Autoctono si nasce… in Turin: A major event dedicated to native Italian grape varieties, Monday, October 5, 2026
Go Wine resumes its activities at a hotel in Turin with an event entirely dedicated to native Italian grape varieties.
One of the city’s most important events of the year, part of the “Autoctono si nasce…” tour that Go Wine organizes throughout Italy in the fall.
In the halls of Eataly Lingotto, a selection of wineries will interact directly with the public, while other wineries will participate by presenting their wines in a special wine shop, highlighting the theme of biodiversity in the vineyard.
The event will highlight the richness of Italy’s wine-growing regions, which encompass many areas linked by history and culture to different parts of the country, from north to south. Over 60 varieties will be featured: an extraordinary tasting opportunity that also offers a comprehensive overview of the participating wineries.
The event is open to Go Wine members, supporters, and industry professionals.
TerreFood: For this special event, the food component will be managed by Eataly, which will offer a selection of culinary delights
Tasting times and shifts
When: Monday , October 5, 2026
To ensure the smoothest possible flow of participants and to allow more people to access the tasting area, entry will be organized in time slots (which must be strictly adhered to) and by reservation, which must be received by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5.
First Session: 4:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.: Preview: tasting reserved exclusively for qualified industry professionals (food and wine journalists, recognized representatives from wine shops, restaurants, and wine bars: two people per establishment).
Accreditation requests must be submitted via email. Go Wine will review and confirm accreditation in writing.
Second Session: 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.: Second session of the tasting counter open to wine enthusiasts.
Admission will be free for those who decide to join Go Wine (this benefit does not apply to family members). Membership will be valid through December 31, 2027. You can indicate your intention to join at the time of booking.
