Throughout Italy – Cantine Aperte 2026

Cantine Aperte 2026: The highly anticipated widespread event with tastings, winery tours and wine experiences among vineyards and territories returns in May.
On May 30 and 31, 2026, Cantine Aperte, one of the most anticipated events for wine tourism and wine enthusiasts, returns throughout Italy.
Organized by the Wine Tourism Movement., the event involves hundreds of wineries along the entire peninsula, opening the doors of their cellars to the public for a weekend dedicated to discovering the territory, local produce and rural hospitality.
Founded in 1993, Cantine Aperte has become a true national phenomenon over the years, capable of bringing the public closer to the world of wine through direct experiences in the winery.
A weekend of tastings and wine experiences
During the weekend it will be possible:
- visit wineries and vineyards not normally accessible
- participate in guided tastings
- meet producers and winemakers directly
- Living immersive experiences among nature, culture and gastronomy
Each participating winery will build its own program, with customized activities that may include walks among the rows, picnics in the vineyard, sensory workshops, and food-wine pairing courses.
The 2026 theme: new forms of hospitality
New for the 2026 edition is the focus on contemporary wine tourism.
In fact, the 2026 edition comes with a revamped format, designed not only as a tasting day but as a showcase of new wine tourism experiences proposed by wineries.
In fact, Cantine Aperte becomes a platform through which wineries will present new hospitality formulas designed to be offered throughout the year.
The goal is to enhance wine as a complete territorial experience, going beyond simple tasting and fostering a more direct relationship between visitor and producer.
An event spread throughout Italy
Cantine Aperte involves all Italian regions, from the great historic appellations to emerging territories.
In some regions, there are also parallel initiatives such as “A Tavola con il Vignaiolo” (At the Table with the Winemaker) and routes dedicated to pairing wine with local cuisine.
