DESCRIPTION
The word “canevel” is used locally to refer to a small wine cellar, the one where the best bottles are kept. When, in 1979, Mario Caramel decided to embark on a quality sparkling wine project in the hills of Valdobbiadene, what better name could he give his enterprise? Today the company has grown, according to the vision of the founder who envisioned production that integrated the entire supply chain, from viticulture to winemaking to sparkling wine making. Since 2016 the winery has become part of the Masi Agricola Group, both of which are strongly linked to the terroir and winemaking heritage of the Veneto region.
