DESCRIPTION:Barolo and Derthona go on stage in Milan – 5th edition: March 22 at Palazzo Bovara with producers\, tasting room and masterclasses.\nOn Sunday\, March 22\, 2026\, Milan will host the fifth edition of “Barolo and Derthona go on stage in Milan\,” a tasting dedicated to the great wines of Piedmont in the heart of the city. The event transforms Palazzo Bovara – Circolo del Commercio into a sensory journey through the excellence of the Langhe and Colli Tortonesi\, offering wine lovers and trade operators the opportunity to meet producers directly and taste dozens of prestigious labels.  \nPromoted by Strada del Barolo e grandi vini di Langa and Terre Derthona – Strada del Vino e dei Sapori dei Colli Tortonesi\, with the support of Consorzio Tutela Vini Colli Tortonesi\, I Vini del Piemonte\, Confcommercio Milano and with the collaboration of Go Wine\, the event offers a focus of the highest quality on two of Piedmont’s iconic appellations: Barolo DOCG and Timorasso Derthona DOC. \nTastings between Langhe and Colli Tortonesi\nThe east wing of Palazzo Bovara will be transformed into a true tasting path where the producers present will offer their interpretations of Barolo and Derthona\, with a wide selection of different crus and vintages to be tasted directly at the counters set up in the rooms. \nThe Langhe is world famous for Barolo DOCG\, one of Italy’s most iconic and structured reds. In parallel\, the Colli Tortonesi are making a name for themselves with Timorasso Derthona DOC\, a white wine of great character and territorial identity. This combination makes the event a unique opportunity to explore two terroirs that are different but both capable of excellent oenological expressions.   \nEvent details and schedule\n\n11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Masterclass reserved for restaurateurs and industry professionals\n12 noon-1:30 p.m.: tasting reserved for operators\, with stations by producers of Barolo Docg and producers of Timorasso Derthona Doc\n3-7 p.m.: tasting open to the public\, with stations by producers of Barolo Docg and producers of Timorasso Derthona Doc\n6-7 p.m.: Tasting Salon\, featuring a Barolo producer and a Timorasso Derthona producer talking about their realities and offering selected wines not featured in the tasting tables.\n\nTickets and information\nThe admission ticket includes unlimited wine tastings\, official Barolo Trail glass and glass pocket.
