Paestum Wine Fest 2025, the festival of doing business, returns May 4-6, 2025 with the biggest names in the world of wine and industry communication

Paestum Wine Fest kicks off the 14th edition of the festival of doing business. The appointment, already included in the agenda of the most high-performing sector operators and the most influential communicators in the world of wine and spirits, has been set for May 4-6, 2025, a three-day event that will officially reopen the doors of NEXT – Nuova Esposizione Ex Tabacchificio, the event’s historic location in Capaccio Paestum, Salerno. An occasion that will bring together the most authoritative personalities of the specialized panorama in the world of wine and communication to do business with the best Italian wineries in the largest exhibition in Central and Southern Italy.

Paestum Wine Fest renews itself and changes its skin, concentrating meetings between professionals, trade operators and enthusiasts on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to offer a more sectorialized opportunity to compare and connect wine and food professionals.

The event aims to generate opportunities for industry players and all B2B players to meet with a new organizational structure designed to enable concrete growth opportunities for the key players in the Ho.Re.Ca. market.

At the head of the Paestum Wine Fest is Angelo Zarra, creator and Ceo ‘Paestum Wine Fest’, flanked by Alessandro Rossi, director ‘Paestum Wine Fest’. Many novelties and specialized contents among the categories of haute cuisine, wineries and spirits companies, which will go to open the national border, dialogue with structured international realities and shape business. Also being defined is a strengthened incoming list reserved for importers, distributors, restaurateurs, chefs, sommeliers and all figures in the world of communication that will take Italian vignerons out of the national borders. Paestum Wine Fest aims, therefore, to become a gravitational center for wineries and consortium companies that intend to promote the entry of companies in foreign markets, in the presence of the most influential trade – operators.

Already at work also Matteo Zappile, Official Brand Ambassador ‘Paestum Wine Fest’ with the selection of the brightest sommeliers of the high catering scene for the second edition of the ‘PWF Limited Edition’, a fundamental contribution that will be added to the other initiatives planned and that will make the city of Paestum the epicenter of the sector business.

Training still in the forefront for Paestum Wine Fest to launch the most talented young people who intend to tell the story of the territory starting from culture and specialized education. Also this year, in fact, renewed the scholarship agreement with lntrecci – Scuola di Alta Formazione e Accoglienza, an academy represented by sisters Dominga, Marta and Enrica Cotarella. The institute of Italian specialization, to date, has trained more than one hundred and fifty professionals, currently employed in the most accredited restaurants around the world, from ‘Italy to America, up to Napa Valley, Dubai, Australia, Santo Domingo, Tokyo, Hong Kong, France, Denmark many other countries and continents. The business of Paestum Wine Fest continues to decline with opportunities following the first awarding of the educational prize to Domenico Soccodato, from the “Sacco” institute in Sant’Arsenio (Salerno), recipient of the “Intrecci-Famiglia Pagano 1968” scholarship, an intensive theoretical course flanked by six months of internship in the school’s partner restaurants in Castiglione in Teverina.

It also opens a new frontier in the food proposal that will be included in the spaces of the event, to offer a direct opportunity with professionals and the world of work. The protagonists will be hotel school students committed to try their hand and offer a high quality service with a sustainable, social and territorial menu.

But Paestum Wine Fest broadens its horizons by offering a wide calendar full of events, master classes and debates on territories, appellations and the main topics of the haute cuisine and wine scene. In addition, news, interviews, insights and all unpublished updates will be broadcast on the official PWF blog carried on radio and web.
