VÈN – Winemakers and Terroir 2026: The event dedicated to winemakers, wine regions, and wine tastings returns to Lugo from October 16 to 18

Three Days Dedicated to Wine

From October 16 to 18, 2026, the Pavaglione in Lugo, in the province of Ravenna, will host the fourth edition of VÈN – Vignaioli e Terroir, an event launched in 2023 with the goal of bringing a selection of winemakers to the city center and telling the story of wine through the people, the territories, and the various approaches to winemaking.

For three days, the Pavaglione’s loggias will host tastings, meetings with producers, master classes, culinary offerings, and a market. The program thus complements the tasting experience with a series of in-depth events focused on specific regions and wine types.

Winemakers Take Center Stage

The 2026 program features a selection of producers from numerous Italian regions, ranging from Emilia-Romagna to Piedmont, from Lombardy to Trentino-Alto Adige, from Veneto to Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and extending to Liguria, Tuscany, Marche, Abruzzo, and Sicily.

There is also an international component, with producers from France and Slovenia. The complete list of exhibitors is posted on the official website.

The itinerary also includes a Riesling wine selection curated by the Riesling Restaurant in Marina di Ravenna.

Tastings and Master Classes

Tastings are the heart of the event, while masterclasses offer an opportunity to explore specific areas and styles within the world of wine.

The 2026 calendar includes events dedicated to Gevrey-Chambertin, the Jura, the Romagna Sangiovese MGAs, Champagne, and Riesling, as well as a session that compares the worlds of Mozart and Rossini through a tasting curated by Flavio Zaccherini. The sessions will be led by Filippo Apollinari, Marco Casadei, Marco Saiani, Flavio Zaccherini, Alberto Lupetti, and Roberto Perini.

Wine and Gastronomy

In addition to the tasting counters, the program includes afood court featuring several food trucks and a market dedicated to gourmet foods and artisanal products.

Among the options already mentioned are A la Mi Manira, Osteraia, Va Gina Gyoza, and Va Gina SmashBurger, while the market will offer doughnuts, olive oil, honey, and cured meats.

The event thus retains a convivial atmosphere, where wine tasting is paired with culinary offerings and the opportunity to purchase some of the featured products directly.
