100% Chardonnay, fully destemmed. Fermentation and aging in 20-hl, unroasted French oak barrels for 8 months. It matures 12 months in medium toasted French barrique/tonneau and the next 4 years in bottle. Fruit of a simply perfect vintage. Bright golden yellow with strong intensity. Typical, intense, multifaceted floral nose of honey, hazelnuts, almonds, yellow flowers and beeswax. Mouth sumptuous without losing freshness, long persistent, with distinct notes of milk, butter, caramel, blond tobacco and intriguing vanilla.
