Datasheet for Alta Langa Blanc de Blancs Pas Dose 2020 Marcalberto:

Literally white from white grapes. Monovitigno by definition, Chardonnay being present in the winery as the only white grape variety. Vertical wine, endowed with great freshness and flavor, in a version without added dosage, in order to best express the concept of terroir, that is, the sum of the characteristics and biodiversity present in the so-called “white lands” of the Langa Astigiana. Varietal: 100% Chardonnay

Harvest Period: Last decade of August Pressing: Purchased directly in the Champagne area, the Coquard “marmonnier” press has been a leader for decades for pressing grapes. Widely used in France especially by small maisons, this is the first and only example still present in Italy. This tool allows a better softness of pressing, thus obtaining clearer and more limpid monsters. When tradition proves to be the best innovation.

Residual sugars: pas dosè (1.9 g/l)

Sensory characteristics: Fine and persistent perlage, straw yellow color with golden reflections. Nuanced notes of toasted hazelnut and bread crust accompany an agile and vibrant drink.

Alcohol content: 12.5% vol

Breeding: guyot

Soils: white, marly limestone soil
