For more than 10 years, DoctorWine has been running the Vinitaly Tasting – The DoctorWine Selection space to celebrate the excellence of Italian wine. This well-established partnership is also confirmed for Vinitaly 2026, scheduled to take place in Verona April 12-15.
For more than a decade, DoctorWine has participated in Vinitaly with a dedicated space: Vinitaly Tasting – The DoctorWine Selection, consolidating a path of enhancement of Italian wines and producers in one of the most important wine fairs in the world.
Vinitaly represents a point of reference for producers, distributors and professionals in the horeca and wine trade, gathering thousands of exhibitors and hundreds of thousands of Italian and international operators. And this is where the DoctorWine program fits in.
Vinitaly Tasting – The DoctorWine Selection: history and growth
From the very beginning of the collaboration, Vinitaly has entrusted DoctorWine, and its founder Daniele Cernilli, a thematic space to present a targeted selection of Italian wines. This event has become a real landmark within the fair for professional operators.
The formula is now well established:
- Wine tastings on Wineemotion dispensers., featuring hundreds of labels selected by DoctorWine and available in a free-access area for those in attendance.
- Guided thematic seminars by Daniele Cernilli or his expert collaborators – Riccardo Viscardi, Stefania Vinciguerra, Sissi Baratella, Livia Belardelli, Francesca Granelli, Erika Mantovan… – designed to delve into grape varieties, territories, styles and trends in Italian wine production.
Seminars as the heart of the experience
In parallel with the free tastings, DoctorWine organizes thematic tasting seminars that are confirmed as the cultural heart of the initiative. The sessions-addressed to operators by reservation-permit to represent the diversity of the Italian wine scene, offering an opportunity to discover new vintages and emerging producers, in addition to the more established major labels.
This educational and engaging formula has helped the event grow, attracting hundreds of professionals each year eager to catch up on industry news and discover wines that deserve attention.

- 12:00-1:00 p.m. Cabreo, a history spanning 40 harvests (by invitation only)
- 2:30-3:30 p.m. Vermentino, Verdicchio, and Pecorino, the whites of the two seas
