Amarone Opera Prima, the event dedicated to the debut of the 2020 vintage of the great Rosso della Valpolicella, will be held in Verona from January 31 to February 2, 2025 at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia (Piazza Bra). A special edition that also aims to celebrate the important milestone of 100 years of the Consorzio Vini Valpolicella (1925-2025).

The event

74 companies and 106 accredited journalists including 73 from 26 nations from Argentina to the United Arab Emirates, from Japan to the USA, from Poland to China to Singapore and the UK. This is the snapshot to date that heralds the 21st edition of Amarone Opera Prima, which kicks off the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the body for the protection and promotion of one of the most important Made in Italy wine appellations. Amarone Opera Prima begins on Friday, January 31, with a program reserved exclusively for the national and international wine press (by invitation only) that includes two masterclasses. The event will get into full swing on Saturday, February 1, with an inaugural conference reserved for the press and accredited guests; this will be followed by the opening of the tasting counters to the public.
