From the Langhe with Barolo and Barbaresco, to the Roero with Arneis, from the Tortonese with Timorasso, via Moscato and Barbera d’Asti.

An attachment to the land that goes back more than 150 years. At the end of the 19th century, in fact, Carlo Vietti decided to settle at the highest point of the medieval village of Castiglione Falletto, still home to the winery that winds its way through the village. Then, at the end of World War I, on his return from the United States, his son Mario introduced a new entrepreneurial spirit, focusing firmly on quality.

Art and wine

In the 1950s the baton was passed to Alfredo Currado, husband of Luciana Vietti, oenologist and art connoisseur, who started an intertwined journey of art and wine. One hundred years after the proclamation of the Kingdom of Italy, it was made one of the first Cru of Barolo: the Rocche di Castiglione; 1967 also saw the birth of the first Arneis, the queen white grape of Roero.
