Umbria Wine 2025 – Perugia: a festival celebrating Umbrian wine in all its nuances

From Sept. 12 to 14, 2025, the heart of Perugia will come alive with the third edition of Umbria Wine, the festival that puts Umbria’s wine in the spotlight with tastings, food trucks, lectures and performances. The event takes place in the historic center, touching symbolic places such as Piazza Italia, Giardini Carducci, Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza Matteotti

More than 50 Umbrian wineries participate in Umbria Wine 2025, presenting their local products, flanked by the best regional food trucks: an experience that combines taste, territory and conviviality. Every day there are tastings, concerts, evening DJ sets and moments of cultural encounters.

One of the events not to be missed is the talk “Wine and Pairings,” with Umbrian protagonists of the new gastronomy: chef Elia Lunghi, young talent Nicola Cascini and pizzaiolo Andrea Bava. The meeting, scheduled in Perugia for Sunday, September 14, at 5 p.m., will offer the audience original keys on how to match wine with dishes: no longer just rules, but harmonies, contrasts and suggestions.
