Col di Bacche

A visit to the Uccellina Natural Park in Maremma is a beautiful experience: a natural environment that speaks of Mediterranean colors and scents. Right on the edge of the park, about 15 km from the sea, is the 18-hectare hillside estate of Alberto Carnasciali and his wife Franca Buzzegoli. On about 15 hectares are planted the typical vines of the area, which is that of the Docg Morellino di Scansano, so sangiovese, as well as a small amount of vermentino to make a fresh, drinkable white. There is no shortage of merlot and cabernet sauvignon for the classic Igt.
