DESCRIPTION:50 Shades of Pinot Noir 2026: From October 9 to 11\, the festival dedicated to Pinot Noir returns to Voghera\, featuring tastings\, culture\, art\, and entertainment\nPinot Noir Takes Center Stage in Voghera\nFrom October 9 to 11\, 2026\, Voghera will host the seventh edition of “50 Shades of Pinot Noir\,” an event dedicated to one of the most widespread and recognizable grape varieties on the international wine scene. \nThe highlight of the event will be the tastings scheduled to take place in the Ridotto Halls of the Valentino Garavani Theater\, where\, on Saturday\, October 10\, and Sunday\, October 11\, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.\, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the winemakers and sample various interpretations of Pinot Noir. \nThe selection includes wineriesfrom the Oltrepò Pavese region\, Italian producers from various regions\, and international wineries from France\, Austria\, Slovenia\, South Africa\, the United States\, and New Zealand. \nA route winding through the center of Voghera\nThe event will also take place in the city center\, with exhibitions dedicated to art\, culture\, and design along Via Emilia and under the arcades of Piazza Duomo. The program will feature Italian and international guests\, as well as side events that connect wine to other areas of culture and creativity. \nThe program will kick off on Friday\, October 9\, with the opening event “To the Tunes of Pinot Noir” at the Caffè del Teatro\, accompanied by a selection of cocktails made with Pinot Noir-based ingredients. \nTastings and Cultural Events\nOn Saturday\, October 10\, in addition to the main tastings\, several events are scheduled. The tasting area will be open to the public for all nine days of the event. \nHere\, you’ll be able to discover hundreds of wines from wineries across Italy\, including white\, red\, and rosé wines\, as well as still and sparkling wines. The tasting will be organized using a card that allows you to customize your own tasting journey\, with the assistance of certified sommeliers and WineEmotion automated pouring systems. \nHowever\, the Enoteca won’t just be a place for tastings: the program also includes events where visitors can meet producers and experts\, as well as opportunities for in-depth exploration. \nWine-Filled Milan\nMilan Wine Week will also involve numerous bars\, wine shops\, restaurants\, and stores throughout the city\, which are invited to offer wine-themed activities and events throughout the week. \nThis format allows visitors to experience the event as they explore the city. Strategie Culturali. \nThis year\, the initiative supports the first National Day of the Italian Wine Landscape\, organized by Iter Vitis. \nOn October 23\, 24\, and 25\, 14 wineries across 8 regions will open their doors free of charge for the second edition of MetodoContemporaneo. Featuring itineraries that blend art\, wine\, and landscape\, this networked event—born from Italy’s first observatory on contemporary art and the wine-growing landscape—is being promoted this year by the University of Verona in collaboration with Iter Vitis and Nemo Monti Comunicazione. \nThree days and a single itinerary spanning the entire peninsula\, from Piedmont to Sicily\, to discover some of the Italian wineries that have made their connection with art\, architecture\, and culture an important part of their identity. Wineries\, collections\, museums\, and art projects open their doors to the public through guided tours\, talks\, and free experiences (by reservation)\, creating a “spread-out museum” that tells the story of the region through the interplay of wine\, art\, and landscape. \nThe Iter Vitis International Association\nThis year\, the project is further enriched by a partnership with the International Association Iter Vitis\, which conceived and promoted ITER VITIS – Les Chemins de la Vigne en Europe\, the Council of Europe’s 25th Cultural Route dedicated to vine and wine culture\, and coordinates the Iter Vitis Italia network. \nThis collaboration comes at a symbolic moment: the MetodoContemporaneo calendar is in fact part of the First Italian Wine Country Landscape Day —GPVI\, the new observance established to recognize the cultural\, historical\, and landscape value of vine and wine culture across Italy\, scheduled for October 20\, 2026\, the date of European Landscape Day. \n“We are extremely pleased to have so many Italian wineries participating\, representing the excellence of the union between wine culture and contemporary art.
