Lugana DOC stars in immersive experience
OnJune 8, 2026, Bologna will host a new stage of Lugana Armonie Senza Tempo, the traveling format of the Consorzio Tutela Lugana DOC dedicated to the enhancement of Lugana DOC and the lower Lake Garda area.
For one evening, the park of Villa Benni will be transformed into an immersive space dedicated to Garda’s iconic white wine, with tastings, meetings with producers and a sensory journey designed to tell the contemporary identity of the appellation.
The event will bring to Bologna more than 45 wineries of the denomination, protagonists of a large open-air walk around tasting, where enthusiasts and operators will be able to taste the different interpretations of Lugana DOC directly narrated by the producers.
From the Lugana d’Annata to the Superiore, Riserva, Spumante and Vendemmia Tardiva versions, the public will be able to discover all the nuances of a wine that in recent years has established itself among the most recognizable and appreciated white wine appellations in Italy.
A tale of wine, territory and lifestyle
More than just a tasting, Lugana Armonie Senza Tempo is proposed as a tale of the Garda area and its lifestyle.
In fact, the project was created with the aim of enhancing Lugana not only as a wine, but as an experience linked to landscape, slow tourism, sustainability and well-being. An approach that in recent years has made the Lugana area one of the most dynamic wine destinations in Europe.
The Bologna edition will take place in the green spaces of Villa Benni, a historic mansion surrounded by greenery in the hills of the city.
The format will be that of a free and convivial tasting, accompanied by dedicated gastronomic offerings and the opportunity to meet directly with the producers. In case of bad weather, the event will be held in the interior spaces of the villa.
