Abruzzo in Bolla 2026: the festival dedicated to the world of bubbles returns to L’Aquila with tasting counters, talks, masterclasses, food and mixing area.

Three days of sparkling wines, tastings and wine culture

From June 20 to 22, 2026, L’Aquila will host the fourth edition of Abruzzo in Bolla, the event dedicated to Italian sparkling wine that in recent years has established itself as one of the most interesting events in the Central Italian wine scene.

Organized by Virtù Quotidiane with the patronage of the Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo, the event will bring wineries, horeca operators, sommeliers, journalists and enthusiasts to Abruzzo’s capital for three days dedicated to Italian bubbles among tasting counters, talks, masterclasses and in-depth moments.

Palazzo dell’Emiciclo becomes the home of Italian bubbles

Also for the 2026 edition, the heart of the event will be Palazzo dell’Emiciclo, symbolic location of the city that will host tastings and meetings dedicated to the world of sparkling wines.

From the great Italian appellations to small artisanal producers, Abruzzo in Bolla will offer a journey through the different faces of contemporary sparkling wine making: Metodo Classico, Martinotti Method, indigenous grape varieties, special aging and new production experiments.

One of the distinctive elements of the event is its strong popular slant. In fact, the program includes thematic masterclasses, talks and meetings led by experts, journalists and wine professionals.

An event open to both enthusiasts and horeca operators

Abruzzo in Bolla was born with a double soul: on the one hand the general public of enthusiasts, on the other hand the professional operators of the horeca sector.

In fact, the final day on Monday, June 22, will be entirely dedicated to restaurateurs, sommeliers, maîtres, buyers and wine professionals, confirming the event’s desire to increasingly become a point of reference for the Italian sparkling wine sector.

A contemporary account of the sparkling world

Established in 2023, the event has grown rapidly to involve wineries from all over Italy, transforming itself into a true observatory of new trends in the sparkling world.

Between tastings, mixology, food area and cultural meetings, Abruzzo in Bolla thus continues to tell the story of effervescent wine in a contemporary, accessible and transversal way, while enhancing the territory of L’Aquila and the role of Abruzzo in the national food and wine scene.
