La Vieste en Rose 2026

June 1

La Vieste en Rose 2026: the municipality of Vieste and Gambero Rosso together for the 7th edition of the event dedicated to rosé wines. June 1, 2026 in the historic center of Vieste.

A city that toasts“. With this spirit, Vieste prepares to welcome La Vieste en Rose, the food and wine event that celebrates rosé wine and kicks off the Apulian summer. The 7th edition, scheduled for Monday, June 1, 2026 in one of the most enchanting settings in Southern Italy, will bring together wineries, operators and enthusiasts to experience an evening of tastings, music and wine culture.

The novelty of the 7th edition: the partnership with Gambero Rosso

The seventh edition marks an important novelty: the collaboration between the Municipality of Vieste and Gambero Rosso, leader and reference point of the Italian and international food and wine sector.

This synergy brings high-level editorial content and thematic insights, raising the event’s national profile. For the 2026 edition, five national journalists will explore the area and narrate the unique experience of Vieste and its food and wine tradition.

The B2B masterclass

Among the most anticipated moments of the event, the day on June 1 will also be dedicated to a B2B masterclass led by an editor of the guides “Wines of Italy 2026” e “Bere Bene 2026” by Gambero Rosso. The tasting will be reserved for journalists, industry professionals and restaurateurs, featuring some of the best Apulian wineries producing rosé.

The big wine tasting open to the public

In the evening, the historic center of Vieste will host the great wine tasting open to the public, with tasting counters of the best rosé wines selected by Gambero Rosso and a food area dedicated to typical Apulian products. The event will involve Wineries from Puglia, Italy and abroad, transforming the historic center into a sensory journey through cultures, vines and traditions. There will, as always, be no shortage of entertainment, with street artists and musicians among the streets of the historic center and the long-awaited final concert in Marina Piccola.

Events such as this help strengthen the identity of Vieste as a destination capable of combining scenic beauty, culture and food and wine quality, creating opportunities for visitors, producers and professionals to meet. It is precisely through events of this level that our territory is able to tell its best story and open itself to new opportunities for promotion and growth “, declares Tano Paglialonga, Councillor for Major Events of the Municipality of Vieste.

Rosé wine

Rosé is probably the wine that more than any other tells the story of the Mediterranean. Not by fashion, but by nature. Light, freshness, drinkability: elements that belong to the landscape even before the glass. In Apulia, this relationship has always been evident. Here rosé is an agricultural tradition, a direct expression of grape varieties such as Negroamaro, Bombino nero and Nero di Troia. The Gargano, with its sharp light and proximity to the sea, is a natural setting for this tale. Not only because rosé is a wine that speaks the language of summer, but because here it manages to find an authentic dimension: sharp aromas, savoriness, that lightness that is not banality but stylistic precision. I am convinced that the presence of Gambero Rosso can add a critical look that can help read this evolution with greater awareness “, says Giuseppe Carrus editor of Gambero Rosso’s Guida Vini d’Italia..

Vieste en Rose is organized by the Municipality of Vieste, in collaboration with Gambero Rosso and One Eventi, with the support of the partners AIS Puglia, IPEOA Enrico Mattei Vieste, Gelman srl, TicketSms and Tema. A close-knit team that contributes, again and again, to making the event a reference point for the world of rosé wine, capable of attracting enthusiasts, industry professionals and visitors from all over Italy.
