As usual, DoctorWine stops the week of mid August and wishes you peaceful and restful days whether by the sea, in the mountains, in cities of art… or, even better, among the vineyards.
Happy summer holidays 2025 to all our readers! As summer reaches its peak and the sun lights up the vines with hopes of a good harvest, we take a moment to toast you, lovers of good drinking and wine culture.
Happy vacations to those who are leaving or have already left, and happy return to those who have already enjoyed their days of relaxation. Ferragosto is the time for conviviality, set tables and chatting under the arbor. For our part, we have just delivered to the printer our 12th edition of the The Essential Guide to the Italian Wines and catch our breath to get back into full swing with the organization of the presentations to be held on the weekend of October 4-5 in Milan (at theHotel Principe di Savoia) and Saturday, October 11 in Rome(Spazio Novecento) and Wednesday, October 22 in London(The Royal Horseguards Hotel).
Upon our return we will begin to unveil a little more about the producers participating in the tastings, links to buy tickets and the names of the producers we have decided to award this year. It’s going to be a super interesting month of September and you’re going to see some great things!
