\, wine\, and the landscape at 14 Italian wineries\nFrom October 23 to 25\, 14 wineries in 8 Italian regions will open their doors to the public free of charge for the second edition of the networking event promoted by MetodoContemporaneo\, the first Italian observatory dedicated to the dialogue between contemporary art and the wine-growing landscape\, created by the University of Verona and BAM! Strategie Culturali. \nThis year\, the initiative supports the first National Day of the Italian Wine Landscape\, organized by Iter Vitis. \nOn October 23\, 24\, and 25\, 14 wineries across 8 regions will open their doors free of charge for the second edition of MetodoContemporaneo. Featuring itineraries that blend art\, wine\, and landscape\, this networked event—born from Italy’s first observatory on contemporary art and the wine-growing landscape—is being promoted this year by the University of Verona in collaboration with Iter Vitis and Nemo Monti Comunicazione. \nThree days and a single itinerary spanning the entire peninsula\, from Piedmont to Sicily\, to discover some of the Italian wineries that have made their connection with art\, architecture\, and culture an important part of their identity. Wineries\, collections\, museums\, and art projects open their doors to the public through guided tours\, talks\, and free experiences (by reservation)\, creating a “spread-out museum” that tells the story of the region through the interplay of wine\, art\, and landscape. \nThe Iter Vitis International Association\nThis year\, the project is further enriched by a partnership with the International Association Iter Vitis\, which conceived and promoted ITER VITIS – Les Chemins de la Vigne en Europe\, the Council of Europe’s 25th Cultural Route dedicated to vine and wine culture\, and coordinates the Iter Vitis Italia network. \nThis collaboration comes at a symbolic moment: the MetodoContemporaneo calendar is in fact part of the First Italian Wine Country Landscape Day —GPVI\, the new observance established to recognize the cultural\, historical\, and landscape value of vine and wine culture across Italy\, scheduled for October 20\, 2026\, the date of European Landscape Day. \n“We are extremely pleased to have so many Italian wineries participating\, representing the excellence of the union between wine culture and contemporary art. MetodoContemporaneo is a project created to map\, study\, explore\, promote\, and develop this phenomenon. This year\, for the online event\, we have partnered with Iter Vitis\, one of Europe’s leading organizations dedicated to promoting the wine-growing landscape as a vehicle for culture and dialogue. Through this collaboration\, the University of Verona is helping to launch the First National Wine-Growing Landscape Day.” Luca Bochicchio and Monica Molteni\, project leaders MetodoContemporaneo for the University of Verona. \nContemporary Method 2026\nOnce again this year\, in a mosaic of shared experiences\, each winery will offer an activity designed to engage wine tourists\, art enthusiasts\, industry professionals\, and local communities through guided tours and free experiences — bookable through the individual wineries’ channels— that bring together winemaking tradition and artistic and cultural heritage. \nThe initiative was launched to highlight the connection between art and wine as a driver of cultural and regional development\, to share best practices already implemented by individual wineries\, and to foster new relationships between wineries and those working in the cultural sector. This initiative reimagines the relationship between wineries and the local community\, promoting a sustainable way to explore the region and contributing to the creation of a new cultural landscape. \nThe first edition\, which took place in October 2025 and featured 14 wineries from north to south\, drew 766 visitors\, confirming the growing interest in initiatives that combine contemporary art\, wine\, and the local region with a focus on sustainable cultural tourism. \nWith its second edition\, MetodoContemporaneo continues its work to build a national network capable of bringing together experiences from different regions and highlighting the role of wineries not only as places of production but also as spaces for cultural creation and sharing\, in harmony with the landscape and the communities that inhabit it. \nTHE PROGRAM\nFRIDAY\, OCTOBER 23\nCa’ del Bosco | Erbusco (BS) – 10:30 a.m.\nGuided tour of the Ca’ del Bosco facilities and collection.\nReservations: visite@cadelbosco.com\nVia Albano Zanella 13\, Erbusco (BS) \nPerno Castle | Monforte d’Alba (CN) – 3:00 p.m.\nTour of Perno Castle: historic home of the Giulio Einaudi publishing house.\nReservations: castellodiperno.it/visite-e-degustazioni\nPerno hamlet\, Vicolo Roma 21\, Monforte d’Alba (CN) \nFeudi di San Gregorio | Sorbo Serpico (AV) – 3:00 p.m.\nFeudi di San Gregorio: a venue showcasing site-specific works from the company’s BeCurious project alongside a prestigious loan from the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation Collection.\nReservations: prenota@feudi.it\nCerza Grossa\, Sorbo Serpico (AV) \nCastello di Ama | Gaiole in Chianti (SI) – 4:00 p.m.\nGuided tour of the collection.\nReservations: enoteca@castellodiama.com\nLocalità Ama\, Gaiole in Chianti (SI) \nAgricola Bellaria | Roccabascerana (AV) – 5:00 p.m.\nGuided tour of the Agricola Bellaria winery and tasting of Irpinia wines.\nReservations: info@agricolabellaria.it\nVia Fontana / Cerasuolo\, Roccabascerana (AV) \nBosca / Palazzo Irreale | Canelli (AT) – 5:30 p.m.\nBosca Cathedrals and Fragments of Duration.\nReservations: info@palazzoirreale.com\nVia G.B. DESCRIPTION:A Fall Full of Events for the Collio Consortium: Collio Evolution\, the appellation’s major institutional event\, returns with its second edition dedicated to Pinot Grigio\nA busy fall is underway for the Consorzio Tutela Vini Collio\, which is showcasing the region and its wines from the harvest—now drawing to a close—through the major events of the coming months\, both in Italy and abroad\, with Collio Evolution serving as the highlight of the year. \nThe 2026 Grape Harvest in Collio\nThe 2026 grape harvest in Collio is now drawing to a close. Having begun before mid-August\, it was the earliest on record for the region since 2003: the harvest began with the earliest-ripening varieties\, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon\, followed by Friulano\, Malvasia Istriana\, and Ribolla Gialla\, and is now wrapping up with the red grapes. \nThe lack of rain for most of the summer and the heat waves—which occurred mainly just before harvest—affected yields in some areas and for certain varieties\, also impacting the analytical parameters of the grapes; in some cases\, this resulted in higher sugar concentrations and lower acidity. The rains\, though late\, have nevertheless improved the overall picture: the quality of the musts today bodes well for wines of excellent quality. \n“We haven’t started harvesting this early since 2003\,” says President Luca Raccaro\, “and that alone says a lot about how the climate is changing the way we work in the vineyard. A rainless summer and heat waves just before the harvest affected yields and\, in some cases\, the balance between sugar and acidity; the rains\, though late\, ultimately restored the overall picture. Today we look at the musts in the cellar with confidence: the conditions are right for wines of excellent quality.” \nCollio Evolution 2026\nÈ Collio Evolution the cornerstone around which much of the Consortium’s work revolves: From October 24 to 26\, the event returns for its second edition in Cormons\, in the City Hall at 22 Piazza XXIV Maggio\, the same venue as last year. Established in 2025\, it is the appellation’s flagship event: the place where the region showcases itself and engages in dialogue with the press and industry professionals. The title chosen for 2026\, “Beyond the Grape Variety. From the Vineyard to the Glass: The Essence of Pinot Grigio’s Identity”\, also indicates the grape variety to which this edition is dedicated: Pinot Grigio\, seen as a gateway to the region’s soils\, microclimates\, and winemaking practices. \nOver the course of the three-day event\, the Consortium expects more than 50 Italian and international journalists. The event will be preceded by a press tour reserved for foreign journalists invited by Collio Evolution\, who will arrive from the United States\, Brazil\, Poland\, Austria\, the UK\, Canada\, and the Netherlands to experience the region before the event. \n“We’re delighted about this press tour because it gives foreign journalists the chance to really get to know our region even before the event begins\,” says Lavinia Zamaro\, Director of the Collio Consortium. \nProgram\nThe program kicks off on Saturday with a masterclass dedicated to Collio Pinot Grigio. \nNext up is the conference featuring the presentation of the second part of the Nomisma study\, this time focused on the Horeca sector. \nA second masterclass is scheduled for Sunday morning\, followed by a walk-around tasting with the producers. A technical tasting dedicated to various interpretations and vintages of Pinot Grigio is also reserved for the press. \n“Collio Evolution is the moment when the appellation takes stock of itself: from technical tastings to an analysis of research data\, all the way to direct dialogue with producers. These various tools all serve a single purpose: to provide our winemakers and guests with a clear snapshot of the current state of the Collio region\,” Raccaro emphasizes. \nFull details are available on the official website of the Collio Wine Protection Consortium \nTickets Available Online

SUMMARY:Canneto Pavese - From Rice to Wine
DESCRIPTION:“From Rice to Wine”: Sunday\, October 25\, in Canneto Pavese—a day of food\, vineyards\, and rice culture\, organized by Lomellina Terra di Riso in collaboration with the Club del Buttafuoco Storico.\nFrom Lomellina to Oltrepò Pavese\, following the story of two products that\, more than any others\, reflect the agricultural landscape of the province of Pavia: rice and wine. And so\, “Di RISO IN VINO”\, an initiative organized by Lomellina Terra di Riso\, an association of producers dedicated to promoting Lomellina rice through events\, experiences\, and opportunities for dialogue. \nThe event will take place on Sunday\, October 25\, in Canneto Pavese\, at theEnoteca del Club del Buttafuoco Storico and the adjacent Club’s historic headquarters. The highlight of the day will be the pairing of Lomellina rice with wines from the Oltrepò Pavese region\, featuring culinary experiences\, walks through the vineyards\, activities for children\, and an educational tour focused on rice. \nLunch: Rice and Wine at the Table\nThe day will begin at 11:45 a.m. with a lunch for 40 people\, free of charge by reservation (https://www.eventbrite.it/e/biglietti-di-riso-in-vino-2002947586148) and served at the table. The menu is created by chef Franco Tolasi\, president of the Mortara Goose Salami Protection Consortium. Centered around the various types of rice grown by member farms of Lomellina Terra di Riso\, the menu is paired with a selection of Oltrepò wines\, recommended by the Club del Buttafuoco Storico. \nRice farmers and winemakers come together to create a gastronomic narrative told from multiple perspectives: the menu features “Goose Sushi\,” Lomellina-style arancino\, a warm rice and zucchini pie\, black rice with vegetables\, risotto with sausage\, saffron\, and porcini mushrooms\, and risotto with Bertagnina di Dorno squash\, Gorgonzola\, and rosemary. To end on a sweet note\, Grandma’s rice cake and the “Sgresà” cake made with rice flour. \nEach recipe is paired with a glass of wine from the Oltrepò Pavese region: Classese\, Bonarda “La Mossa Perfetta\,” Buttafuoco Storico\, and Moscato di Volpara. \nAn Afternoon Among the Vineyards and an Evening Snack\nIn the afternoon\, weather permitting\, there will be two guided walks through the vineyards of Canneto Pavese\, departing from the Enoteca at 2:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.. The tour lasts about 30 minutes and is suitable for all ages. It is led by members of the Club del Buttafuoco Storico\, who will describe the landscape\, the vineyards\, and share anecdotes about the full-bodied red wine of the Oltrepò Pavese region. \nAt 4:00 p.m.\, an evening snack—featuring risotto paired with a glass of wine—free of charge\, open to the public and organized by the Club del Buttafuoco Storico—brings the tasting day to a close\, with dishes served while supplies last. \nAt the historic headquarters of the Club del Buttafuoco\, the journey of rice from the paddy field to the table\nThroughout the day\, the historic headquarters of the Club del Buttafuoco is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the world of rice. Alongside packages of rice from Lomellina-based companies\, photographs\, videos\, and interviews produced as part of the “Lomellina Terra di Riso” project showcase the work of the producers and the rice-growing regions of Lomellina. \nFinally\, there are activities for children featuring sensory and creative experiences centered on rice. These range from creating mandalas with colored rice to identifying different varieties\, as well as activities focused on the scent\, observation\, and handling of the product. \nRounding out the tour are the “mini rice mills.” Here\, visitors can observe the rice-polishing process up close\, guided by Luigi Ferraris\, president of Lomellina Terra di Riso. It’s a hands-on way to follow the rice’s journey from the paddy field to the table and learn about the work that goes into this everyday product. \nFree admission to lunch\, subject to availability; reservations required at the following link: https://www.eventbrite.it/e/biglietti-di-riso-in-vino-2002947586148. \nFree afternoon tasting while supplies last

SUMMARY:Riva del Garda – FINE WineTourism Marketplace Italy 2026
DESCRIPTION:FINE WineTourism Marketplace Italy 2026: The B2B marketplace dedicated to wine tourism returns to Riva del Garda on October 27 and 28\nWine as a Destination\nOn October 27 and 28\, 2026\, the Riva del Garda Exhibition Center will host the second Italian edition of FINE WineTourism Marketplace Italy\, a B2B event dedicated exclusively to wine tourism. \nBorn out of a collaboration between Riva del Garda Fierecongressi and Feria de Valladolid\, the event brings together wineries\, regions\, consortia\, wine routes\, and wine tourism destinations with tour operators\, travel agencies\, DMCs\, and international buyers. The goal is to facilitate direct interaction between supply and demand and to develop new business opportunities in the wine tourism sector. \nA marketplace for wine tourism\nFINE Italy is therefore not simply an event dedicated to wine tasting\, but a trade show built around networking among industry professionals. Wine is presented as part of a broader tourism offering that includes regions\, experiences\, itineraries\, and hospitality services. \nThe event will feature exhibition areas\, B2B meetings organized through a matching system\, conferences\, and training sessions\, as well as fam trips for buyers to experience the destinations and exhibitors’ offerings firsthand. \nItalian and International Wineries and Destinations\nThe 2026 edition will bring together participants from various regions of Italy and Europe. Participation has already been confirmed from Emilia-Romagna\, Piedmont\, Puglia\, Sardinia\, Sicily\, Trentino-Alto Adige\, and Veneto\, along with international participants. The lineup includes both individual wineries and regional groups\, consortia\, and wine tourism destinations. \nThe international dimension is one of the central elements of the format: the goal is to connect the Italian wine tourism sector with foreign markets and operators through professional meetings based on mutual compatibility between exhibitors and buyers. \nBusiness Matching and Training\nOne of the hallmarks of FINE Italy is its business matching system\, designed to focus meetings between industry professionals on potentially interested contacts and turn participation in the event into concrete opportunities for business development. \nIn addition to the B2B meetings\, the event will feature BE FINE\, a conference program dedicated to the evolution of wine tourism and the sector’s key trends\, with the participation of international speakers and professionals. \nThe 2025 edition\, the first Italian iteration of the format\, featured 76 exhibitors\, 74 hosted buyers from 24 countries\, 63 trade visitors\, and 1\,440 B2B meetings. The organization is using these figures as a benchmark for the second edition; naturally\, they do not represent a final tally for 2026. \nAn event for industry professionals\nFINE Italy is designed for professionals in the tourism and wine tourism sectors. The target audience includes tour operators\, travel agencies\, destination management companies\, tourism professionals\, and buyers\, while the Hosted Buyer program features a selection of participants and a personalized B2B meeting schedule. \nThis event is thus part of the wine tourism sector\, which is increasingly linking wine production\, the local area\, and hospitality\, transforming wineries and wine-growing regions into true tourist destinations. \nInformation\nDates: October 27–28\, 2026\nHours: 9:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.\nLocation: Exhibition Center\, Via Baltera 20\, Riva del Garda (TN)\nType: B2B marketplace dedicated to wine tourism\nOrganized by: Riva del Garda Fierecongressi and Feria de Valladolid\nOfficial website: fine-italy.com

SUMMARY:Tirano – Eroico Rosso Sforzato Wine Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:Eroico Rosso 2026: The festival dedicated to Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG returns to Tirano on October 31 and November 1\nTwo Days Dedicated to Sforzato\nOn October 31 and November 1\, 2026\, the Eroico Rosso – Sforzato Wine Festival returns to Tirano\, in the heart of Valtellina. This event is dedicated to Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG\, the wine that symbolizes Valtellina’s mountain viticulture. \nThe festival brings wine to the historic center of the city\, taking place in the courtyards\, cloisters\, and gardens of Tirano’s historic buildings. The tasting tour offers the chance to discover the leading producers of Sforzato and to learn more about a wine closely tied to the terraced vineyards of Valtellina. \nThe Sforzato and “Heroic” Viticulture\nThe central theme of the event is the relationship between Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG and the region where it is produced. Valtellina’s viticulture\, in fact\, takes place on steep slopes and terraces supported by thousands of dry-stone walls\, in conditions that often make the use of machinery difficult or impossible. \nSforzato is made from Nebbiolo grapes —locally known as Chiavennasca—which are left to dry before vinification. It is precisely this connection between the grape variety\, the mountainous territory\, and the drying technique that forms one of the central elements of the story told by the festival. \nWine\, Territory\, and Culture\nIn addition to wine tastings\, Eroico Rosso offers a program that connects wine with the region and local culture. The program includes winery tours\, walks through the terraced vineyards\, tastings in the vineyard\, culinary events\, music\, art\, and performances\, with events taking place throughout Tirano’s historic center and the surrounding wine-growing region. \nThe event thus also offers an opportunity to explore the Valtellina landscape and learn about the work involved in cultivating grapevines on its terraced slopes\, through experiences that combine wine tastings with the discovery of the region. \nInformation\n\nWhen: October 31 – November 1\, 2026\nWhere: Tirano (SO)\nOfficial website: eroicorosso.it

SUMMARY:Rome - Rossini-style Pastiche
DESCRIPTION:Gioachino Rossini: Opera and Marche Cuisine—“Pastiche Rossiniano” in Rome. Monday\, November 2\, at the Casina Valadier: an evening of music\, readings\, dishes\, and traditional products from the Marche region\nOn Monday\, November 2\, the music of Gioachino Rossini will come together with the flavors of his homeland at the Casina Valadier in Rome. \nStarting at 7:30 p.m. in the Hall of Mirrors\, an opera concert\, readings\, and a culinary experience will come together to form “Pastiche Rossiniano\,” an evening event organized by Linfa\, a special agency of the Marche Chamber of Commerce. \nThe Pesaro-born composer loved cooking and the joy of bringing people together around a table. In the Parisian salons he frequented and enlivened\, food and music were a regular feature. This image of Rossini serves as the inspiration for the evening in Rome\, which weaves together different artistic forms and leaves room for irony\, present in both the concert and the readings. \nProgram\nThe reception\, starting at 7:30 p.m.\, will feature fried “olive all’ascolana” served in foil\, paired with a sparkling Passerina wine from the Marche region. \nAt 8:00 p.m.\, soprano Valentina Corradetti\, bass Gaetano Merone\, and pianist Massimiliano Caporale will perform works by Rossini. Joining them\, actor Leone Di Gaetano will present readings dedicated to the composer and his passion for food. The artists’ performances will blend humor and intensity in a show that alternates between music and spoken word. \nAt the end of the concert\, journalist and food and wine critic Leonardo Romanelli will briefly introduce the dishes and products from the Marche region featured during the evening\, such as the mini galantine hamburger\, fried foods\, and cured meats. This will be followed by Filetto alla Rossini with Roman-style artichokes\, which pairs this dish—a tribute to the Pesaro-born composer—with a product that symbolizes the capital’s culinary tradition. \nAt 10 p.m.\, there will be a discussion on signature cuisine. hosted by Leonardo Romanelli\, featuring Laura Melloni of Linfa Marche\, Elisabetta Paviglianiti of the small coffee roastery Kali Natural Food\, and Lucio Pompili\, a chef from the Marche region who is now also a winemaker. The event will focus on the relationship between products\, dining\, and the local area. \nThe culinary journey will conclude with a nougat meringue topped with dark chocolate shavings and a Barbajada alla Rossini affogato\, created in collaboration with Kali Natural Food and the Roman gelateria Crema Alta. \nAll dishes will be paired with a selection of wines from the Marche region. \nThe evening for the general public will end around 11 p.m. Journalists and restaurant industry professionals will also attend the event and may stay until midnight to talk with the producers in attendance and representatives from Linfa. \nInformation \n\nWhen: Monday\, November 2\, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.\nPublic attendance requires a reservation; seating is limited\nTo reserve a spot\, email pr.enogastronomia@gmail.com. Your reservation will be valid only after you receive a confirmation email from the organizers.
