From June 6-8, 2025, Fossanova Abbey in Priverno (LT) will host the fourth edition of Vini d’Abbazia. The event celebrates the monastic winemaking tradition through history, culture and tastings of excellence.
Vini d’Abbazia is an important showcase for Lazio, for the many personalities it involves wine, tourism and lifestyle opinion makers, to whom it offers the opportunity to learn about wine production, artistic and scenic beauty, making the most of the region’s territory.
This is basically one of the most important events in the Lazio wine scene, on which Arsial intends to invest with increasing commitment. In recent years, the Lazio wine sector has made a significant qualitative growth path. It has obtained important awards both nationally and internationally. Latium wines are finally garnering the attention and prestige they deserve. And Vini d’Abbazia is an event that also enhances the Lazio wine world because it turns the spotlight on an area that has an ancient tradition behind it.
Abbey Wines is thus a unique e wind. An initiative more necessary than ever today when there is a need for a different language. Indeed, it is necessary to convey more emotion than technique, in order to bring younger people closer to the world of wine; and this event an event that conveys culture, but also emotions.
Vini d’Abbazia is a journey into the fascinating winemaking tradition of monasteries and abbeys. Among the protagonists of this edition are Novacella Abbey, Praglia Abbey, Badia a Passignano monastery of the Antinori family and Feudi di San Gregorio with Goleto Abbey, as well as important French and Georgian entities.
The event will see three days full of master classes and lectures. There will be no shortage of tasting booths, distributed around the striking Abbey Cloister and a Slow Food Village, the gastronomic area with numerous stands of producers and presidia of the great international movement.
