Venice Wine Festival 2026 – International Champagne and Wine Fair returns to Forte Marghera

On the weekend of March 7 and 8, 2026, Venice turns into one of the European capitals of enology with Venezia Wine Festival, the fair dedicated to Champagne and international wines that brings together producers from all over the world in one big event. The event takes place in the pavilions of Forte Marghera, an evocative and historic structure at the entrance to the lagoon city, a meeting point for wine, culture and conviviality.

Venezia Wine Festival is the first and only fair in Italy designed to exclusively celebrate international wines and champagnes, offering wine lovers, trade professionals, sommeliers and the curious the opportunity to discover more than 5,000 labels from more than 20 countries and major wine regions around the world.

From France to Spain, Australia to the United States, Argentina to Chile and beyond, the festival offers a sensory journey through production styles, terroirs and high-quality bottles, with wine offerings as broad as they are international.

Program and tastings

The event is spread over two days of tastings and activities:

• Saturday, March 7, 2026 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Opening of the event with free tastings thanks to the Wine Card, which allows you to explore the different labels featured.
• Sunday, March 8, 2026 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. – Tastings and activities related to international wine culture continue.

Tastings take place in the event’s dedicated pavilions, where producers and sommeliers guide visitors to discover the wines on display.

Thematic masterclasses are also scheduled during the festival for a fee, offering insights into specific grape varieties, international terroirs and new production trends, with sessions led by industry experts.

The event also includes afood court with offerings from artisans of taste, designed to accompany the tastings and make the experience even more complete.
