DESCRIPTION:From September 18 to 20\, the Franciacorta in Cantina Festival returns—an event dedicated to discovering Franciacorta.\nThe 2026 edition aims to put wine back at the heart of the experience\, reinforcing the event’s educational focus . The Franciacorta in Cantina Festival  is increasingly becoming an opportunity for wineries\, enthusiasts\, and the local community to come together and share experiences. Knowledge of the Franciacorta method\, its production history\, andits identity   The name becomes the central theme of the entire program. \nThis year\, the event is expanding its cultural and educational scope\, offering the public more opportunities for in-depth exploration and discussion through a rich calendar of tastings\, tours\, and experiences at some of the most iconic locations in this corner of Lombardy. The program is designed to foster direct dialogue with producers and offer a deeper understanding of the unique characteristics that make Franciacorta a standout in the Italian wine scene.  \nThe Franciacorta in Cantina Festival engages the entire region through the Franciacorta Wine Route\, which has been promoting the area’s tourism\, cultural\, and food-and-wine potential for over twenty years. Alongside the initiatives organized by the wineries\, the event highlights the contribution of restaurants\, lodging facilities\, and hospitality providers\, who will participate with special offerings and opportunities for discovery aimed at showcasing the region’s heritage\, traditions\, and local specialties.  \nAlongside these activities\, the exhibition dedicated to zoning—which was first presented during Design Week—is back and can once again be visited at the Consortium’s headquarters. The exhibition explores the interplay between soil\, landscape\, and the Franciacorta method\, offering an in-depth look at the factors that contribute to defining its distinctive character and making them accessible to the public.  \nThe program is also expanding thanks to new initiatives developed in collaboration with Accademia Symposium\, a center for advanced training in the wine and food and wine sectors. This initiative aims to explore the themes of research and innovation that are currently driving the evolution of Franciacorta\, offering a contemporary perspective on the work and vision of Franciacorta’s businesses.  \nThe official website festivalfranciacorta.wine features the complete calendar of events\, participation guidelines\, and all updates related to the Festival. Among the new features is the introduction of a dedicated identification system: educational events will be marked with a specific graphic symbol\, making it easier to navigate the program and identify experiences with greater educational content
