This year, the event is expanding its cultural and educational scope, offering the public more opportunities for in-depth exploration and discussion through a rich calendar of tastings, tours, and experiences at some of the most iconic locations in this corner of Lombardy. The program is designed to foster direct dialogue with producers and offer a deeper understanding of the unique characteristics that make Franciacorta a standout in the Italian wine scene.

The Franciacorta in Cantina Festival engages the entire region through the Franciacorta Wine Route, which has been promoting the area’s tourism, cultural, and food-and-wine potential for over twenty years. Alongside the initiatives organized by the wineries, the event highlights the contribution of restaurants, lodging facilities, and hospitality providers, who will participate with special offerings and opportunities for discovery aimed at showcasing the region’s heritage, traditions, and local specialties.

Alongside these activities, the exhibition dedicated to zoning—which was first presented during Design Week—is back and can once again be visited at the Consortium’s headquarters. The exhibition explores the interplay between soil, landscape, and the Franciacorta method, offering an in-depth look at the factors that contribute to defining its distinctive character and making them accessible to the public.

The program is also expanding thanks to new initiatives developed in collaboration with Accademia Symposium, a center for advanced training in the wine and food and wine sectors. This initiative aims to explore the themes of research and innovation that are currently driving the evolution of Franciacorta, offering a contemporary perspective on the work and vision of Franciacorta’s businesses.
