Durello & Friends 2025: Verona celebrates the signature bubbles of the Lessini Mountains

On Friday, November 21, 2025, Verona is preparing to host a new edition of Durello & Friends, the annual event dedicated to Italy’s most original sparkling wine interpretations. The event, organized by the
Consorzio Tutela Vino Lessini Durello
, will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Verona, becoming for one day the meeting point for oenologists, producers, operators and fans of signature bubbles.

The event was created to valorize Lessini Durello Doc, the symbolic sparkling wine of the Lessini Mountains, but over time it has also become a moment of broader comparison on the national sparkling wine scene, bringing into dialogue different territories, methods and styles. “Durello & Friends” in fact is not only a showcase, but a real taste workshop, where technical and cultural issues related to the production of the classic method and charmat method are explored in depth, with a focus on the evolution of taste and the challenges of sustainability.

The program of this edition

• 2 p.m.: Masterclass “Questione di metodo: Classici a confronto,” an opportunity to explore the different declinations of the metodo classico through a guided tour by industry experts and some of Italy’s most influential producers.
• 4 p.m.: Talk show “Bubbles from classic method: the state of the art,” a discussion moment dedicated to the analysis of the most current trends in the world of bubbles, between technical innovation, territorial identity and new consumption styles.
• From 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: the tasting counter, where the protagonists will be the best Lessini Durello and Monti Lessini Doc sparkling wines. The main wineries of the area will be present, ready to tell their interpretations of this unique wine, son of a volcanic terroir that gives durella grapes acidity, freshness and a distinctive mineral character. An oenological heritage that in recent years has won more and more admirers in Italy and abroad, thanks to its elegance and extraordinary ability to age.

With Durello & Friends, Verona therefore once again celebrates the culture of wine and hospitality, offering a complete experience that combines education, tasting and conviviality. An event that caters as much to professionals in the sector as to enthusiasts curious to discover the many nuances of Italian bubbles, in a refined context open to dialogue.
