100% Sangiovese from the Casetto vineyard. Maturation in 5- and 7-hl tonneaux. Fuller garnet color. Dark, layered nose with warmer blackberry and plum type fruits, also balsamic licorice. Then blood orange, cedar and a tinge of dark chocolate emerge. Generous, full, juicy and flavorful sip, with velvety but more impetuous tannins. Very long persistence.
