This is how the Historic Buttafuoco Club closes its 30th anniversary celebrations on Sunday, May 31, with “Scollinando,” a walk through the vineyards with food stops accompanied by producers. A special edition to retrace the history of the Club, which for 30 years has been protecting and enhancing this flagship wine produced in limited quantities in its historic vineyards. More than a food and wine walk, “Scollinando” is an immersive journey inside the landscape from which Historic Buttafuoco, born from the union of Croatina, Barbera, Ughetta di Canneto and Uva Rara, takes shape .

The itinerary will pass through the Club’s historic vineyards, linking the Sperone di Stradella wineries between the Versa and Scuropasso streams. Guests will walk together with the producers among rows of vines, ridges and small villages, entering the heart of one of the most identifiable viticultural landscapes of Oltrepò Pavese.

Each stop will be part of a unique spread lunch: from appetizer to dessert, each stop combines cooking and tasting, wines, hills and conviviality.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with staggered departures from the Historic Buttafuoco House, starting at 10 a.m.

At the end of the walk, the House of Historic Buttafuoco will open to the public for “Time in a Glass – 30 Years of Historic Buttafuoco,” a free tasting of Historic Vineyards designed as a last collective toast of the 30th anniversary.

“Scollinando- Special 30 years” is also an opportunity to reread the path taken by the Historic Buttafuoco Club: a countercultural choice born in 1996, when eleven producers, now eighteen, decided to defend a precise territorial identity, enhancing the historic vineyards and building an associative model now recognized as one of the most cohesive and representative experiences in Oltrepò Pavese.
