Sparkle Day 2026 – Rome: Italy’s best bubbly returns to the spotlight with signature Cucina & Vini event honoring outstanding bubbles

On the threshold of the end of the year, the highly anticipated Sparkle Day 2026, the event celebrating quality Italian dry sparkling wines selected by Cucina & Vini’s “Sparkle” guide, returns to Rome.

After the last edition that recorded more than 200 labels in tastings, Sparkle Day is again proposed as the key moment for enthusiasts, operators and producers who want to touch the state of the art of Italian bubbles.

During the day, the new results of the Sparkle 2026 Guide will be presented. Special awards will also be given to the best labels with the “5 Spheres” symbol.

Where, when and schedule

The event will take place in Rome at the prestigious Westin Excelsior on Nov. 29, 2025 from 4 to 10 p.m.

Among the highlights:

• Opening of the tasting counter with more than 200 sparkling wines for tasting,
• Sparkle Guide 2026 official presentation,
• “5 Spheres” awards conferment,
• talks and insights with producers and sommeliers.

It is organized by Cucina & Vini, a wine & food trade magazine that has been promoting the culture of Italian dry sparkling wine for years through its Sparkle Guide and related event.
